Luckily I did bring my yoga pants and they said it was fine for me to wear my own clothes in the meditation rooms. Normally I go to Olympus, but the last few times there it was so crowded and pretty dirty. Q is definitely a lot less crowded and much cleaner. Also, I went with a friend on a groupon which you should definitely check for as I have seen them offer these quite a bit. So process is -- you check in and they give you the "uniform" -- they only have up to size 2x and it is a small 2x IMO -- more like a 1x. It is a tshirt and shorts. They also give you your locker key. Q Spa is coED but they have separate bathrooms for men and women. They only thing coED is the meditation rooms, the common areas and the cafe. So, after paying and getting your uniform you proceed to your designated bathroom/changing room area. Your locker key has a number to show you which locker you are assigned to -- the spaces for the lockers are a little narrow, but not as much as Olympus. You can either change to your uniform or you can head straight to the pools. I like to do the mediation rooms before I get wet so after changing I headed back out to the common area. There is at least one meditation room on the ground floor but the majority of them are up stairs. I am not sure if there is an elevator for someone that is handicap? But they had a salt room, a chill room, a charcoal room and a sand room -- I love the meditation rooms. I guess the only weird thing is that there were men sitting in the common areas outside of the rooms just working on their laptops -- seems like a weird thing to do in a spa! So my friend and I spent about an hour and a half in the meditation rooms and then we were ready for the sauna, the steam room and the hot tubs! They have three different hot tubs of varying temps and a sauna and a steam room. In this gender segregated area, you remove your uniform -- so like Olympus you need to be comfortable in your own skin. It wasn't crowded at all (unlike olympus where you can be boob to boob with someone). My friend and I enjoyed this section of the spa -- it was very relaxing. We were starting to get hungry and noticed the cafe opens around 11am. So we got changed back to our uniforms and headed to the cafe. I love Korean food -- I can't recall what the dish was called but it was one of those stone bowl dishes where the food is still cooking in the very hot bowl. It wasn't quite as good as Olympus but it was still pretty yummy. Service was friendly and pretty quick too. I will definitely try Q Spa again.

To the Q Spa team,…read more I've been a loyal customer for years and have referred many family members and friends because the service has always been wonderful. That's exactly why this afternoon's visit was so disappointing. I stopped by to ask for a brief tour so my college-age houseguest, an international student, could see the space and decide whether to bring her friends. I've done this before with other guests and family members without issue. This time, the male staff member at the front flatly refused, saying tours are "only for paying customers" even after I explained I am one. The lobby was empty and quiet; there was no operational reason to say no. He was dismissive and looked me over in a way that felt judgmental, which left me embarrassed in front of my guest. The woman working alongside him was warm and professional, which only makes the contrast more striking. I've been coming here longer than some of the current staff, and I'd hoped that history would count for something, or at minimum, that basic courtesy would. I'm not writing this to cause trouble. I'm writing because I care about this business and want to understand how a simple request to show off a space you should be proud of turned into me apologizing to my guest for how we were treated. I'd appreciate hearing back. Sincerely, Andrea

In short, OHT headquarters denies any responsibility for the leak in my hot tub that began during…read morethe warranty period. When OHT responded to BBB, OHT completely left out the facts that there were leaks in the hot tub two times during the warranty period that they came out to fix only from the INSIDE of the hot tub and only with "sealant." Not long AFTER the warranty was up, the leak presented itself again, OHT sent out a technician that verified there was a leak, but this time said it would require them to find the leak from the OUTSIDE of the hot tub by searching through the hard foam insulation to the tune of an unknown dollar amount. The tech said it would cost at least $1,200 and as much as $2,700 (or something like that). I said then, OHT should be responsible for fixing the leak since it wasn't fixed properly during the warranty period. The tech checked with the company and told me no, it wasn't covered. Then the tech advised me to use "Fix-A-Leak." The tech wrote down on my service receipt "$1,500 + or -". OHT also imply it is my fault, because I did my own work on the tub (I did only after the warranty). In fact, the only work I did was to replace the water pump (that they already replaced themselves during the warranty period that failed again, and that's why I replaced it), and I replaced the heater. Both fixes were only done in the front compartment and have nothing to do with the shell of the hot tub. *** also claimed we didn't maintain the chemical balance, yet each service report showed the water balance was "good," but even if that were not the case, nothing in the warranty said it was void for poor chemical balance. You can decide if this was ethical or not.

It's pretty good value, especially for families or if you want certain facilities, like the swimming pool. For a single person, there may be better options; but I do like coming here for the classes and workouts, and swimming in the warmer months. The locker rooms are nice enough, but the bathroom stalls usually have a lot of water on the ground, there's significant gaps in the doors, and there's only 3 stalls.

The staff are kind, it's a good mix of ages, shapes, colors and backgrounds of the other members which is cool because our family is mixed race. However, I sorely wish the staff would monitor members cleaning up after themselves more thoroughly. I maybe see one person a week wipe down their equipment after use which I find disrespectful. I hate complaining and have learned just to pre-clean and post clean everything I use but I feel like a better job could be done managing this issue if it were something staff cared about. Perhaps it's just me... The price for myself and my husband is $116 per month and while I know there are scholarships for folks per income needs- I would love to see children under certain ages be able to be added for free- it would be so nice to have access to childcare without having to add our daughter for a full price. My husband also just uses the pool and I would love to see pricing reflect this, for example, could folks just sign up for a pool pass? It's likely we just need to find somewhere else for him to swim so I can quit complaining.
