If anyone knows me, I am always on the go so my time is precious. I was in and out, but left with tons of information. So I didn't feel rushed and everyone is truly professional. I was a little leery, but decided on this location after two things: 1) a special they were offering and 2) other locations were either not convenient, got bad reviews, or not convenient to me. I was a little skeptical of this process- I didn't know if it would work or how long the results would last but I hoped for the best. Ericka concentrated the sculpting on my abdomen area since I had that c-section "pooch" and that was one of my target areas to tone up. I did notice that the area was tighter and flatter the next day and stayed that way- it wasn't just a temporary toning that was gone the next day, which is what I was afraid of. They did leave me having to drag the pole to the bathroom a few times, because someone took that button away that calls the nurses to help. It took longer waiting than I had planned, but once I got in there, I was out like a flash and the procedure was successful. The last time I had a colonoscopy, they gave me the wrong anesthesia and couldn't get me to stop wiggling. That was the VA in San Antonio, TX. Gave me so much, it took me a long time to come to, only to tell me I had to come back and have it done with general anesthesia instead of local. Ummmmm, NOT! Hahahahaha Even after Dr. Karim found something back there that was benign, they said they'd like to see me back in 3 years (I think). I said, "No, how about 5?" I can't stand the prep, it keeps me up all night, then I had the runs for over half a day. UGH! Great & kind team of staff in the OR. Thank you!

She is not the type of person who meets the standards of decent customer service for a fast food service, let alone a wellness therapy provider. I would hope the owners of Hydra+ do not find it okay to speak to another human, let alone a paying customer, in such a way. I have only had positive experiences with Hydra+, but as long as Jade is with the company I will not be returning to the Buckhead location

I've never had a bad experience inside the office. However, they have a serious problem with fielding phone calls and returning calls. Just the other day, I was told by my pharmacist that they couldn't refill a prescription for me because my doctor's office would not return their calls. Since I desperately needed this prescription refilled, I called the office upwards of six times without speaking to one person. Voicemail every single time on a weekday. The seventh time I called them I finally got an answer from the receptionist, who then transferred me to my doctor's nurse. The phone rang for about 3 minutes before I heard the sound of the phone being picked up and then the click of it being put down immediately after. So not only did I not get to refill a prescription I very badly needed, but I was also ignored and/or pushed aside. Needless to say I'm very disappointed with the office at the moment and I STILL don't have my prescription a week and a half after trying to call it in the first time.

Upon showing up at the facility, you will sign in on a computer then if you are brand new you will have a short class before volunteering so you can learn what to wear and what not, put on gloves, aprons and beard mask so you can prevent from hair contaminating the food in the kitchen. I usually volunteer for the meal packing position where you will be packing meals for about 2 hours for people who have dietary restrictions or just people in need. I find this a great opportunity to give back to our community. This company really relies on volunteers helping in the kitchen and they truly appreciate everything. They also have group sign up options so you can volunteer with your school, church group or work event. Anyways I definitely recommend for you to check it out! :)

My wife and I visited Open Hand Atlanta to volunteer our time for a couple of hours to prep meals…read more Open Hand provides nutritional meals for those with chronic diseases, such as AIDS/HIV, different forms of cancer, etc. These nutritional meals promote and prolong healthier way of life. Once you arrive and sign in, you'll be taken to a waiting room area, where Open Hand staff gives you a rundown of their history and what their mission is. You also get the rules of the prep room and are gifted a one of a kind hairnet, plastic apron, and men with facial hair gets face masks. No jewelry may be at any time. Rings, necklaces, earrings, facial piercings, watches, etc. can NOT be worn. There are different things that you can do at this space, but I wanted to do meal prep. We washed our hands and grabbed plastic gloves. Keep in mind, the gloves are different sizes. The meal prep was like an assembly line. The meal we prepped was Beef Stroganoff on Noodles with Green Beans. With a scale, the first person weighed the appropriate number for the noodles, the second person weighed the right number of beef stroganoff, and the third person weighed the right number for green beans. There is then a fourth person who wipes off any excess food from around the rim of the food container. This is important so the plastic cover will seal appropriately. It's then put in this contraption that holds multiple containers and a person press seals it and puts it to the side. This is definitely quite a process, but once you get into the flow of it, it becomes easier. Some people make it a challenge against another group to see who can make the most meals. Side note: THIS PLACE IS FREEZING! The ENTIRE BUILDING IS COLD! Bring a jacket or hoody. Overall, this is a great place to come with a group or by yourself and do some charitable services. Fortunately, we came with a large group of my wife's coworkers, so we were able to knock out over 2,500 meals which was awesome! I'd definitely come back.
