I have been a loyal member of Hydra+ for years, and today I unfortunately experienced the worst customer service of my entire life at the Buckhead location. Jade was at the front desk when I arrived this morning and was unbelievably and unnecessarily rude to me. I had just gone in for an IV, but her abysmal attitude made me turn around and leave. She is not the type of person who meets the standards of decent customer service for a fast food service, let alone a wellness therapy provider. I would hope the owners of Hydra+ do not find it okay to speak to another human, let alone a paying customer, in such a way. My husband and I walked into HydroPlus in Buckhead two weeks ago and I was as sick as I've been in a very long time. I had that horrible flu that was whipping around the city. I think it was apparent to everyone that I needed the immune support bag as I was very pale. We added Vitamin C and Vitamin B boosts. Juan got me loaded up successfully and off I went. I sat in the comfortable recliner for about 45 minutes with a blanket and enjoyed my body being re-loaded with liquid. I even felt a little better by the time the bags were finished. Over the day and night, I felt incrementally better! Thirty-six hours later, I was on my feet and could tell I knocked it. Still weak, but on the upswing, for sure. I'm going to make this a routine. There's no need for us to wait until we're sick! Get ahead of that!! read more

This was a relaxing experience and I wish I could bring it back to Florida where I live. I walked in with no appointment and was able to get my therapy right away. The nurse was friendly and helpful and even gave me some extra treatments as well, which was very kind. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful and coming off of a plane and fighting Atlanta traffic, this really calmed my nerves and relaxed me a lot. I've taken some time to process my visit and the aftermath so I think I'm ready to speak up about it. My bf and I came here the day we left for Denver (8/5) and I was super excited about it. My boyfriend backed out upon reading the paperwork but decided to go through with it when I got mine. At first, I was okay and encouraged him. I mentioned numerous times in front of the person who stuck me that it burns a little and she told me it was normal. So whatever.. 5 mins later I ask my boyfriend if his burns at all and he says no. I look at my arm again 5 mins later and it's pretty swollen. I told her that and she explains to me that my vein is collapsed. Sounds scary but I didn't want to freak my bf out at all so I kept calm. She inserted the catheter into my wrist area after that (on the same arm) [which I've learned from several of my clients since the time that you are NOT supposed to stick an IV below the original poke] They untie me and blood starts pouring out everywhere and got on my clothes. Which for the common person, would terrify them. Luckily I'm not easily "icked" by that kind of stuff so I still kept calm. They proceeded to puncture my left wrist, collapsed that vein, then punctured my left mid arm. FINALLY that worked and no more veins collapsed. I was happy and proceeded onto my day. I was kinda worried because I had a flight that day and wasn't sure if the collapsed veins would be okay at a high altitude. So, I call and speak to someone who happens to be phlebotomists' superior. He reassures me that I'd be fine, but then tells me that the max they're supposed to poke me is 3 times. They did 4, and possibly even 5 (I think I remember them poking my left wrist twice) I still wasn't even mad. Until we arrived in Denver and I didn't feel a noticeable difference at all. I had to drink 2 Liquid IV packs a day and guzzle water. Which is fine... I know Denver is dry. But I didn't think I'd be THAT dehydrated upon arrival being that I paid for a $100 IV. It felt all that pain was for nothing. My bruises on my arms are just now going away. I know my veins are small and hard to find, but the fact that they didn't follow protocols scares me from ever doing this again. They had great tea though... read more

I called and scheduled an appt same day and when I arrived was told they were completely booked up for the remainder of they day and couldn't take me. Not only did I sit in traffic but they didn't even accommodate the fact that one of there employees told me they were completely open for the remainder of the day. My review will be brief because I have the IV in my arm and I'm really under the weather. The decor is on fleek!! Basically, they had a good decorator. The customers service is really above average! Not sure why so many people had a bad experience with their staff. They give you coffee and hot green tea (free) prior to hydration, then blankets for when you're getting hydrated. The premedic/firefighter is a gem. He is very personable and tried to accommodate me the best he could he saw how pained I looked. My only negative is I felt their 'patient questionnaire' was a tad intrusive (ex. Income, rent/buy your home, etc). I understand the marketing advantages behind it, but since you fill everything out on iPad you can't skip it. That's why it's a con. I don't not feel immediately better following treatment, but I'm sure I'll recognize the difference after a nap. I'll give four stars for now and update later :) read more

I visited this location about a week and half ago. While the staff was friendly and welcoming, I was stuck twice before the third IV actually hit a vein. Frustratingly enough, these two unsuccessful tries left me with a large bruise on my forearm that resulted in me having to wear long sleeves for work to hide the fact that I looked like a drug addict since I work with kids! While the IV did help my symptoms of dehydration I will probably not attend this location again as I can't run the risk of being poked and prodded and left with bruises. This is a great place to spend 20-30 mins relaxing while getting essentials fluids and vitamins. The private rooms are quiet and peaceful. It's nice that with each bag of fluids you get oxygen. FYI they don't have WiFi or phone chargers in the rooms. read more

They pretty much forgot about me and I was in a room attached to the hydration bag for a solid 15-20 minutes longer than I should have been. I also filled out a cancellation form because I'm moving. Very clean and comfortable facility. Nurses are always really friendly. I usually fall asleep during my treatment because I'm so relaxed.

Love getting these treatments. I did one a month last year and didn't get sick all year. I commonly get migraines and allergy headaches and I come here and it makes them so much better. I do a monthly membership which is 50 and it covers your bag for a month under tier 1. Gives you a painkiller(if u want it) Pepcid Zantac, vitamin b, fluid etc. I also like to get these before or after I travel and naturally they are completely amazing for hangovers. I had a horrible hangover where I couldn't keep anything down and felt just awful. Within 10 mins I started to physically feel better. The downfalls: when I first got my membership they said you can walk in anytime, but I've never been able to just walk in but the first time I got the membership when I was dying from a hangover. Usually if I walk in they tell me to come back In an hour or two, so just make an appointment because that can get annoying. Second, don't do the evenings. They get super busy and it takes forever. During not busy times, it takes maybe 45 mins? Faster if you are dehydrated or depending on your needle size. So during the day is best and the weekends... go in before everyone with a hangover wakes up or have some patience. The have a few different rooms. A private room with no tv and simple not as comfy chairs and then tv rooms with super comfy chairs but you can be in there with few folks. Doesn't really bother me. If you are feeling antisocial, bring an iPod or kindle or just Facebook it on your phone. They also provide you a blanket since you can get cold during the treatment and water, coffee or tea. Lastly, it can be costly if you don't have a membership. So just do that. They do little free monthly things/vitamins to try so that's always cool to get maybe a little extra or something you haven't tried. Anddddddd tip your nurse. So they didn't really mention this to me the first time and I overheard someone say it and that's how I found out but it makes sense. I mean they are stabbing you with a needle. read more

I've been now twice to Vida-Flo. The first time was after a stomach bug caused me some serious hydration, and the second was after a long weekend of air travel. The first time I was seriously dehydrated and felt wonderful after the treatment, and the second time I really didn't notice much of a difference. I love the concept and the accessibility of medical grade hydration. There's absolutely a demand for this product, and you only have to check their online booking tool to see how fast they get booked up. My only gripe is in the execution. What will make or break this business is their ability to execute this with hospital-grade health and safety standards, which I don't think they come close to, and if they do, then they need to publish this information. Are they Joint Commission certified? There's foam disinfectant dispensers in the rooms, but I never saw any staff use. Hospital staff make it a point to use this in front of patients so there's no dispute over germs. The garbage can did't have a foot petal, so the lid had to be touched to open and close the can. In my last visit, the nurse discarded my IV materials before I was bandaged up, so she touched the garbage can lid to throw everything away, and then came back to finish. As you're waiting for your bag to fully drain throughout the 45 minutes, the nurse is checking on several people throughout that time. This is where washing of hands, changing of gloves, etc. is critical. I can't say for certain, but it appeared to me on my last visit that the nurse came in during the end of my visit to discharge me with gloves she had been using with someone else. Maybe she put them on before she entered the room. But again, this is my point, hospitals make a point to do this in front of customers so customers feel that they are getting safe, sterile treatment. Last but not least, I would put photos of the medical staff and their titles up in the lobby. I know you hire nurses and PAs, but customers will feel better when we can put faces with names and credentials. Most clinics do this, and it would serve your business well too. Otherwise, customers may see your employees as transitory, and that's not good for the brand. I will give this another shot in time, no pun. read more

Some friends recommended a hydration station for hangovers but I'm not a fan of needles and the concept weirded me out. That was until, I had flu like symptoms two days before I was supposed to leave for Mexico.. I couldn't move from my spot on the couch/bed/horizontal position until the night before my trip. I was running a high fever, had chills and aching body. Thank god I hadn't taken any medicine since early that morning, they were friendly and helpful and very careful to get solid information and medical history before letting me sign the dotted line and stick me. I decided I needed the big ass IV bag with all the fixin's. Vitamins and fluids were exactly what I needed. Kimberly was my nurse and she was as gentle as she could be about the needle and brought me water (because you get a strong vitamin fiber taste during the IV) and also a blanket because you will get cold! I will forever recommended and swear by Vidaflo. I woke up the next day and I can't explain to you how much it helped me. It ran me about $160 but was worth that tenfold. Oh, and tip your nurse. The nurse that finally showed up from a different store was very nice but she 'blew out my veins' - I opted for her not to try a 3rd time. I was recovering from food poisoning and leaving the country for a beach vacation and hoping to feel better. Both of my arms are bruised - one is in extreme pain and pretty much useless. AMAZING!!! I bartend on weekends and go to school during the week and I always feel completely drained. I went here for a pick me up because I more than needed it. The staff is friendly and greets you with a smile as soon as you walk through the door. You go back to a cozy room and sit back, watch tv and listen to some good relaxing tunes and get hooked up to a drip bag. When it's all over you feel so refreshed. Love this place! I always feel relaxed and hydrated after I visit. Prices are reasonable but honestly its way cheaper than going to the ER for a stomach bug or even the flu. Take it from me, I'm an ER nurse and they give pretty much the same things at Hydralife (fluids, zofran, toradol, etc...)that they do in an ER, but for a quarter of the price, if that. Legit, been coming here for a little over a year. Im a stickler on details-some of the interior-mainly cosmetic stick out at me-as it is a clinical environment these things are easy to fix. Ceiling tiles, wires etc. However outside of that from the receptionists to the nurses I have never had a bad experience here. I couldn't rave about this place enough. I went in feeling like death. I was visiting from out of town and a waitress gave me dairy, which is a huge no-no for me. I couldn't keep anything down including water and was so dehydrated. I came here and they made me feel so much better. I hate needles, have never had an IV in my life and was pretty terrified of the treatment but I was willing to do anything to feel better. They were so comforting everything was painless.
