    Empanadas

Decent empanadas with some non traditional flavors. Tried the guava and cheese and the spinach and feta. Both were delicious as a light snack. $4 each so nothing too expensive. Lots of vegan or vegetarian options too which is a plus. They also serve drinks like smoothies and sodas. Staff is friendly, would be back to try more flavors.

The empanadas were really good - seasoned well, without being too spicy! The service was great- the cashier was very friendly and attentive. He made sure he even described on our bag which was what. The service was also very fast. I was in and out in minutes, with the empanadas having been warmed up and everything. The ambiance was very serene. It is quiet in there and has dimmed lighting, which I appreciated. I don't like the lights being right in your face. All in all, this was a really great place! I'd definitely come back! :)

Delicious!! Amazing!! These empanadas are a pleasant change to the tradition hard shell ones. These are flaky and tasty. I just keep shaking my head, just when I thought you can't do anymore with empanadas.. boom this happens. I was greeted by a young lady with a warm smile and two different empanada assortments display. I automatically got the Cuban. The second was tough to decide. Finally picked chicken with house sauce and a tea. It's like biting into a soft flaky goodness with a lot of yummy stuffing. I think I might have another one. They are unbelievably good!! Yeah I'll stop fighting my urge. This a must try!!!

Eggplant (vegetarian) and Flaki (vegan) were so yummy!!

Place is a little sparse, and may look a little empty, but don't let that stop you from stopping by. I am used to empanadas primarily being meat or chicken based, but there are endless options here for not just the vegetarian, but the picky all plant-based vegan eater!! I'm a vegetarian but I was able to enticing meat flavors well suited for people in my family that aren't quite as snobby. The sauces they come with are addicting too!! Dee, the lady behind the register is super helpful and will make sure you leave satisfied. And if you're not satisfied after a few empanadas from here, well then you're on your own lol.

Different from the way us Dominicans make ours. These are baked not fried. But I must admit that the one Cuban Empanada I got was actually better and more flavorful than the sandwiches I get at the local Spanish restaurants. It should be illegal to pack that much flavor into a not so guilty pint size sandwich. The crust was buttery and complemented the filling. I was very impressed. As to not be greedy I only got one, should have gotten a second, but gives me a reason to come back. Staff was nice and friendly. Service with a smile. Oh BTW all orders are for takeout only. Due to covid you cannot each inside.

A little empanada place right in the heart of Bloomfield Ave. You cannot go wrong if you are in the area and craving a little snack. The empanadas are good here and there are so many different flavors to chose from. Upon walking towards the counter, all the different flavors are on display. I tried a few different flavors with a friend. The crust is nice and flaky (I prefer this over the hard shell ones). Empanadas are reasonably priced and they also have some dessert! Staff is friendly and food comes out quick :)

A welcome pickup establishment in the pandemic era where there's nothing but. Simple and tasty, and I recommend the chorizo.

The pastry is PERFECTLY flaky and crisp, a perfect size, and packed to the absolute brim with filling! Based on the other reviews I'll def have to come back and try the beef and pulled pork~! I placed an order for pickup on DoorDash and I was shocked by how fast I got the notification that they were already hot and ready for me and when got there I was super pleased by how warm I could tell they were just by holding the bottom of the box! Side note to the owner/owners unrelated to the food, I love all the houseplants in there, the pop of color is SO PRETTY and really makes the shop feel comfy!

They are popular in countries all around the world, and the filling options are just as varied. Enjoy them for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, served as an appetizer or main dish. Opened just two years ago in a little strip mall consisting of 2 stores off S Main St in Lodi, I came to Empanadas NJ Cafe as a first-timer for lunch. Upon entering this cozy shop with 3 tables for dining, I was greeted by the staff at his family-owned/family-run establishment specializing in Argentinian empanadas. These, put simply, are savory baked hand-held pastries. A large selection menu featured everything from Beef, Chicken, Ham & Cheese to Apple Pie, Hawaiian, and Guava & Cheese. One can't go wrong with any of the options. After speaking with Lucas, the owners' son, he recommended their popular Beef, Chicken, and Cuban Empanadas. They arrived hot. Each empanada was identified with the initials on the left side border. The shells were not greasy. They were packed full with the flavorful fillings with the accompanied Chimichurri sauce and were delicious. The price was comparable to the area. The staff was friendly and helpful; the service was fast. They've gotten so popular that a second location has been announced in Boonton. It was worth every minute, which I can recommend.

Fantastic bakery, wow!…read more I recently stumbled upon this bakery when searching for places that open early. I had to pick up some treats for my client meetings that day. The bakery is very clean and nicely decorated. I was thrilled to see the variety of items they had. I ended up going back the next morning for myself since my clients were giving such good feedback. I'm a savory girl so I my eyes lit up when I saw they had empanadas, ham croissants, etc. They also have AMAZING fresh pastries. I had the chance to taste the Bavarian cream pastry fresh out of the oven and WOW, just wow. They bake the empanadas so they taste light and delicious. I really enjoyed the chicken, beef and spinach one. However, those were the only ones I've tried lol. I also like their iced coffee. The prices are excellent! A dozen pastries for $9 - what a steal! The empanadas are under $2 each. Overall I'm now obsessed with this place and will be going back often.

Especially when you are not in the mood for your own cooking and you just feel like grabbing something to eat instead. It's a small baut nice bakery. A little bit of a fast paced environment. Not too bad but quick. Everything there looked absolutely delicious! We wanted to order everything but alas our time in tje line ended and we had to choose. So we ordered a few empanadas, pastries and coffee. Everything we ordered was delicious but I have to say my favorite savory was the Beef empanadas. Perfectly seasoned and crunchy on the outside. The pastries soft with the sweetness of the dulce de leche. Now their coffee to me personally I've had better. I fell like the food and pastries make up for the coffee. I still fell in love with this place. Isn't a cozy home away from home type of vibe. Wish we didn't live in Orlando so I can become a regular here but what can I do? I will just have to make another trip. Well, point is I fell in love with this place
