The Empanadas are unbelievably good. I've had no better than at The Original Empanada Factory. I have had their Cuban, guava and cheese, apple, chicken, and beef empanadas. The dough is so light and flaky, unlike any of the Empanada that I've had. I believe that they're baked only and not fried. If you haven't tried their empanadas you are definitely missing out. I highly recommend this place. They also have other things on the menu that I have yet to sample and I'm sure that they're all delicious. The service is great. It's always great. Empanadas are quite tasty here. I picked 6 and was able to choose all different kinds. My favorites are the beef empanada and chorizo potato. The lady who served us the empanadas was very nice and friendly. This is a good place for a quick bite as there are already lots of empanadas prepared and ready for order. You can have them heat it up for you so that you can enjoy them warm. I also tried their Oreo and Nutella empanada, which is more pricey. Was going to give it 2 stars to be kind, but the empanadas were just not edible in my opinion. They were not hard crusted like a normal empanada - they were soft and soggy crusted, and the guava/cheese was CROISSANT-like crust, as was the cheese. The beef's crust seemed only slightly less CROISSANT-like. Also, they were GREASY as can be, which is much like a croissant dough would be. I ordered 2. She got my order wrong. I asked for the guava/cheese and beef, and I thought the prices must have gone up so I didn't say anything. I'd never been there before, and honestly, she didn't seem like she wanted to serve me in the first place. I asked a few questions and either she is shy or got annoyed. By the time I got them home, 20 minutes later, the brown paper bag was soaked in grease. To my surprise, THREE empanada were in the bag. One was just cheese and it was tasteless. The guava/cheese was loaded with guava which I guess is good, but it was greasy and soggy and sloppy and....just not good. The beef meat was seasoned, but the soggy greasy croissant-like crust made it inedible. Funnily enough, my daughter said "people love their empanadas" but I agree, these are bad. They have an entire case of "dessert" empanada and perhaps those are good considering the croissant-like crust, but I will never return and feel it was a waste of my money. Not good. Very tasty empanadas! As we know, there are different variations, some are deep fried, and some are baked. These were sort of a combination of both, but weren't greasy when I got to them. Always a plus. The were packaged finely into the delivery box which was heavy and that always makes me excited to know I'm getting a good meal. 4 out of 5 were great! One was probably good for other people, however I didn't like the ingredients and went on a limb. I loved the traditional beef, definitely get a couple of these, I did not however like chicken and cheese. Again, not knocking it, just not my thing. I was intrigued by the huge variety of empanadas that they offered, including some very creative combinations that are not often seen in empanada form. I love empanadas so why not start my cheat day with some. When I arrived there was only street parking but I found a spot right away. When I walked in there was someone ahead of me but when I got to the counter I asked questions and the server was very informative. I decided to go with the buffalo chicken empanada and beef empanada. She told me I can add a drink for the same price so I went with the lemonade. It only came to about $5.35 which is a bargin. Everyday for the last two years I drove by this little place on the way home from work. If you blink, you're definitely going to miss this place. I went with traditional beef and chicken. Then I went with meatball parm, eggplant parm, chorizo and potato and Philly cheesesteak. Meatball parm and eggplant parm was average at best. I wouldn't get them again. Somehow, I never drew a chorizo and potato so I cant say how that one is but my wife said it was very good. Philly cheesesteak was VERY good. Beef was VERY good. The chicken empanada was PHENOMENAL. All were filled and packed you the brim!!! Speaking to the owner, he asked if I've ever been there and when I said no he said.... "Trust me, you'll be back" I was thinking.... wow... those are fighting words.. but.... he was right.... These are some of the best empanadas I've ever had! The crust is flaky and filling is not greasy. They also have a good selection of options. Cant go wrong with a classic options like shredded chicken but they also have chicken parm, eggplant, chorizo, etc. All the varieties we tried were delicious! It's a small little shop on ridge road but perfect to stop in and grab a snack for the road. The empanadas were hot and fresh and service was quick. They offer various combo deals and let you mix and match the empanadas which is nice. Price is fair for the quality! Really cant say enough about the perfectly hot and flaky crust! I tried the plain cheese, guava and cheese, mango and cheese and I went on a limb and got eggplant parm. The dessert empanadas are great! Lots of filling. The savory left me wanting more. I feel like the sweet ones work because they're almost more of a puff pastry, definitely not an authentic empanada. They're very very light, which isn't a bad thing. It's not to have a lighter option, usually they're deep fried and heavy. At the same time they're light and not that filled because they're so flaky. I went around 6ish on a Wednesday and they have tons of each flavor so selection wasn't a problem. The gal behind the counter was so nice and helpful. Sweet little spot I have had my eye on for a while now. I stopped in to this small location which is very small to grab some empanadas home as a snack. The woman behind the counter was a pleasure to deal with and was really helpful in explaining all of the different flavors they offer. I really liked the beef and the chicken and cheese empanadas. All were good, although I think my least favorite was the spinach feta. It was somehow really heavy and did not sit well in my stomach, probably because it was "mushy." I want to say that the woman working behind the register popped my empanadas in the microwave, but please correct me if I'm wrong. A toaster oven of some sort would have been more ideal, to refresh the puff pastry and melt any cheese. That seemed reasonable for 4 dollar charge but we only received one for each order. Product came in crappy packaging with no way of know what our LARGE order for a group of coworkers had inside. Some people don't eat meat some do and we had no idea what was what. They put it all in the same box with no labeling or anything. Immediately you can taste the lack of effort in this famous and easy dish. 100% made by a white man with no culinary skill. The dough is not true empanada dough and you can tell by now it's not flakey and is too soft. The filling has no method they just cook food and throw it in side. The spinach and feta had extra ingredients not listed so we just threw them out because they tasted sour. Eggplant was disgusting. Philly cheese stake, the filling was only okay. Chorizo and potato was good but nothing special and the spice pallet is lacking big time. Will never come back here and I wish I could give Zero stars read more

I found the beef alone was dry but with the sauce, delicious. I liked the guava cream cheese much better than the mango cream cheese. The rest were good but the proportions of ingredients were a bit off in them, like too much ricotta in the calzone or not enough cheese in the philly cheese. Stuff like that. No big deal. We happened to be driving by on our way to go shopping and decided to stop in. It's a tiny space but big on flavor. I am used to fried empanadas so this was a bit different being baked but I loved them. Hands down my favorite was the Cuban - stuffed with pork, ham, pickles and mustard. Delicious!!! I ordered from Empanada Factory through Ubereats. 4 empanadas and 2 coffees. When my order came - it came incomplete. When I called to report it - I was told by Ashley - that I would have to go in to either be refunded or pick up my missing empanadas. As you can imagine I was highly annoyed - why pay the $5 driving fee (for Ubereats) when it was their (Empanada Factory) fault my order was incomplete. I called back demanding someone bring me my empanada or money - Ashley nastily answered back there's nothing she can do. I was beyond livid and told her - fine I'll be there to see her. She then called me back to apologize for the way she answered me & stated she genuinely cannot do anything. When I arrived she greeted my very politely & offered to give us 6 free empanadas for the big mix up. I really like their empanadas, but the big problem with this place is that they never get my order right. Today marks the 6th time I've ordered from them, and have had to drive back to the store because they gave me a completely different order than I asked for. That experience, by the way, was not very cared for by the employee. I asked for 3 beef, 4 chicken, 1 taylor ham egg and cheese. I received 2 bacon, 2 chicken, 2 beef, 1 buffalo chicken, 1 cuban, and 1 guava. Makes absolutely no sense. They clearly need a better way to take in orders, properly sort and label the empanada boxes. The empanadas are too expensive to not receive what you order.
