The to go order of emperor's shrimp was the worst thing I have had, the broccoli was like something that was cooked about a week ago the emperor shrimp balls were dry,hard and stale. The wantons in the soup were not firm and had a color to them that I have never seen before and the egg rolls were burnt, for the price I paid was not worth it. Would not recommend it to anyone, it seems to me that the quality of the food has gone down and it will take me a long time before I would go back for another meal. read more

A good place to Eat in large groups. Food is great and the staff keep it clean. Definitely recommend the beef and broccoli, though if you hate mushrooms might want to ask the waiter to remove them from the order. Egg rolls are big too, so definitely worth the price. read more

Did not like the fact that everything is sold separately. General chicken alone 14.95 no rice or soup if I order rice and egg drop soup it would've totaled 25.95 for one person for one plate. Completely ridiculous and not a meal I would've enjoyed knowing I paid such a high price. read more

My son and I took my wife here for Mother's Day, her choice. This was our first time dining here. I was skeptical of the place after all the negative reviews and ratings. Our experience was a total contrast to those reviews. The restaurant was clean, orderly, spacious and plenty of staff working to wait on customers. The service was great, fast and friendly. The food was delicious, great flavor and their prices are very reasonable for the surprisingly large meal portions. We ordered the orange chicken with lomein, the beef and chicken lomein and the tso chicken lomein. We each ordered a plate, we should've ordered two plates instead and shared. Their egg rolls are ginormous and so good. Manager Eddie and his staff made us feel welcome, and he took the time to come to our table and asked how our food and service was. I complimented him on the quality and taste of the food and our waiter was very attentive and checked on us often. Being mother's day, they served my wife a delightful complimentary dessert. One star for lack of integrity. This place is emperor's garden NOT EMPEROR GARDEN and is not related to the original EMPEROR GARDEN in any way shape or form. I am confused that the owner of emperor's garden would tell me, to my face, that the previous owner visits this restaurant to make sure everything is as the original restaurant used to be. There is no previous owner because this is not the same place, nor does it have the same name, there is a reason why it has a different name. What is the purpose of lying to the public? It is the service and the food that makes the customer want to return to the restaurant. I think it is great that you want to go out and try to make something work, lord knows restaurants are not an easy business. Just remember that a restaurant's reputation is built on service and quality, not a name. If you want to be like EMPEROR GARDEN you have to work like EMPEROR GARDEN, and that starts with creating something on your own, putting in an honest day's work, and looking at the customer in the eye and telling him "I made this place, and it is only mine", no need to lie to get ahead.
