I was told my appointment was 2:15 and that they had confirmed with me on Friday. I said I never got a confirmation call and when they checked, they had not been able to reach me. I knew this as I was on vacation and had no service. Anyway, 4 people in waiting room, so I asked how long it would be. I was told if I wanted to go shop and come back that would be fine. I asked to reschedule and she did, but then added that the Dr may charge me a late cancellation fee of $50 I said I didn't cancel, I rescheduled and I will not be paying for my appointment being delayed. I left with my August appointment card in hand. No sooner did I get home when the office called and said they were cancelling my August appointment and charging me $50. I say good luck on that collection. Even their cancellation policy says nothing about rescheduling.

You need to make sure you shave really well before laser hair removal because the laser needs to find the hair follicle under the skin to zap it. I always bring a razor with me and the person doing my treatment will tell me if I missed a spot so I can get it. I started going here after getting a Groupon. When I found out that I could get the same low prices without having to get the Groupon. This place is highly effective and a bargain. I've been out as a queer/lesbian woman with all of the staff members had. Everyone has been really positive. During my last treatment, I had a great conversation about trans issues with one of the staff members. She told me that trans women come in to get treatments and asked me a couple of questions about trans issues after I encouraged her to do so. I feel very comfortable coming here as a queer woman, but am cis-gendered. So I do not have first-hand feedback on what it is like to get a treatment while trans.

After about 6 months was experiencing some pain, returned to Lenahan, saw PA. Her suggestion was to go to same Plastic Surgeon who she KNEW there was a problem with and seemed quite entertained by it. Kept asking if I needed his #. Found another Plastic Surgeon on my own, but needed a referral. After lots of calls trying get that done, they got a referral and gave me an appointment for a year later, Must have been some referral. Funny thing, went a different Dermatology Office, who sent me to an ENT who called SAME Plastic Surgeon and got an appointment in 2 weeks. Do NOT appreciate having my health screwed with.
