I had the most ridiculous phone conversation regarding changing my appointment for a skin check. Because I couldn't make my appointment for September 2, 2022 I would not be able to reschedule a new appointment until DECEMBER 2023 -15 months later. This is despite knowing that they've removed three skin cancer spots in the recent years. Seems to me like there's something seriously wrong with a dermatology practice that books out that far. I WAS a patient at this clinic for many years and will now need to find a new provider for my dermatology needs. I had originally chosen this office because my previous office did not allow to ask questions other than the appointment scheduled. Financially, Neiman was much more expensive but since I make appointments for all of my children, I stuck with Neiman. However, I was discharged as a patient for missing an esthetician appointment due to a scheduling mistake, without so much as a reminder or confirmation. Perhaps they only send reminders through text but I had to stop text messaging because the spam was too much. The appointment was made so long ago that I cannot say for sure whether it was my own error inputting it into my calendar or theirs. Probably mine. This was the second time I've shown up at the building for an appointment and my appointment wasn't found. I have not had any issues like this with any other medical provider. I was also not very happy with never seeing the actual doctor after the first appointment but that is becoming a common practice so no stars off for that. I do not recommend this office. read more

I've been coming here since college for my derm needs and I see Hillary for my yearly skin check. I love the recently upgraded paperwork experience (iPad!). The staff here is always friendly, the facility is clean, and it's a quick and painless experience. I am always impressed by the flow of the appointment-I get in the room, someone comes in about 5 minutes, they take photos to document everything and monitor changes, and voila! There are usually a few samples of healthy skin products available before you check out, too! read more

From John the office manager, to Dr. Shehata, to David my incredible surgical technician, each Neiman representative was courteous, experienced, highly skilled, and extremely professional. After thoroughly discussing my options and the pros and cons of each approach, John and Dr. Shehata recommended FUE. At every step of the way, they were completely candid, and did a great job of managing my expectations. Dr. Shehate and David performed the surgery, and it was a great success! Three months on, I am already noticing significant new hair growth...and I'm still a few months away from the full results. Overall, I could not be happier with this team. I also see Lauren for laser hair removal. They have excellent equipment there and offer discounts for packages. Having gone somewhere else that was cheaper from a groupon, I now realize with that you really get what you pay for and when it comes to a laser on my skin, I'll pay more! I am a newer patient of Lisa Ball's, and I am so incredibly gratedul to have finally found a thoughtful and compassionate dermatologist after many years of searching. I have been to numerous dermatologists office's to address my acne over the last 10 years, and have never been fully satisfied with the office personnel or the provider I have seen. The last office I went to (WNY Dermatology in Williamsville), was not in any way personable and I never saw the provider for more than 15 minutes, even at my intial appointment. I continued there for a short time to see if the regimen they prescribed me would work, but I was left disappointed by the unthoughtfulness of the evaluation and how impersonal the staff were. This led me to explore other providers in the north towns, where I came across Neiman Dermatology. Lisa Bell has been very kind and thoughtful while I have been under her care, and I have seen substantial progress in my skin condition. I have been so happy with Neiman Dermatology that I have referred 2 of my friends who now see Lisa Ball, and have referred another. Least knowledgeable dermatologist I've ever been to, a bit stuck in his ways. Saw him as a young person (18-20), and then some years later (27), after treatments had advanced for my condition. He was in the dark both times, and suggested we used methods from years prior that had shown they did not work. He listened to my concerns and made suggestions that were helpful and even took into account my budget- as I just had a baby and don't want to spend a ton each month on skincare. He did not push any unnecessary products on me and even told me where I could get a similar product with the same ingredients at ¼ of the cost. Dr. Neiman was extremely rude and did not seem like he listened to a word of what I was trying to say when I was trying to explain the issues I was seeing him for. His staff was rude as well. My third appointment there they took me into an exam room where I sat alone for over 45 minutes waiting for the doctor to eventually see me. Once Dr. Neiman came in he brought with him 3 other people (medical students I believe) which I was fine with until I was walking out of the exam room after the appointment and I hear that same group of doctors talking loudly about the appointment and my conditions in the doorway of the waiting room. The staff was rude and unprofessional, and the doctor was as well. He also gave me sub par treatment and didn't put any time or effort into the diagnoses or treatment. They do not send you reminders of appointments or confirmation calls either, which resulted in me missing an appointment and being charged $50. I will never go back to that office. No aspect of my experience with that practice was good except for one appointment I had with a PA. read more

Refused to return phone calls regarding a bill that I had to call 3x and when i asked why my call was never returned Sue in billing told me that she doesn't "bother" returning those types of calls.
