On January 10, 2026, I called Wilson Brothers to report that I had no heat. Their first service visit was on January 12, 2026, followed by several additional visits over the next several weeks. The service involved issues with the flame sensor, burner control module and control board. On January 27, the technician spent approximately 45 minutes trying to reach technical support because he was unable to connect the burner control. During another visit, additional time was spent trying to reach technical support regarding the control board. I was extremely frustrated with how long it was taking to get my boiler properly working. February 9, 2026 was the last time Wilson Brothers came to my home. After that, I had reached the point where I no longer had confidence in the situation and decided to have another heating company diagnose the boiler. On April 22, 2026, another heating company came to my home and performed a diagnostic inspection. I paid $325 for that service. They provided me with a detailed written report explaining what they found. Their written report stated that the boiler system was improperly programmed and that the circuit board had been incorrectly configured by the previous service provider. The report also stated that the heating curve was set at 1.6 and that they increased it to 2.2 to allow the boiler to better respond to the home's heating needs. I was very pleased with this company's work. However, their cost was more than I could afford for another inspection, so on August 25, 2026, I hired another reputable and more affordable heating company to inspect the boiler. I was also very satisfied with their work. During that inspection, they found a broken burner gasket and burner gauge assembly. I am currently waiting to find out whether these parts will be covered under the warranty. This boiler was new when Wilson Brothers installed it in 2021, and the five-year warranty expires September 15, 2026. Nearly five years after installation, I am still dealing with problems with this boiler. I have spent a considerable amount of time, money and frustration trying to get a heating system that I expected to work reliably. I repeatedly contacted Wilson Brothers trying to get answers and have the problems resolved. Unfortunately, I ultimately reached the point where I no longer felt comfortable relying on them and had to bring in other heating professionals to determine what was happening with my boiler. I am posting this review because I believe homeowners deserve to know about my experience before making a decision about who they trust with a major heating system. I sincerely hope that sharing my experience prevents someone else from going through what I am still dealing with.

E/R Electric (Eddie Rodgriguez) was the electrical subcontractor for my bathroom renovation project and installed a Panasonic Whisper-quiet exhaust fan with heater. He instructed my wife and I to "never run the heater and the exhaust fan simultaneously or you will burn up the motor". I should have questioned this at the time but was busy dealing with other major issues with the renovation. Well.. after the fan burned up for accidentally switching both on at the same time, I called a local electrician since we had other electrical work in the house to be done. The electrician who responded had to do a bit of research including discussing the issue on the phone with Panasonic customer support, and ultimately determined that the fan was wired incorrectly and installed with two hot wires connected (one for each the heater and exhaust) instead of a single hot wire to both as clearly spelled out in the wiring instructions for this fan. As this is a $400 fan, my new electrician suggested we reach out to E/R Electric, as he assumed it would save me money in parts and labor, fully expecting that Eddie Rodriguez would want to know he installed it incorrectly and fix the problem out of professional courtesy. Well this was the only thing my new electrician was wrong about, as Eddie reacted like a real jerk instead-- he refused to come and look at the issue, refused to speak to my new electrician, and basically just refused to be a decent person let alone a professional. So I paid nearly $2000 to have this repaired by the new electrician who was shocked at the response I received. He also found electrical code violations by E/R including multiple buried / hidden junction boxes and other technical shortfalls. Hopefully Eddie reads this and will learn to install these correctly, because now that the fan is wired correctly we CAN run the exhaust fan and heater simultaneously after all!! The entire situation and findings were so shocking that my new electrician has suggested I file a complaint with the state licensing board, which I am considering. Bottom line...DO NOT USE THIS ELECTRICIAN.

The communication was excellent -- easy to reach, quick responses, and everything was explained in a way that made sense. The work was completed right on schedule, and the results were clean and professional. One thing I really appreciated was the option for a virtual consult -- it made things move much faster and helped set clear expectations. Definitely felt like I was in good hands. Would absolutely reach out again for future projects.

I also really liked that I could schedule online on Jon's website to make it easier to align my schedule with his availability on my own time. In short, excellent customer service up front and through the whole process start to finish. He might not be the cheapest, and definitely not the most expensive, but it is reasonable and he provides fixed-pricing which he sticks to as long as scope doesn't change. He also pulls all necessary permits and has passed all inspections with flying colors. Jon has now completed two projects for us. About 6 months ago, he installed new bathroom fans in 4 bathrooms and he recently installed an Electric Vehicle charger in our garage (along with a 60 AMP breaker to support it). I received a word-of-mouth recommendation from my neighbors who had Jon perform a much larger project which included significant re-wiring of their entire house, as well as a new breaker panel among other items. Another neighbor had Jon install a bathroom fan as well as some other work. They could not say enough good things about him and they were 100% right. I have nothing but praise for his work quality. I am one of those customers that likes to do a lot of research up front before I buy items for my house. Jon was patient during my bathroom fan researching as well as my EV charger purchasing and provided me his input as-needed. He let me buy my own fans and charger to ensure I got the items that I wanted. Along with all the excellent electrical work that he performed, he also makes sure to check in with the homeowners if there are unexpected decisions that need to be made during his process and he does not push "the expensive option". There were some moments where he had to cut into drywall and he warned me up front that he does not fix drywall (no electrician does). A big bonus goes to his patience, not just with homeowners, but with my kids too. One of my kiddos had a ton of questions and Jon took the time to talk to him and explain how everything worked and some of the fundamentals of electricity (and safety around electricity). Attaching a few photos of the EV Charger. The Bathroom fans just look like bathroom fans (not interesting).
