On 5/18/26 I put a $500 deposit on a new 2026 Ford F150 XLT with the Black Appearance Package Plus at Empire Ford of Huntington. The black package is a chrome delete option you pay extra for. Black 20" wheels, painted body color bumpers and black badging. The salesman, Fred Marotti, showed me the truck. It was parked under a tree at there service department back lot. The truck was filthy. He promised the truck would be spotless at delivery. I told him I wanted no dealership badging on my truck other than a license plate frame. On 5/29/26 my wife and I went to pick the truck up. We went out to see the truck. Both side panels on the box had scratches from the tree branches where the truck was stored. The driver's door had two chips in the paint on the edge. The front bumper was scratched. The FX4 decal on the bed had a scratch. The bed was dirty and filled with leaves and branches. When I pointed them out to Fred Marotti his response was "I will order you a bottle of touch up paint". The imbecile actually thought I was going to hand paint chips and scratches on a brand new $67,925 truck. I then looked down to see that the idiot drilled through the wheel lip openings on the back two fenders and the inner wheel wells. He mounted two cheap chrome mud flaps with large rubber extensions behind the rear wheels. Of course they had Empire Ford logos on both. These were the hideous mud flaps you see on commercial dump trucks and landscaping trucks. We were in shock. I told him he voided the sale and we wanted our deposit back. We went into the showroom. He wrote out a cancellation of sale receipt which he signed. He told us the $500 refund would appear back in our account within 5-10 business days. We never got it. I called him and he would not return our calls. I called his manager, Sam Greene. He saw the refund was never issued. He promised he would submit it within 24 hours. He didn't. I tried calling him at the dealership. He wouldn't take my call or return my message. He used his receptionist, Elaine, as a shield to intercept my calls. I have filed a dispute with my bank and credit card company. My advice to anyone interested in buying a Ford is avoid Empire Ford of Huntington. Erica is the worst person working at this place. Our car had a fluttery motor and needed to be towed to the nearest Lincoln facility. She told me that they will only service vehicles that are bought from the facility itself, and refused to give us a rental car. What kind of service does this??? We paid so much for the roadside assistance package and they won't even help us out??? Said it will be two months before our car can even be serviced there. This woman was so rude! There have been a lot of negative reviews about this place, so I wanted to showcase a very pleasant visit today to check out the new Ford Bronco, with hopes of working with the staff to reach a deal with trade in. Although this was just a exploring mission, the customer service for me was wonderful. Besides the fact of arriving and people yelling at the front desk girl to answer the phone when she wasn't there. I was greeted by a very friendly and personable agent, Jeanette, who was courteous, and friendly/attentive. Not pushy or overbearing by any means. We looked at the models, talked about what I was looking for, discussed was on the lot, and also got a chance to test drive the Badlands model which is an incredible car, a little too pricy for me at the moment but maybe we'll reach a deal. I was looking to trade in my current car to help with the price, but the offer that was made was too low for my taste, I feel I could do better elsewhere. So my overall experience here was very pleasant and enjoyable. They are COVID safe, everyone masked, hand sanitizers at desks, and everything clean and tidy. I was sold a brand new vehicle with massive misrepresentations of its capabilities and what came with it, and they seem to care less. This after they did not prep the vehicle for delivery (at all, it was filthy and still had all the shipping stickers and films on it), unfueled, and over an hour late for the scheduled delivery time on the day they selected. A dealership that is clearly unfamiliar with their product and what it comes with, and that takes the customer so for granted that they do not even bother to prep their vehicle. There are so many great dealers out there who realize what customer service is and care about ensuring their customer is happy - as a person who found our the hard way which reviews to believe, I suggest that you find a dealer with less 1 star horror stories. read more

If you are looking to sold a LEMON from a dealership...and then have to deal with an incompetent dealership then this is the spot! They have had my car for consecutively OVER 2 months now....haven't fixed the issue and just give the runaround. I don't get calls about the progress nor do I get returned calls from my terrible service advisor Robert Caccio or even the service manager. I guess because there isn't any. After not getting my messages returned I show up and I'm told they will likely have it done by the end of the day.....well the end of the day came and once again no call and the car is not finished. Seriously incompetent. I was told that this isn't bad as they have cars there for 7 MONTHS stuck in service....7 MONTHS. Imagine buying a car and not having it for 7 months. I was not even given a comparable vehicle as a loaner. Pay close to $900/month for a car and get put in a vehicle that's about $440/month. This is now close to 160 days of my vehicle being stuck in service in 1.5 years at this incompetent dealership. Now I'm being told by the dealership manager David Toomey that they will need their loaner back without them even giving me back my vehicle in working condition! How is that even allowed? None of the safety features work..they claim they can't reprogram it yet I still make payments on my vehicle that is out of commission. I'm absolutely appalled by this treatment from both Ford and this dealership. LESSON LEARNED NEVER BUY A FORD AND NEVER GET IT SERVICED HERE. read more

Poor quality car and even worse service. I leased a 2020 Aviator. What a mistake!! It's been serviced for a leaky sunroof 5 times in the 2 1/2 years I've had this car. Each time it was "fixed" it would be in the shop for a minimum of 4 weeks each time totaling 20 weeks. That's 20 weeks of using a loaner. And I still had to pay my lease. 2 weeks ago, the axel on the car broke and the sun roof is leaking yet again.The dealership didn't have a loaner for this new issue and now they are only willing to give me 1 month back on the lease for what is 5 months of not being able to drive the car. Oh, and my lease isn't up until August and it's in the shop AGAIN! read more

We told him we wanted to just get prices for the least expensive lease... I am on a budget. He kept talking in circles and made us go outside to test drive (even though we didn't want to) then was clicking the button and the car was not even in the lot. We go back inside, annoyed at this point and just ask a final time to give us a quote or we are leaving. The salesman was not very helpful in explaining the options. He was unfamiliar with his own inventory. The truck I had made an appointment was not at the dealer-it was at a remote site. When I asked the salesman could I see it he said "Why, do you want to touch it?" When I said yes, I would at least like to sit inside it he said it was a mile away in a remote lot and I would have to go there on my own. When I got there I spent 45 minutes looking for the truck until a helpful tech found it for me (it was actually in a different lot-the remote lot had a remote lot). This tech, a guy named Ray, earned this dealership the 2 stars-without him the would have gotten a 1. Very disappointed in this dealership. My sister specifically asked if a certain car was available for sale which She was assured (in writing) that it was. She didn't want to end up in a "bait and switch" situation so I she specifically asked the salesman (John) numerous times if he was sure he could sell her the car that they had "on order". I bought a pre-certified Lincoln about 3 weeks ago. My sales man was Vincent Visceglia. I am so disappointed with my experience. From the beginning I felt as though he just wanted me to buy the car and didn't care about anything else. Let's start off with what was promised. I was promised a FULL BUMPER TO BUMPER COVERAGE. As soon as I am signing the papers I find out that what Vincent said was untrue. They do not offer bumper to bumper coverage to pre-certified cars, why was I lied to? They only offer limited bumper to bumper. If you come to this dealership make sure you get EVERYTHING IN WRITING. My car did not come with a owners manual. After calling the dealership multiple times and waiting for a call back saying they will get it to me (I never got it) I needed the key pad code for the car. After calling the shop again I was able to speak to a manager Mike Vonacolus (not sure if that is correct spelling). He said "oh yea I'll call you back" did I ever receive a call? NO The day after deciding to purchase this car and after signing papers work. Vincent texts me and asked if I would consider the same car with another interior color. There was someone else who wanted the car I signed for. Why would I want another car, if that is the car I wanted from the beginning? He also called geico without me present to change the date of purchase. To top it off when I finally signed paper and the deal was done. Vincent asked me to write him a yelp review. Because he will then receive $25 ARE YOU KIDDING ME, no thanks. Overall I love my car. But I would recommend anyone else to not shop from the dealership or get everything in writing before your purchase. read more

Went in to buy a new Truck the other day. I own a roofing & Chimney Business and do some snow plowing in the winter. I also perform various tree service jobs throughout the year as I like chainsaw work! So I have two F350's and 1 f150. My personal f350 is getting fairly beat up so it is time to move on........ I wanted to test drive one or two, but I never even got the chance to EXAMINE ONE. I waited about 5 minutes after a secretary asked if she could help me..... She took my name and told me to wait over there and pointed to a counter with some sirius xm brochures on it. No seats or anything, just a dirty counter with someones used peanuts (still in the open planters bag) . I was then taken to a salesmans desk (wont mention his name because he was a nice guy - just not really interested in selling me that day) and he flipped through a spiral binder. Told me he didn't have any regular cab trucks - hard to find he said. Told me that they never come in on trades even if I wanted a used one (I wasn't averse to something used)....... Instead of getting me excited about buying a new truck, he told me to go home and "build" one on the ford website (I told him I did that already) and come back later with $2000 for a retainer or whatever. Then MAYBE in ten weeks I could pick up the truck I even told this man that I had about 15k from plowing this winter, in cash, that I would like to put down to keep my monthly payments low. Still, no LETS GO CHECK OUT WHAT WE HAVE IN STOCK AND SEE IF YOU MIGHT LIKE It- I was literally SENT HOME. My girlfriend asked me why I looked sad and I told her I was just thrown out of a dealership. I WAS THE BIGGEST FAN of Ford Trucks until I got this treatment at the dealership, and i blame the MANAGEMENT So basically I wasn't allowed or invited to test drive anything, just told to go home and do his job - Then come back and give him money. Why would I want to buy a new Ford F350 without even testing one out? Maybe I would like the diesel - IF I GOT TO DRIVE ONE! Next stop the closest Chevy or Dodge dealer. I have purchased two new cars from this dealership in the past 13 months, and have never felt so used and unwanted. I had an issue with the extended warranty on the 2019 Ecosport that I purchased last month. I made several calls to the dealership, sent a certified letter and an email requesting that the policy be cancelled within the 30 day period, but never received a response. As a last resort, I drove to the dealership to personally cancel the policy. I was repeatedly lied to by the two finance representatives concerning termination fees, the nature of my previous contact, and the necessity to take a picture of the mileage. The finance woman made snarky comments that just because I sent a certified letter to the dealership concerning a warranty didn't mean I should have a belief that she saw it. After getting physically thrown out of the dealership, I spoke to Ford Protect directly, and they are working with me to cancel the add-on warranty. They also agreed that the dealership had told me incorrect information. This has been the absolute worst car experience I have ever had, and it wasn't even about the car itself.
