Nearly everyone, from ownership, to sales and management is almost as intelligent as what's left on the drain after a homeless man wonders into your house for a shower. A very unpleasant experience 2 weeks ago at Bright Bay when my family and I were closing the purchase of a certified pre-owned Navigator Black Label. After purchasing 2 vehicles with Bright Bay, the sales team was unwilling to work with us to carve out a mutually agreeable price. After a brief time out, my family and I decided to not purchase the vehicle to which the salesman mumbled , "Unbelievable", under his breath and rolled his eyes. I have never experienced such poor attitude and treatment from any salesperson, especially a luxury dealer such as Lincoln. We spoke with his manager after this exchange and his manager further re-iterated they had no leeway in price negotiation and was apprised of his sales team's behavior. He did apologize and refunded us our down deposit promptly. Super sad because we loved the car and would have been willing to look at another Navigator (our second choice) in the lot but were so disappointed with the salesman's behavior and the dealership's inability to honor long-term customer loyalty. I am intentionlly leaving out the name of the salesman hoping her is receiving mentorship from an experienced Lincoln salesman- he requires much grooming! Thankfully, we have found another Black Label Navigator at at dealer that was very willing to work with us and provide some service recovery for the Lincoln product. During the time of this purchase at another dealer, Jim, the store manager, called and requested to understand the events that transpired during our failed purchase. He listened and humbly apologized for my family's experience. I found Bright Bay Lincoln to be very untruthful in everything they told me when I purchased a Lincoln MKX along with its extended warranty. They were untruthful and extremely rude. They lied about a loan me car about service about picking up cars and delivering them they told me what I wanted to hear when purchasing the car. Corporation takes no action against these dealerships and they are allowed to get away with their dishonesty. I know I will never purchase another Lincoln again not only from Bright Bay but from any other Lincoln dealership. If the calling Bright Bay a number of times trying to make an appointment they told me they would call me back and let me know when there was a car available neither Tom the manager ever returned my phone calls. Purchased brand new 2024 Lincoln Nautilus in March. The sales team was very helpful and made sure we were satisfied. A week after getting the car home issues arose and have been trying to get service since. I have called 6 times, talked to different people, all except one was rude and basically customer ignorant. The one person who answered the phone appropriately and seemed to want to help, Darin, said he would call me back in a day to arrange the pick up. He never called. I called the dealer twice today leaving my number expecting a call back. Never came. I would never recommend this service department and now seeing if Smithtown Lincoln will assist. In the summer of 2011, I purchased a used car from this car dealer. The car was on the lot, like most of their used cars, with no price. The car was priced several thousand dollars over book value. When we finally agreed on the price, I got one key to the car and basically no 30 day warranted as agreed. I later found out the prior owner of the car, who lived 3 miles away, still had the other keys to the car. The prior owner was "good friends" with the car dealer, yet they were unable to get the $250 key from the prior owner. I ended up in small claims with this dealer. The Manager did not show up in court. The case was settled, with the dealer paying for the other keys. The issue, that could have been solved when I purchased the car. I later had to re-key the whole car and get item repaired at my own expense. I would not recommend this place for buying a car, and I would not buy a car at Bright Bay Lincoln again. The people in customer service are rude. Bottom Line.... Beware of this car dealer. Update 8/2014 I read the Manager's comments. What a nut job. The original Manager did not show up at small claim court, because "he was no longer with the company". When I saw the car on the lot, it had no price sticker. I called the dealer and asked the price. They told me I had to come in for the price. I did my Kelly Blue book research before going to the dealer and the dealer price was $4k above Kelly Blue Book. I left the dealer and they called me back saying they would do the deal at my terms. I was told of the prior owner of the car by the dealer, when the issue of the one key came up. I turned over my 3 keys for my car, and they gave me one key for the car. This car usually comes with 4 keys. That's how we got into the key dispute. I never harassed the prior owner. The prior owner tried to sell the car on CL prior, and I saw the ad and asked about the other keys to the car. The prior owner had an issue with this car dealer also. All the dealer had to do, was to have a duplicate key made for $250. No......I had to take Bright Bay Auto to small claims court, and the dealer paid for the 4 keys after all. Something any reasonable dealer would have done. This dealer, Bright Bay Auto, is bad news. Buy a car there, is a gamble. Do you feel lucky? Good luck. In regard to the Dealers Comment. The car was listed on CL by the owner, and thats how I got the owner contact information. The owner of the car listed the car on CL prior to trading the car in to this dealer. The prior owner was pissed at the Dealer because they low balled him on this trade in, they had the car on the lot for a much higher pice then they told the owner they could get for the car. If you trade in your car, you are suppose to surrender both keys. This dealer is into playing games. In service for a Ford motor company recall issue # 15N05. This involves a power break electric pump failure issue that causes the power breaks to fail at initial start up. The recall or what ford calls an extended warranty is posted all over the internet. Know one in this service department knows anything about it. Have been here for 1 1/2 hours. Finaly got the store manager to reluctantly take 8 min. Of his time to watch an online video explaining the issue and what ford motor company is doing to correct it. After he called ford technical service and checked the mileage on my truck he confirmed that I am eligible for the recall. Service technician that was assigned my repair again had to look it up and print out the service procedures and parts needed to repair since he never heard of this before. After making an appointment with the service manager two weeks ago, I get here to find that know one knows about this, they don't have the parts and the service manager is on vacation. Its astonishing that an independent service tech. Knows all about this issue, including what causes it and how to repair it, but know one at bright bay knows about it. The service tech just informed me that the parts they ordered are the wrong ones. So here I sit and wait. Update to earlier post. Its now been 4 hours for a job I was told would take about 2. Still waiting. New update. It is now 1:58 and I just got home from 8:30 a.m.. They replaced the parts and immediately came to me and said now the brake peddle is hard and breaks not working at all. Said I must have driven it to them like that and now that the warranty repair has been done and it didn't fix the issue I don't want to pay for further repairs they feel are needed. They wanted to charge me to replace the entire powerbrake booster. I went to the dealer manager Jim Jaeger and explained what was going on. He said there records show that I've never come to them for service before and now I expect them to fix the problem for free. I produced 4 service print outs on there letter head totaling in excess of 1,500. As the conversation continued the service rep came in and said everything is ok, it just needed to build up pressure. Manager Jim says well there you go, everything is ok. I guess you can say that and overlook all that went on today. I do not like being accused of lying about the condition of the vehicle when I dropped it off in order to weasel a free repair out of them. If I hadn't had past experiences like this with them I probably would have just paid them god knows what to replace the booster. read more

The had bounce that Michael the sales person was very knowledgeable and friendly, not pushy just simply shared all the goods that the car had, you can tell that he loves the car and all of its features. When it came to the financing, I came across Dina, she takes her time to share with you all of your options, but then she breaks down your own personal situation that pertains only to you. Taking the time to do my own research with my bank and credit union, every bit of information that she shared with me was verified with my own personal banking institutions. I helped my parents lease a 2017 Lincoln MKX in November 2017. We shopped for Cadillacs and Chevys and also at another Lincoln dealer. We decided on Bright Bay because not only did they give us the best price but they were the nicest, kindest, most knowledgeable, and PATIENT sales team. My parents are 77 and 74 and haven't had a new vehicle in 16+ years and the sales team was very accommodating to them and didn't pressure us one bit. To be honest it was a breath of fresh air. John and Tom and Benny made us feel like family. We liked them so much we got their MKX from Bright Bay instead of the Lincoln dealer less than a mile from where my parents live. After the deal was done John spent almost 45 mins in the new MKX with my parents showing them how to do every little thing. I returned my leased 2017 Lincloln MKZ for a 2019 MKZ in November 2019. I was offered an early bird trade in as I had one payment left on the 2017 lease. I was told by the salesperson and the finance manager that the last payment would be paid to Lincoln Finance by Bright Bay. One month later I get a letter from Lincoln Finance saying I owe $399 from my 2017 MKZ lease (the last payment that Bright Bay was supposed to pay). I called Lincoln Finance and explained the early bird deal but told them I would stop by the dealership to find out why they hadn't paid. I did that and was promised it was an "oversight" and would be taken care of.....2 months later, in March 2020, I get a call from Lincoln Finance (super nice woman) and I was told the $399 is outstanding! Again, I contact Bright Bay to find out whats going on and they tell me that Lincoln Finance sent Bright Bay the $399 (God knows how that happened) but Bright Bay NEVER SENT IT BACK TO LINCOLN FINANCE....fast forward to June 8 2020, I finally get a letter from Lincoln Finance telling me the 2017 MKZ lease is now paid and my account is cleared. For 6 months this dealership had me chasing them down to pay Lincoln the last payment on a car I did not have and was returned as an early bird. Wait...the drama continues with this dealership....today June 12 2020, I get a letter from my insurance company telling me they are NOT going to renew my auto policy because BRIGHT BAY did not send them the window sticker and the bill of sale on the new 2019 lease from back in November 2019 ! In NYS the insurance company must know that the car they are insuring is either NEW or USED...a new car requires the window sticker and the bill of sale and I was present in the dealership when the salesperson was on the phone with the insurance company transferring the insurance from the 2017 MKZ to the the 2019 MKZ and I heard the insurance agent tell him that the window sticker and the bill of sale needed to by faxed or emailed to them ! Again, I was assured this would be taken care of ! NOT!!!!! Now, since its 6 months later, I have to take my NEW car for a photo inspection so I can continue my insurance coverage...now its my problem because the dealership did not do what they were supposed to do! When this new lease is up, I will promptly return the car and run away from Bright Bay. I will never lease from them again... On a side note, they have the best service department so that is really too bad...I will miss the professionalism and courtesy I received when I brought my 2019 MKZ there for routine service. read more

We wouldn't lease a Lincoln from any other dealer for two main reasons: 1) no hard sell tactics- they are the utmost professionals and will work with you to get the best possible deal- Domenick Babbo was great in helping us pick our new car and went out of his way to make sure we got the one we wanted; 2) Bright Bay has the best service center around- they are unbelievably considerate and really care about you- Janice is the best!. I bought an MKX July of 2016. I should have done my homework a little better so I paid too much for the vehicle. My issue. BUT, if you think Dominic is someone you can trust when you get there you should think again!! He was fine when he sold me the vehicle and assured me that he would always be there if I should have any issues. Well that was a lie. This January I had to take my car in (thankfully it was CPOd) and at least seven visits later (they couldn't figure out was wrong with it) going through April it finally was fixed. In March I reached out to Dominic because the situation was ridiculous and he assured me he would look into it and get back to me ASAP and never did. Totally blew me off, even knowing how disappointed I was. Then recently I called him up again. Mistake. I wanted to perhaps upgrade to a lease. He again told me he would get back to me quickly and four days later still nothing. Dominic is typical dealership scam artist. As long as Dominic can make the deal he's fine but doesn't want to have to go out of his way too much for it. SO disappointing. I gave one star because there's nothing lower. read more
