After the carpet removal I discovered numerous saggy areas in the subfloor (Lennar and their subcontractors used low quality subfloor wood) that Dolphin's crew was not capable of fixing. I halted the job and got in contact with Yunior, who came over to give an estimate and I hired him. Yunior and his assistant were on time and replaced about a dozen subfloor panels in a single day! He came to my house and made the repairs leaving the walls unfinished needing better sanding and corners were terrible completely uneven. He left chunks of compound all over my floors stairs and bathroom. He left all unused and cuts of drywall in my kitchen. He did not take any of the garbage with him nor did he clean. I called him on a Friday to complain asking him to come clean the mess and he told me he could not make it until Monday at 4pm. I told him I needed it cleaned urgent as I had other jobs going on in my house but he did not respond. He called me today Monday to come in the afternoon and I told him he had to repair the walls that were not done correctly and said I would have to wait that he did not have time. I complained again and he said he did not like my tone and hung up the phone and blocked me. Obviously my mistake I paid this person 100% of the job already. I have contacted an attorney to report him with DBPR. Once again please do not hire this person.

We wanted to have our whole house stuccoed as well as having termite and water damaged wood replaced and having the area stuccoed to remove future exposure to the elements and pests. His crew Darrel, Terry, and Pat are also truly hard workers and very personable, working cleanly and professionally. Everyday they would make sure the area was tidy picking up trash/debris from the work and going above and beyond when pressure washing. They even cleaned the walkways which was an unexpected benefit and perk to choosing a quality team that truly cares about what they do. The job ended up being a lot more intensive in the aspect of wood replacement and Steve assured us he would do quality work and not leave us hanging with constant price fluctuations. They put 2 inch pip on my plumbing, no P trap and the shower pan was not installed correctly so I had a major leak into my master bedroom closet that damaged my closet system. They are horrible at tile work. Horrible grout work. I gave them $8,000.00 and spent $4,000 on material and I need to have everything redone. They did a terrible paint job. Anyways, they came as a referral so I want to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. Just spent the extra $2-3,000 and get someone who is license. In the end what was suppose to be a $14,000.00 job turned out to be $32,000.00. I offered to find someone on my own and used the Yelp Request a Quote feature to reach out to several professionals in my area at once. William from Glorified Handyman replied so quickly, and after sending him photos of the issue with my tub I had a quote to get approved by my landlord within an hour of my request. Frank from William's team showed up at his scheduled time and I was immediately impressed with how organized he was. I've lived in my apartment since 2022 and this issue happened in June of 2024. The handyman that came to fix it back then came with so much less equipment than Frank so I was confident this pro knew what he was doing. One of my least favorite things about when people come to fix things is the mess they typically leave. Not Frank - he was extremely thoughtful about moving everything out of my bathroom, and completely covered the work area with towels / work mats as to leave as little mess as possible. In about two and a half hours I had a brand new looking re-glazed tub. It looks amazing and I am thinking with the detail he put into the work that this will last much longer than last time. The project ran me about $450 which I think is reasonable based on my research. They followed up after the work with an invoice and they take both credit card or zelle which is great. For most of my adulthood I've done the very Miami thing of of finding a handyman through word of mouth and have been met with varied degrees of reliability and quality of work. Not with this project! Going forward I'll be using the Glorified handyman services when I need to get a project done around my place.
