In mid-2023, we hired JMK Construction (the contractor) to perform structural repairs, painting,…read morebalcony waterproofing, and railing replacement. The balconies were waterproofed but not leveled as requested by the Board of Directors, and when it rains, large puddles of water accumulate throughout the whole balcony floor. When the board of directors brought this to the attention of JMK Construction, they said leveling the floor of the balconies was not included in the over $16,000 paid. New railings did not have proper screw holes made for cone head shaped screws. Half of railings boots do not fit. In December 2024, the railings failed inspection. At the end of March 2025 the Board informed Lanyon Heinemann, the responsible party at JMK Construction that if by May 1st the issues with the railings were not resolved, complaints would be filed against the licenses of JMK Construction and Construction Integrated Services, and that the board of directors would seek legal action against JMK Construction, who holds the signed contract with the board of directors. As of May 8th, 2025, well over a month after, the railings situation has not been resolved. The board contacted the City of Miami building department on 5/5/25 and was informed that the pending revisions have been approved since 4/17/25 and that a payment is due from the contractor and that the City of Miami building department notified the contractor via e-mail. More days have passed, and no one from JMK construction has checked on this issue, after so many complaints about the extreme delay of this job. The owners and board of directors of The Blue Condominium Association feel defrauded, abused, and ignored mainly by JMK Construction who holds the signed contract with the building for all the repairs, and also by Construction Integrated Services, a company with horrible reputation, who has repeatedly lied to and ignored messages from the board of directors.

They then used this as a way to enter the other unit and promptly installed plumbing pipes to attach to the above unit without permission and WITHOUT PERMITS. The building is now under a unsafe structure, the poor victim below, now has more plumbing installed above them with more risks for leaks and unsafe structure. Avoid this contractor at all costs.

He came in and detected where the water was damaging my home. He gave me a verabal and written plan and proposal. He later had his crew in to remediate the problem in a careful organized manner. They installed curtains, drying machines and walking areas to keep work site in order protecting my home. DGC even helped me provide all pictures and processed everything for the insurance company. I did little to nothing. All matters were handled and work was completed with permits and payments were handled efficiently through my insurance company. Everytime the insurance requested, Tony produced what was needed. I wish most things were this easy and smooth. We saw several with mixed reviews then saw Al's with 5-stars. I was hesitant at first given there were only six reviews at the time. However, after reading each one, and realizing that Al was a hands-on business owner, we decided it wouldn't hurt to get a quote. Al responded to the request very quickly and showed up on time. After I showed him all the work that needed to be done, I asked whether he happened to know how to program a garage door keypad. Without any hesitation, he read the instructions on the keypad, flipped the garage light assembly where the switch to program was and helped me figure it out. Turns out the battery on the keypad just needed to be replaced. He even left me a little screw driver so I could open the battery compartment once I got the 9v battery I needed. He did all this "gratis"! While I had originally planned to get more quotes, this small act of kindness demonstrated Al's commitment to customer service, which is unfortunately rare to find these days. Additionally, I told Al that we neither had the tools nor supplies needed to do all the hanging and installation work and he said he would take care of getting them. As such, we decided to move forward and scheduled him for the work. As expected, Al showed up on time yesterday, got the job done quickly and well. He accepts payment via Zelle which was a big plus. My sister was quite pleased with his work and has asked Al for another quote do screen replacement for her back patio. So here's the short version of my review. If you need work done around your house, call Al -- you will definitely be happy you did. Glad we found you Al! Communication with Green Home Roofing employees was ongoing. Each day, I called them and they immediately responded with answers to my questions.
