    Parking lot pic, very secure

Adorable motel with rooms of varied sizes for everyone. Walking distance to a outdoor museum as well grocery store on main one block away. Our group took most of entire motel this one weekend, so much fun to be together in the U shape motel parking lot. Easy check-in and out. Limited outdoor seating was great. Quilts on the queen size beds were light and beautiful. Air conditioner was on a switch making easy to turn on/off. Laundromat on site! Staff was amazing!

What a great little hotel! Recently updated rooms large space and decorated mid century modern. Clean and Brite. If you drive truck park at Jake's truck stop or loves and call the owners. I bet you can get a ride to this little gem. You won't be disappointed and pet friendly.

Here's a couple pics of the room. You can see it's RETRO FUNKEE, but clean and no weird smells or anything.

My wife and daughter were traveling west on I 90, started looking for a hotel around Coeur d'Alene Idaho, anything under 200 bucks was booked. Spokane Valley, nope Spokane, nope my wife was getting tired and needed a spot to stay. I hopped on yelp and found this place. Four stars on yelp for $56? No problem. I called them, got Chris on the phone, he said no problem, took my name, said make sure they're here by midnight and I hold the room. They arrived from Spokane an hour later, got checked in. They were so relieved. The place is old-school but clean. Friendly service. Obviously this isn't a five-star hotel but for what it is it's five stars in my book. Much appreciated for weary travelers.

I have stayed at clean, sterile, boring hotels with perfect hospital corners and little charm. I have stayed at charming hotels with scuffs and peeling wallpaper. Empire Motel is somewhere in between. From the outside, Empire looks like any other old motel with a neon sign. There's nothing remarkable at first glance. Inside, it's clear that some attention has been paid to upgrading where possible in an otherwise basic room. The bathroom only had a shower, but the fresh paint, contemporary choice of color, and contemporary settee all worked well. The toilet was brand new, but the sink was old. Actually, the sink was old in a way that was intriguing. The enamal showed pitting I've never seen before, and in a pattern that suggests the basin had been partially with some serious stuff. It was clean, though. And the water tasted pretty good, much unlike hotels I've encountered all over the country. No bathtub here, only a small shower stall. The water pressure was excellent, actually, with plenty enough hot water. The bed was comfortable enough, but not remarkable. I stayed in room 15, on the yonder side from the parking lot. It's a busy street (for Ritzville), so be prepared for a little road noise. Any room is going to have some noise from the periodic trains coming through, but I slept through it all once I was out. There is no closet, just a luggage rack and rail for hangers. Curiously, that rail does not include hangers. All in all, I think the folks that own this property are going a good job making improvements, but there is still some work to do. Stay here if, and only if, you can negotiate a good rate.

Very cool place. Old but clean and the owners are great. If you can appreciate old school this is a fun place to stay. Love the history.

Clean, but bare bones. Very friendly owner who lent us a crib for our 7 month old son. Only charged us $5 for our dog to stay, too!!

It's hard for me to review the hotel beyond the amazing jacuzzi, but there's a full breakfast to be had, comfy bed, nice fan - normally those are really the only 3 things I'm looking for, but JACUZZI! Sorry, it's hard to look past that. But that was really the focus of my stay, so that's what I'm sticking to. And so with all that, why only 4 stars? Because it was really small and cramped. I love being in a jacuzzi, but only when I can sit normally. Half my body was out of water - this guy's too shallow and not the complex tub shape where you can sit on the side, only wedge yourself on the bottom and fold your legs awkwardly. I did my best in there. And it's great to have, and since 99% of people won't be staying here with a jacuzzi (your loss), I want to focus on the hotel itself. A strong 4 stars, but not quite 5. Brian H's 3/4/22 review matches what I think, and he gave it 4, so there you go.

My wife overheard the manager complaining loudly to another employee about it and said she would charge us 10 bucks. While checking out, I asked for an itemized receipt to check if she charged us for it. She did. Upon questioning the manager, she snarkily replied that "I should watch my kids more closely" and "this is our policy." I travel a lot for work and have stayed at a variety of hotels. None of them have ever charged if a plate is broken. Second of all, if you are operating on such a shoestring budget that you can't absorb a CHILD breaking a plate, you have far bigger issues. Third (and last) of all, if you are so jaded working in hospitality that you are berating people, loudly complaining about your guests in front of them, and just generally have a bad attitude, it's probably time to find another line of work (that doesn't involve interacting with people). It sucks because this place was actually pretty nice until the manager had to act the fool. Replace her ASAP and save your business!

Not 30 seconds later, she puts the rest of my team on that floor. I was slighted for a moment but I wasn't going to let that ruin the trip. This was a business trip. I checked in 2 January and stayed for the month. I am actually still here but the service has been so good, I'm yelping it now. Every morning, we get free breakfast. I'm talking eggs, cinnamon buns, milk, yogurt, fruit, juice, cereal, oatmeal, sausage, biscuits and gravy ... spared no expense. They really meant it when they said free breakfast. It's served for 3.5 hours every day. The hotel is right next to a lot of eating establishments. There is always a place to go. Domino's will deliver right to your room. Nightly they lay out cookies for everyone and coffee is available 24/7. All in all, I was absolutely taken care of. I miss home and know if I ever travel, I can stay here again. Thanks y'all.

They made sure all our questions were answered and we even stopped 3 of them coming back from their breaks with some inquiries and they were happy to help and came back to our room within minutes. The room itself was gorgeous. The details in the Mexico themed room were so intricate, even down to the resin decor in the counters, the chainsaw carvings and even the ceramic chili peppers on the walls. The 2 person jetted tubs and the duel headed shower were even better. The fact that they have the option to have the mineral or fresh water for the jetter tub was also pretty cool This resort is very clean, the staff is helpful and the lakeside property they have is absolutely beautiful. The exercise/gym room was also pretty stocked. Its small but the machines were new and taken care of. The 2 wooden saunas are also amazing. They have MULTIPLE hot tubs on site, which was also pretty cool. They had a fire pit (we couldn't use it due to the crazy fires) with a lot of seating that overlooks the lake. I honestly couldn't really find a negative thing to say about this place other than I wish they would put lotions in their rooms. The salt from the lake really dries your skin out....but that is kind of expected with all the salt content. TLDR; amazing, friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous views and great amenities. We will be back! Do yourself a favor and just book this place!

It's not the fanciest or most modern, but everything is clean, comfortable, and the staff is very nice and helpful. I only stayed one night. The TV is finicky (you have the option to choose between WiFi OR regular TV channels, and I had to ask the front desk to help), but the front desk was extremely nice and helpful with both the TV and the treadmill (I couldn't get it on due to a safety feature.) The fitness room has a treadmill, bike, rower, exercise ball, mats, free weights, a bench, and a station where you can do pull-ups and stuff. And the sauna is in the fitness room (I didn't try it). There is even (coin operated) guest laundry here! The bed is quite firm but very comfortable, the pillows are big and fluffy and luxurious, the room has a remote control air conditioner/heater which is a luxury itself, considering I'm used to the ones you have to get up to change. The room also has USB ports at the nightstand, an iron/ironing board, hairdryer, small coffee maker (coffee, cocoa and tea in the lobby, too), mini-fridge, & microwave. The bathroom has shampoo and conditioner on the wall, bar soaps (of course), and even lotion! What really impressed me was the gentleman managing the breakfast. (5:30am-9:30am). I came around 7:30am and within less than 30 minutes, he replaced the coffee, and checked the food temps and quantities several times. All the hot food was piping hot, and the cold food was fridge-cold. And the selection was pretty incredible for the small space they pack it into. And Othello is a very cozy small town - there is a grocery store nearby, a super Walmart nearby, fast food, restaurants, gas stations, a Dollar Tree, and a couple bakeries. If I ever come over here for 2 days in a row again, I would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, quiet room with a bunch of amenities... I'd absolutely recommend this Quality Inn.
