leaving out of Spokane heading back to the tri-cities after a day of staying hydrated in 100+ temps…read moreand I get a call that I have to answer: it's nature saying something needs took care of right now... fortunately there's this here rest area right here so I can get started immediately and finish up quick without too much bother. westbound is a fair rest area, plenty of car parking up front near the facilities and then further down near the pet and picnic areas. larger vehicles stay to the left but still have easy access all around. two sets each men's and women's but no dump station for if you brought your own waste but that doesn't seem to have kept the cool kids from clearing their black water tanks... so, um, yuck

Women's and men's bathrooms both very clean…read more Stalls well-stocked with 4 tissue rolls attached in each stall. Also have toilet covers. Water fixture is one where you push down and it times out after x seconds. Like any of those in any location, the water never runs long enough for you to do a thorough lather and then wash off your hands. So you have to touch it again to finish hand washing which I don't like. So then, I use my elbow or sanitizer after. Blow dryer instead of hand towels. Easy to get into rest stop and out. If they had drink vending machines like most do, it wasn't obvious but I didn't go around the back or sides to see. A very small amount of grass. Enough for your dog or small child to run around and get energy out. Feels safe during day. Can't remember lighting outside at night, but remember being glad my husband was there.

Thank you! Rest area needed a cleaning this morning. The men's room needed attention and there was a bit of trash here and there in the parking area. At 6:00 am, it was before sunrise and the place was decently lit. I did not see any signs prohibiting overnight parking which is always a plus. [Review 20841 overall - 79 in Idaho - 1825 of 2023.]

The real…read moretreat of the day is when you go up or down the curves on the steep grade up into the fields after or before your ferry ride. The view still gets me even though I see it every week. Worth a visit if you are going to the Dam or to Wilbur or Lake Roosevelt.

Checked in to 2 separate rooms with a friend. We checked in around 3pm, and took naps and washed up…read morein our rooms for a couple of hours. We left for dinner, and when we returned there were people in my room. They said they were told to bring my stuff up to the desk and were checked into my room. The guy at the desk couldn't or wouldn't do anything for us. He kept saying it wasn't his fault because he didn't check us in. He didn't offer us any assistance beyond telling us it wasn't his fault, but wasn't it? He checked the other people into the room I was already checked into. My bags were missing my opiod pain medication and all of my travel snacks. I have never had a situation like this before at any hotel or motel. Will never return to any Motel 6. Do not recommend. Horrible customer service and a terrible experience. We drove the 4 hours back home, forgoing two days of our planned stay.
