I was initially hiring this company to load our moving truck. However I also asked for a quote to do the actual move to another province. Multiple calls and texts I was told the quote was sent via email and not to worry they would be there on the move date. James told me sorry he hadn't sent it yet on multiple occasions because he had been busy with family in town, not in the office, etc. I continued to give him the benefit of the doubt. I finally gave up asking for the moving quote after three weeks of back and forth with James. I rented a U-haul and had there Pack Rat movers load the truck. I was referred to this company by my neighbour. In hindsight looking back she was doing a relative easy move consisting of boxes. Our move however included antique furniture, Pottery Barn furniture, Large glass mirror, and other delicate items. I had blankets ready and multiple times mentioned they could help themselves. As the move took place my dad and I continued to work in the house getting things ready and organized. The movers were respectful and polite. There were no issues there. Fast forward to unloading the truck. I also hired professional movers to unload the truck. As time went on and we discovered how things were packed on the truck it was with great disbelief. No blankets were used on anything. The movers were shocked to see how things were placed and packed together and the discovery of damage ensued. I have since reached out to James the very next day after we used Pack Rats services and sent pictures. He requested more pictures and said he would speak with his boss and get back to me on July 5th. I followed up and again explained how disappointed I was with no communication or compensation. There has been no return call or text on behalf of the company. Upon further investigation I found another customer who had a similar experience on the better business bureau. I really didn't want to have to write this review but after the lack of unprofessionalism by this company I felt it was right. Very disappointed.

We hired Tyger Boyz Curbing last year to replace the old lawn edging. We chose the style and…read morecolour, and were very excited when they came to put in the curbing. When finished, the curbing had a plastic covering so it would cure, but no one came to talk to me before they left. I didn't know how long to leave the plastic on, especially as it was very hot during the day, but I was concerned for the lawn areas under the plastic, which was weighed down wit pieces of lawn that had been cut out. I finally got hold of someone, who said the plastic could have come off after 24 hours - this was three days later. The lawn underneath was burned, of course, and, because of the extreme temperatures, didn't come back at all last year. The curbing looked very nice, but there were piles of excess sand dumped on a flower bed, and there were several large patches of slag left both on the lawn, and on the decorative rock on the other side of the curbing. No one ever came to clean these up, though I was told that someone would be back to do that. This year, the pretty peach colour that we had added to the curbing has faded over a large part of the curbing, and it is now completely white. We do not feel we received good value for our money: the curbing is not the colour we asked for, and the workers left a terrible mess for us to clean up. We will never use Tyger Boyz again, nor would we recommend them to anyone.

Seriously just road blocks. The job was delayed and interfered with our travel plans. They finally came and the chief installer said he had a physio appointment and couldn't do the job. Due to an injury. Shouldn't Jordan send a replacement? We are all sleeping on couches now as we have completely uprooted our home for this. We demand someone come to do the work and they send a single old guy . He laughs when he sees the scope of work and says he can't do it. Finally after threats of litigation the send a crew who bang it all down in a day. HOWEVER...every stair has a gauge in the paint. 2 gauges where the drywall need to be repaired. Multiple other scratches- and one cracked wooden blind. In the contract it says on fine print that Jordan not responsible for any damages. I will never use this company again. Complaint Detail / Problem Complaint Type: Repair Issues…read moreProblem: On Jan 19, 2019 this year, we purchased a displayed dining table set (a table with 4 chairs) from Jordans interiors ltd. (store #717) located at #117 1788 Baron Road, Kelowna, BC. At the store where the dining set was displayed, had a runner across the table and a vase with flowers in the center. The delivery was made on Jan 25th between 12-3pm. When it arrived my husband noticed there were marks/scratches on the table top and the delivery man also marked it on the receipt confirmed that scratches/marks as the product arrived and not caused by the buyers. We notified the store, there staff Jeanette acknowledged the problem and agreed to send their repair man (named George) over to fix it for us at the cost of Jordan. George came about a month after the purchase due the both ours and his schedules. He looked at the marks/scratches and said he will return with tools to repair. We waited patiently but each time we follow up, it seems he can never schedule us in. We later on found out his wife was sick so we can appreciate his situation. However, we are well into May and 4 months had past. We received a call last Friday May 10, from Jordan's representative Jeanette, informing us that there company WILL NOT HONOR THERE PROMISED in covering the repair costs. This instruction is given by the Director. Our issues are: 1. if we knew about the scratch before the purchase then we may choose other alternative furniture in our selective list. 2. Jordan acknowledged the defect and agree to look after the repair costs 3. Four months after the purchased, the director reject the repair costs which was promised so long ago. (if it was against there company policy why not state it at the beginning of the purchase? All we wish is to have the table repaired as soon as possible as promised by Jordan's interior. Now, we are stuck with over $3300+ of the damaged goods which Jordan managed to disguise the flaws and sold it to us. Hope no other consumers in the future will have to go through the same experience like us. Buyers Beware and CHECK ALL YOUR GOODS well and thorough from Jordan.
