I would like to provide an update. A year ago, I submitted a review for this establishment and observed several aspects that changed. The only bathroom labeled (customers only) has been non-operational for nearly one year and eight months now. Not sure how to feel about what they are trying to communicate here. The cost of the machines has increased by one dollar, and the dryers have changed their pricing structure; they now offer 4 minutes of use for a quarter instead of the previous 5 minutes per quarter. With that being said I see decline in the cleanliness, it used to be kept well by the old man who managed this place but not sure who does it now the floors are a mess. Might be time to take business elsewhere where. They no longer do bill exchanges if that helps anyone. read more

This laundromat is very clean, has a lot of washer and dryers, and loved how they have bigger machines to make doing laundry easier! They are located right across the street from link light rail off of Othello and next to food locations. They have a machine that changes dollar bills to quarters. The washer and dryers have very quick loads so you should be in and out quickly. I did a 3x load for 20 minutes and dryer for 20 minutes. Don't forget to bring your own laundry detergent and dryer sheets. I didn't see an area in the store to purchase any if you forgot your own at home. Love this place, Empire is great! I pass 4 laundromats coming from my house, and every single one should be shut down! Very clean, attendant is quick to clean up messes and refill change machine. I've recommended 2 friends so far and will happily recommend more! Avoid this place on weekends and prime time, it gets insanely busy. Also parking can be a bear, very small lot! Came here on Memorial Day since our dryer broke. It's a small space but with plenty of washers(range in size) and dryers to use. It was also super clean! :) it's located right across from the Othello station so convenient to get to if you live a few neighborhoods away. There's also a few eateries next door including a Mexican restaurant to grab a bite while your clothes wash. The only downside would be that there's only a few tables to fold your laundry but if you don't care about that then this is the place to go! A plus would also be that there's a Chase bank that's walking distance if you need to grab cash since They don't do bills change here. read more

Instead of returning to finished laundry I walked in and see my wet laundry in the middle of the floor. In order to cool the dryer the OWNER DUMPED MY LAUNDRY ON THE FLOOR and let the timer run out on the dryer. And then said it was NOT HIS PROBLEM. I told the genius that if he needed to cool it he could've at least put my laundry in one of the 20 carts instead of on the dirty floor. I'm shocked at the stupidity and lack of consideration. This is a great laundry Matt. Clean, big washers 3, 4 and 6 loaders with 1 regular loader. The washers are $1/ load. So the 3 loader is $3 etc. A bank of big dryers at ,$0.25 for 7 minutes. This is the place to go when you need to get a car load of laundry done. read more

Clean, lots of washers and dryers, very convenient to the light rail stop. Change machine seems to be working most of the time. I only gave it 4 stars because the bathroom was often closed and the closest business is the Safeway which requires you to leave your laundry for quite awhile. Amazing place to wash! Friendly staff! Busy at times but hey that's what you get when its so good. I highly recommend this place to all!
