I was greeted filled out paperwork and met Danny he made me feel very comfortable. He asked me what I had in mind. I wanted a Mandela because it was something that my son kept telling me I need to see Danny to have done. Danny was very professional. You can tell he had many quality years with tattooing. We were able to learn how to draw with an actual needle on fake skin, didn't do too well but the experience was great. There are many different services they go by the hour, tap out sessions, and each artist works individually. The vibe was great subtle and full of positivity. INFECTED PIERCING I…read morereally wanted to love this place, which makes me more upset about the infection and the week of antibiotics I needed after trusting them. I bought a white gold earring recommended by the piercer, which fell out after just 3 days. When I went back that day to have it reinserted, the same piercer who first recommended the earring admitted the post was "too soft". He mentioned they'd just started carrying this manufacturer's jewelry and had to add an extra bend beyond the standard one to keep it in. Worse, he reinserted the jewelry without cleaning my ear, essentially pushing bacteria into the open wound. I returned the next day because it felt off, but was dismissed and told it was fine. Four days after that, I was at Urgent Care: pain, swelling, redness spreading across my ear, warm to the touch. The doctor diagnosed me with cellulitis, removed the earring, and prescribed Ciprofloxacin. When I called to ask for a refund, the owner refused to acknowledge any fault. I understand things go wrong sometimes. What matters is how a business responds. Selling jewelry that isn't fit for purpose, skipping sanitation steps, and then dismissing a customer who ended up in urgent care is not okay. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Megan made me feel awkward for asking about placement and told me my nose is shaped weird so it won't look good (not "your anatomy won't support it"). My eyes watered (because that's normal - I looked this up later and it's typical for piercers to let you know it's totally normal), and when I mentioned it, she didn't reassure me or say it was normal. Just stared at me. They also tried to upsell me on jewelry without showing any of the cheaper options. I asked about cheaper options and they said they wouldn't look good. When I was done I was basically pushed out the door. The whole place feels rushed now - very assembly-line. I've since gone to other studios in MA and realized it doesn't have to feel like that. Jon made it up in his own style so that it does look different and unique to me. He also took my suggestions about how I wanted to change it for me. 3. The customer service I received was unrivaled. While most of the store is booked out quite a few weeks, he was easy to stay in touch with if I had an idea about how to change the design and never left me hanging for more than a day during the wait. Jon took my ideas, incorporated some of his own and I couldn't be happier. It was affordable, the customer service was awesome, the end result was above expectations. Lastly, if you are reticent about getting your first tattoo, ask for Jon, not only was he a great frigging dude, but he's fine with taking a break a few times an hour so you can both stretch out and feel comfortable. Not my first tattoo, but my first 5 star experience and a local experience with local artists. I will be back if I need something again in the future. Lastly, the shop is clean, everyone followed covid protocols, you never feel unsafe or at risk there. This is an A+ operation filled with A+ artists and workers.
