After my son passed away, we had a benefit and one of the certificates that I want at the benefit was to Phoenix tattoo this is where my son went for his tattoos. I decided to have Danny do a memorial tattoo for my son that passed away since that was his tattoo artist as soon as I walked in the place was really clean. I was greeted filled out paperwork and met Danny he made me feel very comfortable. He asked me what I had in mind. I wanted a Mandela because it was something that my son kept telling me I need to see Danny to have done. Danny was very professional. You can tell he had many quality years with tattooing. I'm looking forward to going back to see Danny to have another nice size tattoo done. It is definitely going to be my place to go when I'm not in Florida getting them done by my artist there! After about a year of going back and forth, I finally decided to get my first tattoo. I did some research to find a place near me, and came up with Phoenix Tattoo. After further investigation, I decided to go with Rhiannon who is a true professional and been in business a long time I was very glad that I did. I found a design that was a nice tribute to my Mom, and Rhi made it a reality. It looks even better than it did in the print that I saw. Everything was done with minimal discomfort, beyond some minor pain that went away by the next day. The healing process went very well. I'm not sure when I will get another tattoo, but I will gladly return to Rhi and Phoenix Tattoo when I'm ready. read more

I called for a walk in with my best friend and was very happy they could take us in on such short notice. we were tattooed by Lou and they were so friendly and welcoming! it was a great experience all in all but my tattoos are kind of messed up. I didn't notice until I got home (an hour away) that Lou didn't finish the tattoo on my left leg, and the line work is very uneven. my friends tattoo was missing a whole part of one of the lines.. I love my tattoos but sadly they're going to need to be fixed in quite a few spots. I'm glad it's an easy fix and wish I had noticed before the long drive home. oh and I forgot to add, it was very cool they had a dog there, but extremely insanitary that the dog came into the room while I was being tattooed. read more

The tattoo on the left was done October 4. The lines are not good, hand was missing a finger and had some issues with color. My girlfriend also got one that day and a week later it barely was visible to what she got. The lines were faded and all the color was gone. Lou was the artist. Nice person and good experience at the shop itself but I could not recommend to get tattooed. read more

I got a small simple tattoo that has a lot of meaning to me, but he just didn't get it right. It's actually a little ironic because it means positivity is greater than everything, but when something will be on my body for ever, I want it to start out looking nice(we all know tattoos can change overtime). I'm just really disappointed that the plus sign is crooked and the greater than sign is almost a triangle, which he attempted to salvage white white ink, that i can see. I can't imagine what a more detailed tattoo would look like, if a this simple one was messed up. Two stars because he was friendly. read more

I had found them on Yelp and looked at the work they have done on others. I emailed the shop and got a response within 2 hours and it was from Rhiannon about the piece I was looking to do. I asked if I could come in and we could talk about it. I had two tattoos in mind and saw the work of Danny's tribal tattoo and knew that I would be asking him as well. I went in and saw both of their portfolios and talk a little to both of them and knew that I would be doing business with this shop. I was able to schedule both artists that day and they both were accommodating to my schedule and needs. For any one who wants to get inked by a down to earth business I recommend this place. Mental music, movies and a cute dog how could you go wrong. Rhiannon did the Phoenix on my leg and Danny did the tribal tattoo with roses on my calf. My friend and I went for the buy one get one free piercing deal going on. I got a nose piercing, and I absolutely love it! I got my first tattoo done here and I had nothing but a great experience! From calling to leaving the shop, it was awesome. I called a few days in advance and asked for a specific day, and they made it happen for me. I emailed my idea to Danny and it was almost immediate that I got a response and estimate. I arrived about 15 minutes early (with three guests mind you) and paperwork was started immediately, and we were getting started with the needle within a half hour. Danny was extremely gentle and super nice about it being my first tattoo. We had a really good time, he had music playing, we were joking, seats for my sister and friends. It came out far better than I expected. The price was amazingly reasonable. I ended up referring a friend and going back, my friend had Rhiannon as an artist, and he loved his tattoo more than he thought he would. Both times the tattoos were done in a quick but careful manor, both were very well priced, and everyone was immensely nice both times. One of the best parts is, is that they won't make fun of you when you're in pain. I can't tell you how terrible of a client I was toward the end of the tattoo, but Danny never once made fun of me or anything like that. It is a relaxing enviornment and you feel comfortable within minutes, not to mention that this is such a clean shop. Trust me when I say that you need to get a tattoo from them. They do incredible work and they're wonderful people. (I got a beautiful jellyfish and my friend got a batman/joker card tattoo) read more

I just got my first tattoo with Danny a few days ago. I absolutely love it! I got a fairly simple tattoo and I was super nervous since it was my first time and I was getting it on side rib, but Danny made the experience absolutely amazing! He did a great job and he really puts all of his effort into his work. He spent more time making sure the design was perfect rather than the actual tattoo session. The plus side was that he made me feel super comfortable; got a singing session from him, a comedy show and a great experience! Also, I came out loving my tattoo! I highly recommend it.
