You can have the option to turn the lights and spa music in the tank on or off. My skin was super soft afterwards because of the epsom salt, but you might want to plan to do this on a day when you don't have any plans afterwards, because my hair was kind of funky for a while afterwards. The person at the counter was really friendly and did an excellent job of explaining everything. They provide a towel, q-tips, ear plugs, and anything you might need. The cost was $55 for one hour as a new customer. Definitely hoping to come back here and I've been recommending it to everyone!

It took me a little while longer to relax than I wanted to because I was distracted by the conversation. Maybe this can be corrected in the future? Charming nail is one of the only salons in the area which offers dazzle dry, but the consistency of the service is all over the place. Some technicians follow the dazzle dry procedures perfectly which results in a long lasting manicure, but others don't and my nails chip less than 24 hours after being done. This is frustrating when I'm spending $30 plus tip for something that doesn't last. Especially when I'm getting nails done for a special event. Overall the vibe of the salon is good and the people are nice, but I do hope this lapse in recent service rectifies itself so that I can feel confident in going back.

Amazing little tattoo studio and MORE! I emailed them a few days ago about my first tattoo after seeing the great reviews here. Just from the website I could tell it was the right place for me! Rhiannon emailed me back within an hour or so. She was so friendly and open and we set up an appointment for today. I was pretty nervous but felt welcomed and comfortable immediately. I was a little indecisive about font and exact placement and Rhiannon patiently and happily helped me to make a decision. All of the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Rhiannon explained everything that was going to happen and her and Jessica chatted with me to keep me calm and relaxed during the process. Danny was also hanging around helping to make the atmosphere fun and chill and when I was done I was touched to see Dean, Rhiannon's adorable therapy dog had been sitting dutifully right by my side as I was getting my tattoo. Got a double nipple piercing done by Chrystal. I emailed her a few days prior to ask a few questions and she fully addressed all my questions and concerns! She was very informative and clearly knew what she was doing. She had previously done hundreds of nipple piercings, many of which were flat or inverted nipples, which was a huge relief for me. Upon showing up for the appointment, the two dogs at the shop were extremely cute and helpful in relieving my stress prior to the piercing! The prep work prior to the piercing and the piercing experience itself was professional and thorough. Afterward, Chrystal gave me her business card and an informative sheet about caring for the piercing. Both Chrystal and the environment of the shop were relaxed and welcoming. This was the best tattoo experience I have ever had! I called the day before and explained my idea to Rhiannon. Within a couple hours she emailed me exactly the design I was looking for and she was able to do the tattoo the very next day! She and the other staff there were incredibly welcoming. Rhiannon has many years of tattooing experience which showed when she did my tattoo perfectly to what I was looking for. She had a wonderful calming demeanor which helped me not to focus on any discomfort from the tattooing. They also have an adorable dog who sits with you while you get the tattoo! Jon took my ideas, incorporated some of his own and I couldn't be happier. It was affordable, the customer service was awesome, the end result was above expectations. Lastly, if you are reticent about getting your first tattoo, ask for Jon, not only was he a great frigging dude, but he's fine with taking a break a few times an hour so you can both stretch out and feel comfortable. Not my first tattoo, but my first 5 star experience and a local experience with local artists. I will be back if I need something again in the future. I went to a studio in NYC and they told me that the jewelry they put in my ears had nickel in it which is why it wasn't healing properly. I expect that if i'm paying a premium for better jewelry, that it wouldn't have a toxic metal in the jewelry and that the pericer would know bette... even I know better. it's day 3 with new jewelry in (titanium and gold) and they have already started to heal.
