They arrived at 2:00pm... at this time I was downstairs getting stuff from my sister to dress my mom with. When I arrived on the unit, she was already gone. Luckily when I rushed down stairs they had just closed the door. I knocked on the door and this is why the problems started .... The drivers let me on the ambulance... this is nice but in times of COVID-19, This is dangerous. I can't believe a company lets people on their ambulances without checking for their COVID-19 status. Not only did they let me on the ambulance, they also drove me to my car to get some items for my mom. My mother was a missionary and goes every where with her Bible period. Fast forward almost a week , when we drop off new items to the rehab and ask for her dirty laundry, they state my mother has no belongings. None of the stuff I left with my mother in the ambulance made it with her. I get a phone call from the manager and owner and first thing they leave on my voicemail is all defensive talk... they have statements from drivers ect... I couldn't bear to listen to it. When I called them , they were so worried about covering for their employees, never once did they do an audit of where there employees actually went that day. They were rude and heartless. They have no idea or control over their employees. IT is not about the brand new clothing and toiletries that I'm really upset about. It's my mothers bible that she's had for over 40 years. All the notes and sentimental value. She has dementia and her bible is piece of the old her. All the material stuff can be replaced. If you love your loved one, please do right by them and choose another company. Please protect your loved ones. It's not worth risking them getting COVID-19 from practices against the CDC guidelines or them having their belongings "missing".

They are CAREFUL drivers, such a pleasure to have them transport our family member. In my opinion, this company is the best to use in the Capital District. We had a very early flight from JFK in February that was adjusted to an earlier time at the last minute by the airline due to weather. Michael and Jose did not flinch, they updated our pickup time from 2am to 1am and Jose was an absolute pleasure to travel with. We were lucky enough to ride with Jose both ways and the whole car service experience made our vacation that much more stress free and enjoyable. Jose even braved a treacherous and long sheet of ice and snow helping us get our suitcases from the car to the house upon our return to Albany. This is the way to go if you need a car service.

Much to my shock, a representative responded and gave me a breakdown of their pricing. It was MORE than what Uber would have charged by about $20!! You would think that cabs would offer very competitive pricing since they're in competition with Uber, but no! So I added an extra star because the Representative/Owner? was very friendly.. but I wouldn't recommend them at all if you're looking to travel from Albany and beyond. The idea of paying $50 to go from Cohoes to Troy (I don't care if you're coming from Albany!) is absurd! And Clifton Park? Forget it! The pricing for that is $75 coming from Albany if you're already in Clifton Park and need to get to Clifton Park! I know Uber would charge a much more reasonable price (also because they'd be getting drivers from Clifton Park). Stick to Uber and avoid the cabs. It's a real shame because taxi companies could really do great business if they charged far less than Uber. I remember back before Uber even existed how cheap it was to get around, for the most part. I only started using Uber 3 years ago when I moved up to this area. Prior to that, I could rely on cabs. Not anymore, and at prices like these - never again.
