Witnessed a wheel-lift truck for the company IGNORE a school bus UNLOADING CHILDREN. Its stop sign extended clearly visible, and other vehicles stopped in the outside lane behind the bus and middle lane .The tow truck was heading in the same direction. Occurred today, November 29th, 2023, around 2 pm northbound 436 about 2 miles south of Red Bug Rd. I called the company to inform them since this could have resulted in the death of one or more children if a child was crossing the street. The call was answered by the driver! I asked why he chose to ignore the stopped school bus unloading children. His response: "I didn't see it." I then responded, "So you didn't see its red stop sign extended out and every other vehicle at a stop obeying the law? He then responded back with very vulgar language... MF this and MF that and you MFer then abruptly hung up. This is definitely a towing service I would not trust with my car since he clearly and blatently ignores laws as will as it puts our children at risk. If the driver is reading this... I wish I could give this company no stars. They were dispatched by my insurance company to tow the car from where it got the flat to the dealership. We were not going to be able to be present when they arrived. The driver called when he got there asking where the keys were. I detailed where he could find them. He could not locate them. So, I asked if I could send a picture of where the key was that I took earlier for this exact purpose. He said yes and we got off the phone. Not long after, he called saying "I'm on the floor getting wet. I'm tired. I'm leaving." I believed him - maybe someone took the keys. I arrived at the car's location about 1.5 hours later and the keys were exactly where we'd left them. I called the insurance company again. Our tow would now be $94 because it needs to be towed to a repair shop because the dealer is now closed. (It was free to the dealership.) I called Empire Towing again, explained what happened, and got the response of "I'm sorry. What do you want me to say?" I explained that I wanted him to say what he was going to do to rectify the situation. He said there was nothing he could do. I asked if he could send someone to do the job they were supposed to do. He said no and that they were all busy. I asked if he could do it tomorrow(Sunday -dealership will not be open until Monday). He said no. I said "So you mean that your guy's incompetence is now my problem?" And he said that I was being disrespectful. I explained that competence is black and white. You either are or you're not. It isn't an opinion. He didn't do anything to fix the problem they caused. That man's name is "Luis" - just so you know. tl;dr Basically, this company won't tow your car. If they're called to do a job, they won't do it. Whatever issues arise because of them, they will not fix them or even attempt to help. read more

There was a error with the payment from roadside assistance and without informing me Rick went ahead and returned to the dealership and took my car and is now holding it and demanding I pay $764 on top of the payment I made to roadside assistance. I actually had a great experience with Empire Towing. I have a 370Z that needed to get towed due to a faulty key FOB. I was informed by Anthony at Empire Towing that I would be taken care of as soon as the current vehicle he was dropping off was delivered. He was there within the precise time-frame he said he would be, and the hook up & tow was quick. I had it dropped off at my residence, then called him again within 30 min. to tell him sorry, but I need to take it to the dealership after all. Very bad customer service. I called EMPIRE TOWING to get a price on getting my car towed I had to take my car half mile. When he gave me the quote I said " That's to much. Thanks anyway " I was called back 2 minutes later from EMPIRE TOWING and was asked how much did I think it should cost to get my car towed. I told himq.
