I researched top employment attorneys for about an hour or two. Moving from California not too long ago, I realized employment law in the state of Utah is almost always in favor of the employer; it's important to find someone capable. I ultimately hired Andrew Stavros to review my severance. He has tons of experience and it's obvious right away. Mr. Stavros was straightforward, fair and honest. His services are reasonable and affordable. Not all attorneys have experience under their belt to negotiate or understand severance agreements. He did. My options were laid out to me during our consultation. I chose the course of action to take. If needing further litigation or help, I will return to Mr Stavros. He is the kind of attorney you want in your corner if you need to move forward against an employer or civil action. He's confident and unwavering. Office 5/5: The office is very easy to work with and the receptionist Sue was very kind. Setting up the consultation was easy. Processing my payment was also quick and easy. Price 5/5: Good.

I had a very disappointing experience with Stavros Law. On 3/24, Sue (the receptionist) had me…read morespend a significant amount of time gathering and emailing detailed information about my case, assuring me they would review it and get back to me. It has now been a full month, and I have received no response despite multiple follow-ups by both phone and email. It is extremely unprofessional to ask a potential client to invest that kind of time and then completely fail to communicate any decision or update. A simple courtesy response would have been the bare minimum. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm.

Her communication throughout the process was minimal, and during mediation, she admitted to taking her sick child to daycare, which I feel motivated her to finish fast that day. She encouraged me to accept an extremely one-sided settlement: minimal child support and alimony, no back pay, and no share of funds my ex withdrew from our accounts or retirement. Despite having strong evidence (including video of infidelity), she repeatedly dismissed its relevance and downplayed my concerns. She also failed to properly investigate significant financial discrepancies--over $60,000 in unexplained income on my ex's bank statements. I left mediation feeling blindsided, unsupported, and trapped. I called immediately afterward trying to withdraw my consent to the agreement, but was told I could not. Looking back, I wish I had a stronger advocate--someone who understood my situation and fought for a truly fair outcome. I do not recommend her to others going through divorce, especially if you're in a vulnerable financial or emotional position.

I'm giving a 1 star review because there is no alternative option. BEWARE... Pearson Butler has refused to give it to me and will not respond to my emails. Mr. Rice told me that if I wanted them to pay it out and provide that information, to hire an attorney. Absolutely unbelievable... as if my Mother is a Defendant and I'm a Plaintiff? As the executors of her last will and testament, they have a fiduciary duty to honor her wishes. She would be absolutely appalled. This is the most abhorrent thing I've EVER experienced... not to mention reprehensible and corrupt. Christina Pippin
