But no shade at all for waiting in line. Bring chairs to wait in line. Wait time - Arrived at 7am (they open at 8am) to a line that wrapped around the building. Heard some came at midnight! But who knows. Received a QR code ticket by 9am at number 95! Didn't think there were 94 ppl ahead of us. But it was a live line online so you can always see your status. Was able to leave and run errands etc. Didn't get called til 4pm! (They close at 5pm). Only 3 workers there. The one we saw was VERY nice and SUPER HELPFUL. Spoke to him for about 5 min but our issue was resolved and payment was received 2 days later. read more

I also talked to someone recently who said they were already there at 11 PM the night before to be first in line. If you're having a hard time reaching EDD, this is definitely worth checking out. I suggest off the bat! Put a chair out in front at 1am. And go back home or wait till 8am when they open. If you plan on showing up at 7-8am. You'll be waiting in the line for hours. I put a chair there at 2am and was 4th in line. Was in and out in 15mins. The lady that helped me was really attentive and handled my errors quickly. Everything was resolved in a 10 minutes. I've seen so many times ppl calling 911 someone passed out during this heat. they let people outside with baby's or senior in the sun they should be more considered and have tents, the people (workers)inside they treat you with respect. Please don't go here... you will be cooking in the sun all day. Call your state assembly representative of your city. Email them and then they will get back to you the next day or two. They will advocate for you for the Disability office to call you. I emailed my state assembly representative, Natasha Johnson, and they had disability call my the next day. Just have your phone on and answer all your calls.. https://www.assembly.ca.gov Use this website... scroll all the way down until you see "Find My Representative". Click it and you should see, "By Your Address". Click that, then type in your address. It should pop up a rep for you. Push the "Contact" button and then just fill out your information and a description to them on what is going on with your claim. They will call you back with a "No Caller ID" number so you have to be ready to take calls all day the next few days. They call you and tell you they're sending an email for you to fill out. The link they send is nothing crazy. It's basic info (name, claim, date). It's really quick, and they advocate for you to get called back by the Disability. If this link I sent you expires or you're not able to use it anymore because they updated their system for some reason... just look up your representative of your city and contact them somehow. They will for sure call you back. Hope this helps some people skip the long lines!!!! SO much easier than calling the main state line over and over only to listen to a recording that hangs up on you after you've spent several minutes going through the menu. I walked in on a Tuesday afternoon at 4:15. No line. Helped right away. Gentleman at window was friendly and set up a call with someone who contacted me within a few minutes. Chino Hills EDD office should improve the line by having pop-up tarps and also having ice cold water provided for people waiting outside long hours in the sun. Since I can't get any useful help through phone (never answered), I decided to come to talk someone in person. Besides the long waiting time, I'm very satisfied with the service. The location is easy to find by GPS and the sign of the plaza. Spacious parking spots! I went there on a weekday morning, around 9-10am. I waited/ stood an hour (stand outside) in line to get into the office. So be prepared for your time in advance, bring water or other things. It's a small office, with 2-3 officers working. Grab a number and sat down to be called. Around another 30 mins. Talking with the officer is very satisfied. Well knowledged and very efficiency. My problem was solved in about 20 mins. read more

There phone lines are hado go to San Bernardino office on Tuesday was quick for my situation was out by 8:45. I still have not seen my claim forms. Worker told me it will 24 to 48 hours to see my claim forms today is Friday. Why are they not hiring more people for State jobs, I have no idea. Whatever system they're doing to see people isn't great at all. I just wanted to pay my overpayment. The person at the window did not tell me they don't accept payment at this location. She even verified if I wanted to discuss i, and I said just want to pay it and even showed her a check in my hand. They sign you in, and then you have to hang around and wait for a phone call. I waited 3 hours for the phone call outside in the 90+ degree heat because the waiting room was full. They said either wait outside or in your car. When I finally got the phone call they tell me either pay online or over the phone, which the person who checked me in could have told me they don't accept payment. Wasted 3 hours. Sad that a lot of people I saw were elderly or pregnant and had to wait outside. read more

Longest I've had to wait in line is 10-15 mins but it's not that bad. The people at the windows are fast and nice if you're nice to them. They help and call you back pretty fast. Am I the only person to have witnessed unprofessionalism & careless attitude from every employee here????? I showed up today at 12:20PM requesting a form (4365DI-T )needed to verify my identity since my disability claim has been on hold without payment . The "security guard" woman claimed I would need to wait for this form and handed me a paper to fill out my name number and case. She simply received the form and told me to wait for a call in my car . Okay.... 1:30....2:30....3:30.... Maybe I should check in by 4:45 since they close at 5PM. I walk in at 4:45PM and explain I've been waiting since 12:20 and wanted to know if I would be seen or if I should go home. This male"security guard" confirmed that they close at 5pm but I just had to wait for a call in my car. At this point, I'm like annoyed. So I'm like I'm 15 minutes I will receive a call correct??? He says yes you should but we close at 5PM. Even more annoyed , I explain my situation and the form I need. He's like "let Me ask a manager" and returns stating they are unable to provide . But of course I'm like No.... I checked in at 12:30 and was not told that. He goes back and forth with myself and the manager until he asks me to walk into the lobby of the office and wait in the "middle ". Then walked up a manager who claims the form is mailed and she is unable to provide . So I'm like wait... you don't have a physical copy of this correct? She's like yes! So I'm like why did your staff have me check in and wait since 12:20PM?? ( knowing this is the form I asked for) Annoyed I told her it's been 4 HOURS!?!? And only because I decided to check in you are saying that I am unable to receive the form at your DI Office . I finally was able to get help with my disability insurance, I've been out of work since November I had a shoulder injury from gardening and in December I had back surgery! So I'm very happy with the help I received at the Chino Hills office. The person that helps me was very kind and professional her name was Helen. she's the greatest and everyone else that works at the building are kind and professional as well! This place is a joke. I've called multiple times to receive help from paid family leave just so I could end the call because "too many people" are calling. I went to the office in person to request an update on my claim just so I could put my number down for them to call me. They called me saying I've made a mistake on my claim. So I redo the claim online again, mind you I've waited two weeks already. Now I have to wait for who knows how long. People have bills to pay. People are not getting the help they need especially if they need to get paid in a timely manner. Who can go on paid family leave for 3 weeks as a new parent without any money to provide for my baby. Craig (dreadlocks) is fantastic!!! I was coming here for a month upset as to why I hadn't received any payments. He assisted me and promised I'd get paid in 24-48hrs, and I actually did. He updated 2 things on my profile which supposedly had been changed by other employees, clearly it wasn't. Craig promised and he delivered! Thank you Craig!!! He went above and beyond just a few minutes ago by calling me to verify my payments will go through till the end date of my SDI. He deserves a raise and a promotion! Was denied my unemployment after my rights were violated by my previous job. I was scolded by my agent for missing breaks when I was punished if I was late on anything and was forced to skip a ten once in a blue moon. That woman made me feel like I was a little child because I had to make a choice to be fired for my timing on how I'd get off clock or risk having to skip a ten once in a blue moon. My rights got VIOLATED! And I'm the bad one? You should of scolded my last boss!! Worst department in the state fire the woman who was my agent and get someone with empathy and compassion not arrogance and ignorance!! I was calling the EDD number to figure out why my claim was still pending and I was constantly hung up on without ever being connected to a person, or I was told by the automated voice system that the number of callers per day was reached. I did this for 5 weeks and said, "forget this" and went in to this office. All the employees working are very nice, sympathetic and helpful. I went about 19 minutes before they opened so there wasn't a ton of people. Make sure you have everything you need and they'll fix the issue no problem. Nancy was the person who helped me and oh my god was she helpful. if you live close by to this office, DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT deal with anyone over the phone. I have been trying to get answers to why my claim was under review and or why I wasn't getting paid. I was dealing with the agents over the phone for over a month, I would sometimes get a hold of someone and sometimes I wouldn't make it on time to make the wait. I went to the office waited 2 hours (worth it) and I was seen and she fixed every single issue I had. I was finally paid for the 4 weeks. Take your phone, charger and headphones. Called today Aug 19 and spoke to a woman not nice at all. I had been to get a medical extension so I personally took it to Chino Office usually staff nice but that day Aug 8 when I dropped off the form the woman had a bad attitude maybe because it was 4:30 she had a bad day. I brought the paperwork so that my payments would not get interrupted every 2 weeks. Wrong!!! My next payment was coming on Aug 15, so I thought good I will have 1 more check this month around Aug 28. Today the rude call center agent told me she cutting a 3 day check now and 14 days I get another paycheck which will be sept 3 a Holiday Why????)).
