I started what would have been a 6-8 week long PT program and I just got a bunch of exercises to do. Nothing that I didn't already know or could have found on line. I'm going to save myself $140 at least going for a real massage and just exercising at home. The other thing I don't like are the inconsistent hours. Sometimes they are opening and closing. Other times they close early early. They also have traveling therapists and assistant that are still in school handling actual cases. You're probably not going to "know" your therapist. You'll get who ever is in office that day. Then you'll get assistants who are usually there. Pretty weird. Overall, this place doesn't appear to have much business to warrant constant service. Nice staff. Clean as well. Just not what I was looking for with as expensive as it is.

I went to All Star Clinic in Tempe in summer 2025 for left knee pain ahead of marathon training…read more Over roughly five weeks, there was no clear diagnosis--just a rotating mix of trigger point injections, stretches, and exercises that felt like trial-and-error. An attempt to see what sticks! Despite consistent visits, my pain did not improve at all. When I asked for an MRI to get clarity on what was actually going on--since an X Ray didn't reveal anything--I had to bargain for it. I was told they would only write the MRI referral if I agreed to come back for at least one more visit after the imaging. That condition alone was a red flag. I ultimately went elsewhere for a second opinion. Another chiropractor immediately identified my shoes as the likely issue and recommended Hokas and new insoles. I followed that advice in August 2025, completed five months of marathon training, and ran my marathon in December 2025 with little to no knee issues. No injections. No endless visits. No bills. On top of the lack of results, the clinic was extremely expensive. Months later, I am still receiving calls from their corporate office about insurance payments "working their way through," long after I stopped treatment. In my experience, this clinic offered vague treatment, resisted diagnostic imaging unless it benefited them, and delivered poor value for the cost. If you're dealing with a real injury and want answers--not guesswork--I'd strongly recommend getting a second opinion early.

I found All Star Health on Facebook, and want to share that this place is the best in the Phoenix area, although located in Temp. Physician Assistant Mike P is one of the most knowledgeable people I have encountered. He is the first person in the area who understood my concerns and took the correct approach in determining to understand the cause of my pain. With the MRI result, based on his foresight, I now know the cause of my pain. This young man in my mind is the best patient advocate I have ever encountered. Upon arriving at the appointment, the woman behind the desk offers no greeting, no smile as I walked in. I walked up to the desk and informed her that I had appointment. I fill out all the paperwork. Then she tells me there is likely going to be an additional $125 charge for an evaluation. None of this was mentioned beforehand had. This should have been mentioned before I made the appointment. Receptionist needs to learn to smile and offer a greeting when you are on a public-facing position and the company needs to present all fees up front.

She always worked with me about re scheduling my sessions when needed due to my work making my days less stressful. About my sessions: I was diagnosed with osteonecrosis. When I started my PT with Dr. Harvey Wallmann, my husband had to take me to my sessions in a wheelchair. Nobody could touch my knees because it hurt so much. Learning to mobilize was painful. I got very little sleep and I was afraid of even walking. Harvey (he wanted me to call him like that) was very professional, knowledgeable, and patient and so was the STI team Denise and John. After three months of 3 sessions per week, my Orthopedic Surgeon told me I have improved 7/10 which at my age I didn't expect it will be that much. Of course, I put my time and effort even when It was painful at the center as well as at home. I can sleep now, walk around the house and even walk around my neighborhood. I have just been discharged from my PT on my fifth month and can't wait to see my Dr. Tomorrow to confirm I'm fine now. I am using my guest room now as a permanent mini PT room where I keep doing what I learned. Health is everything and I feel blessed, humble, and grateful.

I see a lot of rave reviews on this practice and if it was about upbeat and friendly people then…read morethey warrant 4 or 5 stars. But if you are looking for personal treatment, an at-home treatment plan and a calm atmosphere, this is not the place. It is large and loud with blaring (often annoying) music, a gym-style environment with an assembly line approach to treatment. Most of the time you are one of 8 to 12 people on one of the many tables lined up in double rows. Behind the tables is a ledge where clipboards are set. The "doctor" you are assigned to may spend 10 minutes with you out of the 60 to 90 minutes you are there. All the rest of the care is done by techs and assistants. Behind you someone calls out, "what's next for ______?" You are given an exercise and then the assistant runs off to the next person. When you finish what you are doing, you sit or lay there until someone notices you need to do the next item. All the while the music is so loud it is hard to hear yourself think. Many of the chairs in the lobby are so rump-sprung that they are hard to get out of. Combine that with an injury that makes it hard to leverage yourself out of the seat and it is problematic. The place doesn't feel that clean, maybe because of the gym-like environment. If you want personal treatment, people who work with you one on one during your appointment time and a plan that you can take home to work on, I'd suggest somewhere else. After a few visits to Pritchette, I made the change and have been very happy with my decision. UPDATE: I read with interest the review by the lady who was sent a medical lien after her son visited the practice. We were the recipients of the same. Not knowing what this was about, we asked someone who knows. I would highly recommend that each person educate themselves on this issue.
