Looking out to the theater stage and water show that play into the night, Encanta is at the bottom level of the House of Music, providing guests with a leisurely paced fixed 8+ course meal celebrating flavors of Mexico. The start had dishes eaten with hands, and the latter parts were served with cutlery. Our meal consisted of fritters, tostadas, pork in 3 ways tucked in a little sandwich, beef cheek taco, tender pork tacos, coconut dessert, and a frozen chocolate dessert (see pics!). The flavors were fun to try and enjoyable. But some dishes didn't quite hit the spot; the pork sandwich was salted but lacked another dimension of flavor that a sauce or pickle could add, the chocolate dessert at the end was too icy for me, etc. but those are personal preferences. My favorite was the avocado tostada! It was beautiful and tasted very fresh :) Like most places in the park, they were able to accommodate food preferences / allergies with substitute dishes, so that was nice!
They don't have a drink menu but serve their house speciality margarita with margarita foam and a non-alcoholic charcoal lemongrass drink that were super tasty! I had a pastel purple drink of cream and lemongrass and saw several other types of drinks floating around.
The restaurant is open air / pretty much open to the outside but there's more AC the more inside you are. The mosquitoes got to us, but they had bug spray available that helped a lot! Our service was a little slow and our dinner stretched into 3 hours. Good company made it seem shorter, but just fyi!
Overall, 4.5 stars for me~ Definitely make reservations, as we saw a few parties turned away because they were booked up. read more
