We explored options in Ridgefield and found Fred Astaire. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and the pricing was reasonable, so we signed up for a package of classes. On our first day in the studio, we were greeted by Sebastian, who would be our instructor for the weeks ahead. He was incredibly friendly and empathetic to our lack of dance experience, making us feel comfortable from day one. After each class, we felt more confident and prepared for our big day. Sebastian was patient and even taught us moves we could use at other weddings in the future. We had so much fun learning from him and soaking in the vibe of the staff and the other (more professional!) dancers in the studio. We would 10/10 recommend Fred Astaire and Sebastian if you're looking to learn a thing or two about rhythm! I actually am nostalgic thinking of this time last year with them. Thank you!!!!

The monthly socials are so much fun. There is no pressure and we pay per lesson. We left a studio in Brewster that required extremely expensive contracts and demanded students take a minimum of two lessons a week! Deb's pricing allows students to take private or group lessons on their own terms. We take two private one hour lessons a month and attend the socials. There are group lessons almost every night of the week for those who choose that format. No partner required. Highly recommend !!!
