I was able to pick our venue, my dress, the bridesmaids and the colours but after that the stress was insurmountable for anything and everything else. It was only then I knew the stresses that came with planning a wedding, the finer and forgettable details and decisions that only those who ever had a wedding could ever know. And also those who plan weddings professionally and that was what I needed and that why having Jennifer as our wedding planner was the best decision we will always remember making. She made the impossible (having the most incredible wedding ever) possible. Agreeing to a theme wedding with my husband, I did not have to worry that it would be distracting or lend itself to be a corny or circus-like. It was actually elegant, classy and gorgeous in every way because of the collaborated vision from Jennifer and ourselves. She collaborated with us, recognized our style, and understood our needs and made it happen. She was an email or phone call away, always getting back to us quickly. She was like a best friend or sister that you would want by your side. The suggested vendors for the florist and the baker were agreed upon and they were wonderful. The set up and take down service helped take away the stress of asking our friends and family. I love that they have a table-making station where you can pair table linens with placemats, candle holders, and other festive decorations, and about a dozen or so tables are all dressed up for inspiration. For most items, you can rent the day before and return the day after, and almost anything about your order can be changed up until 48 hours before the event. That's very helpful for a bride with changing guest numbers!

We were totally blown away after our very first consultation meeting by how organized and professional she was, not to mention how bubbly and upbeat. She's been planning weddings for over 4 years, and has a thorough understanding of the wedding industry, and great connections and knowledge of local vendors and venues. Joelle was always there to lend a helping hand and make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the experience of getting married. Even little things like making sure nobody paddled off in our rental canoe, or shooing away wayward tourists who wandered into our wedding venue were handled with grace and professionalism. She wrangled our friends and family for all the family photos that we wanted, so that we had more time for couples' photos with our photographer. Our family and friends got along with her and thought she was great! Since our wedding, our families have told us they understand why we decided to get a wedding planner, and how wonderful and helpful Joelle was on our wedding day. As far as wedding planning goes, we would say that the whole process was about as painless as it could possibly be, and Joelle is the one responsible for that! One of the things we appreciated most was that Joelle really took the time to get to know us as a couple, and got an understanding of what our vision was for our wedding. The owners were a joy to deal with - extremely accommodating, helpful and always focused on making us happy. We had access to the location hours ahead - to transform the space to our own liking - and they even let us use some of their own decor and lights!!! Not to mention that we only had to remove what we brought in, the sweep & mop is included in rent!!! I will definitely keep returning to the Faculty and will keep recommending it to everybody I know - be it for a birthday shenanigans, hokey game watch party or a large turkey dinner. 10 out of 10.
