We purchased (4) of the children's white t-shirts that turn to color in the sun. Z, (not sure on this spelling) was the gentleman who helped us out. We were pressed for time & in a big hurry. I purchased (3) mens t-shirts.There was one I got for my husband that referred to drinking & even though he only drinks non-alcoholic beer the shirt was very fitting. I purchased another one for my grandson, can't recall what was on it. I don't have the shirts in front of me. Z had shown me one of a drinking skeleton that I didn't care. He showed me another drinking one that I really liked. I was purchasing that one for someone in my family as a Christmas gift. I double checked my receipt before I left the area & I was charged for an extra shirt I didn't want. Z was gracious enough to oblige me & accepted the return. As we were driving a distance away I decided to look at all my items. I was so disappointed to see in my bag was a tee that Z showed me & I didn't like at all. It had on the back this big hugh medallion of Madeira Beach. I didn't care for the color of the shirt, what it said & the design. I've been calling the store but nobody picks up. I need something to be done so that I may get the correct shirt I wanted. I don't know if there's a way that I may contact you to see how this mishap maybe corrected. I do appreciate your assistance in this matter. I have yet to rate your store, this is something I'll be happy to complete upon my problem being taken care of. Thank you. Sincerely, Christine E. UPDATE: I was recently in the area and decided to give this place another try. There was a nice…read morelamp in the window, so I asked to see it. The top where the wire comes out of the base was very wobbly and the shade could not sit square because the harp was on the wobbly bit. So, I looked online and it looked like I'd be able to fix it with parts from Home Depot or even Amazon. Maybe $15 or so. So I explained and asked if they take a little less for the lamp since I'd have to fix it for it to be usable. The woman on the desk called someone else. They went into the window and had a discussion. Came out, still no decision, had to make a call. Five minutes later the answer was "NO, if it's in the window we won't discount". Meanwhile, I was looking around as I waited. There was a single small martini glass priced at $6.50. It was a good quality glass but I've never seen a thrift store martini glass ( I collect them) priced so high unless it was etched crystal like Waterford. On the same table was an interesting looking vase from Germany with chips along the rim. $29! Idk. There was a polyester sleeveless top for $12 that couldn't have been more than $15 brand new. They must have someone who looks up stuff on EBay and other sites to see what people are asking for things in perfect condition or something. But, thrift stores run on donations. This one is way over priced. The staff are not friendly. The only I'd say has improved is the quality of the furniture. I really wanted to be able to upgrade my previous review because I don't like to give a bad review without checking back , but this place is just about the worst thrift store in the area. Unless you are a member of this church I'd say go elsewhere to spend your money.

Besides that, the owner waited for my son-in-law to pick it up, even after hours. My furniture was wrapped so that it would be transported without damage. I'll shop there again.

And best of all it was very reasonably priced. She uses a local mover to deliver, they did a Great job. She wrapped the piece very well for transport. This is a small local business that has beautiful repainted pieces and very high quality.p Like to support the local businesses and very glad I found this small hidden gem! Highly recommend.
