My husband and I have been getting arrangements from her for years, so when it came time for us to get married there was no question who we wanted to work with. She really is exceptional at what she does - a true artist. I gave a few notes on likes/dislikes but wanted to give Liz creative freedom and she really out did herself. She even met with us at Pleasanton rentals and helped us make some design choices so everything would be cohesive; such a nice touch. When I asked to make a couple adjustments and add ons in the final months, she was so accommodating. This review is way overdue! We had our wedding 6 months ago in October of 2021, but we began working with Liz in 2019 when we first got engaged. I LOVED how Liz and her team didn't shy away from color and always created beautiful arrangements with some funk-which was exactly what I wanted for our wedding. We first met Enchantment Floral @ Casa Real's vendor night and they were SO kind. From there, we were thrilled to book Enchantment Floral and begin our work with Liz. Liz is so kind, receptive, creative and really makes your vision come to life. For our Fall wedding, I wanted to play w/color, textures, heights and add some funk. We had bouquets, outdoor arrangements, hanging greenery and centerpieces all within a totally affordable budget which was so helpful as my husband and I were taking on the florist budget ourselves. I really wanted a pink peony somewhere in my bouquet since it was the first single flower my husband ever gave me when we first dated. Liz said it might be hard to come by in the Fall, but let me tell you, not only did Liz have a bright pink peony in my bouquet, she had them sprinkled throughout our wedding and they were STUNNING. She also added this beautiful baby pink pampas grass that gave my bouquet this subtle a-symmetrical shape, and it matched my pale blush a-symmetrical gown perfectly!! It was so cool. Liz outdid herself and everyone said our wedding was one of the most beautiful weddings they had attended- I KNOW Liz and her magic had a lot to do with that. To top it off, our wedding was pushed from 2020 to 2021 and Liz made it painless and stress-free the whole time. There are a lot of vendors to choose from for your special day, but working with someone this artistic, wonderful and who will make your day even more gorgeous than you imagined, is what really makes all the difference. The one request that my mother had for my wedding was that the flowers had to be top-notch. As an active artist and former environmental psychology lecturer, her voice reverberated in my head throughout the wedding planning process. As such, I can't say I wasn't a little bit nervous about this aspect of the special day. Enter Liz with Enchantment Floral. Liz came highly recommended to us by a close friend, whose wedding she also artfully decorated. That said, our ceremonies were completely different (hers was a major 300-guest celebration, while my wife and I were hosting a more intimate nighttime gathering in a smaller City-view space). Nevertheless, Liz went above and beyond on so many levels, knocking all our expectations out of the park. From the very beginning, she was incredibly flexible, able to work in phone meetings and electronic correspondences given the distance (she's based in the East Bay, we live in the Peninsula) and time constraints (my work schedule dictates I work crazy long hours and frequently on weekends). When I had last-minute changes to previously-decided plans (and a request for an entirely new arrangement for the processional), Liz never once complained, promptly providing updated costs and mock-ups of potential arrangements. On the day of the ceremony, I happened to sneak into the reception hall to get a sneak preview, and was blown away by what I saw. The floral arrangements were even bigger and more vibrant than those I'd expected based on the digital mockups, and the glass high vases were incredibly classy. We'd requested a runner for the head table, and the lush garland of foliage and petals could have stood on their own as a centerpiece. Lastly, we'd discussed having long cylindrical candles and candleholders, but Liz surprised us with floating votives in columns of water--in the low light of our venue, they almost appeared suspended in the air, giving the entire dinner an ethereal, otherworldly ambience. The wedding has been over three weeks ago and my family is still talking about the flowers. All in all, I could not possibly be happier with Liz. Her work ethic, her friendly, easygoing personality, and immaculate execution made working with her a true pleasure. She was prepared for the unexpected--one of my groomsmen suffered a corsage malfunction mere minutes before the processional, and though we fortunately did not need a new one, Liz had a repair kit packed and ready to go. OK OK OK..... I loved her a year ago and omg I love her so much now! My wedding was last weekend and holy crap, she couldn't have done any better! I've been planning events for over 20 years and have come across many floral designers but none can measure to Liz and Enchantment Floral. Amidst trying to plan a very tricky, COVID compliant backyard wedding, the florist we had backed out at the last second. On top of that, the bride and groom had a very specific vision that isn't just your every day wedding floral design. Love, love, love!! We have a weekly delivery set up with Enchantment Floral and every week they amaze us with beautiful flower arrangements. We order 6 arrangements each week and everyone from the CEO to the receptionist is happy with the designs. We have gone through our fair share of other companies and no one else was able to produce high quality, great designs and great pricing on a consistent basis. Liz has an eye for great design and she uses exotic flowers mixed with traditional flowers and it is the perfect combo. I can't exactly explain her style but it's somewhere between modern and romantic and all things beautiful. I found Liz through Tumbtack and I am so glad that I did! All of my communication with Liz was done through email since I live out of the country. She was excellent at helping me figure out what flowers to use and how the arrangements would look.
