Unfortunately, this is the second and last time we're ordering flowers from LVF. My husband surprised me with flowers for our anniversary from this florist and the first thing I thought when I saw the flowers is that they were very sparse. I didn't think anything of it again until my husband came home, saw the flowers, and said "that's it?". He showed me the order he placed for a premium bouquet and the flowers delivered looked nothing like that. They looked even smaller than a standard bouquet, with many gaps and only 3 tulips instead of 6. He called the florist and emailed them photos and they said they would pick up the original bouquet and deliver a new one. Around 5pm the florist came back with a new bouquet. It was much prettier than the first but definitely isn't a premium bouquet and doesn't match the colors that the bouquet should be. I received purple tulips instead of pink, only 5 tulips instead of 6, and different style of roses, and a different vase. This was clearly a bouquet made with whatever flowers they had available at the end of the day. My husband spent over $80 on this order and it did not live up to expectations. read more

Ordered the "Hugs and Kisses Bouquet with Red Roses-Deluxe" as pictured for local delivery for my wife. She received something totally different. I tried calling them and mailbox is full so couldn't leave a message and also emailed them with no response. There were no roses as you can see in the photo. Photos in the post is the actual beautiful bouquet and the other picture is i don't know what you want to call it. Very disappointed and most likely wont be using them in the future. We placed an order for flowers for my MIL for her birthday on Feb 13th. We recently moved to a different state so it was important that our well wishes be delivered to her in the form of flowers. We were patient all day, we thought they might be running late so we waited all day but by the time we called they were already closed. We didn't get a message or an email or a phone call about the cancellation either. We've called them multiple times without answer today. This is beyond disappointing. Way to ruin a special moment. I want to start by saying that my husband has ordered multiple bouquets from here over the last year or so and they've all been beautiful. That being said, yesterday absolutely ruined my opinion of this business and we will be buying our flowers somewhere else going forward. My husband ordered me flowers for Valentine's Day, as he does every year; he lives a few hours away right now for his work, so he really wanted to make it up to me by buying a $200 huge bouquet of roses to be delivered to my work. The flowers never showed up. I waited until 3:50, called, and someone picked up after the 7th call (their voicemail box is full). A man answered, told me that my order number wasn't theirs, and I told him I had an email from them with it. He said he'd look up my order and then call me back. Spoiler alert: he never called me back. At 4:40, I began trying to call again because they close at 5. No one answered or called me back at any point. I got off work at 3 and waited around at work until 5, just in case. They called today to offer a larger bouquet to make up for it, and we requested a refund. It was really upsetting. My husband has always sent flowers to me at work for Valentine's Day, birthdays, and major events. It was embarrassing for people to ask me where my flowers were, especially because he DID buy me flowers. At the very least, someone should have called him to let us know they wouldn't be delivered so he could send something else. He felt really guilty that I didn't get flowers and I was disappointed. read more

I reached out to Livermore Valley Florist with a request for a Batman wreath to have at my 5 year-old grandson's Celebration of Life event. We instead decided on different colored sprays that would have my grandson's favorite toys attached. I don't live in the area anymore so I had to get the toys to Susan. She offered to meet me half way to pick up the toys....which would have been almost an hour drive for her! I overnighted them instead....and what an incredible job they did. We were home all day and they came to drop off the flowers at 352 pm. My husband made reservations at Walnut Creek so we were not home at the time of delivery. Just a day before her birthday, I nearly received exactly what I ordered. All it took was one phone call. A call to verify what they had listed online. I basically ordered a Deluxe "Your Special Day" (T16-3A) for $62.95, plus delivery fee. The lady on the phone had to check to make sure she had the flowers shown in the picture. She explained she didn't have pink, but did have extra white daisies she can add. The birthday flower cake basically was suppose to be pink and lavender. Her special cake had lavender and white daisies, yellow roses, and spray chrysanthemums. I was only expecting lavender and white but didn't know they added the yellow roses. Nice touch! Even better was that it didn't look like all Laker colors, thank god! White candles, but advertised with pink. No big deal. It sits on a cake stand and all put together on a cushiony sponge. The cake was approximately 10 inches round. How freakin' sweet is that! Check out my pics. Everyone at her work loved it! It was a little different than your normal vase of roses. I ordered 2 dozen red roses from Livermore Valley Flortist for my sweetheart wife for last Valentine's Day. I have ordered a few bouquets from them before and was always impressed with the freshness of their flowers. The beautiful arrangement arrived as scheduled on 2/14 and it was well received by my wife. But after just a few days, the roses had not started to open at all. Then after about 5 days, despite our changing out the water regularly each day, the roses all drooped over and looked very sad. I sent a message to the florist that I was disappointed by this particular purchase. They responded quickly and offered to send another fresh display. The next day, they delivered another batch of roses, very fresh and very beautiful. Free of charge! These roses lasted a long time. I was honestly very excited to order my flowers from here after having seen the beautiful work they did for my sisters wedding last year, but I was unfortunately pretty disappointed by my experience here. To start, I wanted a quote before ordering my flowers, which seemed reasonable to me, but it took over a month to get the quote and I ended up having to go into the shop only to be told they'd get back to me via email (which they hadn't responded to initially). The quote was expensive for the amount of flowers I had requested, but hey, ideally you only buy wedding flowers once, right? The flowers I had requested were slightly off season. I wanted peach Daliahs for my late May wedding, but I was told they weren't guaranteed as Daliah season is often June. So I knew this was a possibility. What I was not expecting was a very pink bouquet that didn't match between my bridal/bridesmaids bouquets and the boutineers, most specifically my husbands orange-ish boutineer, which fell off of its' base immediately post ceremony and had to be pinned and taped to hold up through pictures. At the end of the day, there were so many things going on during wedding day that it was by no means a make or break the wedding deal, but it was definitely disappointing. After the wedding, I put the flowers in a vase to enjoy for some time after the wedding, but they didn't have much life to them and only lasted about 3 days before they were so dead that pieces started flaking off onto the table. The flowers I purchased at the grocery store and used to make my own centerpieces held up significantly better and are still sitting in a vase after over a week. I'm not sure what happened between my sisters wedding and mine, but I don't know that I will be coming back after my experience. read more

They told me I had to pay again as they don't see anything. I gave them the card number by phone and the flowers were delivered as requested. The next Monday I have two charges on my card. I called them to have them refund me but they said they only see one payment. Very unconcerned and no help to me. I am now forced to deal with a dispute and waste my time.
