I am so glad to have these fine firefighters so close to my home…read more The building is new and architecturally beautiful. It is days like today that I want to stop and thank the fire station for everything that they do.

This message is not just a review as it is a plea to Cease and desist from all First Responders and…read morepeople associated with them. As an African American male and being child of Civil Rights activates I have experienced unacceptable behavior from organizations people would never suspect and I will try and explain as much as I can in this review since there is so much more to this problem that needs to be addressed. For the last 5 years I have underwent the utmost hostile behavior from the people who drive and operate AMBULANCES and FIRE TRUCKS. It first started when they would show up everywhere I was going no matter where I was on the cost of California. At first they would follow me to the grocery store, mall, parks, restaurants. Now, they started showing up at my job and my home. With that being said, there isn't much that goes on in my area so they pretty much sit around all day waiting for me to leave my house or work to come find me and harass me by blowing threw traffic with their sirens, terrifying people and almost casing collisions and driving toward traffic on the opposite side of the lane just to get to where I'm at on the road and pretend to almost run into me blowing their horns just to turn off there sirens a second later like nothing happened leaving everyone in confusion. This has been happening to me everyday for years and has almost caused me to wreck numerous times. I've been forced to drive with a dash cam for my own safety against the very people who are supposed to be our hero's. On that note, they have been following me to my home waiting for me to come out of my house where they would be blowing there horns and sirens until I would go back inside or get in my car to go to work. This would even take place at my job. If you take a look at the people on the fire departments squads or the people inside the Fire Trucks and Ambulances in San Diego County they are all Caucasian leaving a desensitization towards the needs of minority groups as we all know and has been proven throughout history. With that being said, theses organizations also have patterns as well, harassing me more when Holidays come around or political events such as the 2020 election where I was harassed to the point where I had to call in the police station ON THE FIRE DEPARTMENT to introduce myself and explain my concerns to the supervising officer since the police also started joining in the hostile behavior I mentioned earlier to the point where I was FEARING FOR MY LIFE. I have even filed a police report about their misconduct. Usually, after the completes are made they would stop harassing me for a while then come right back for that this point I don't think they have the ability or know how to stop harassing me even if they tried. Fortunately, I have discovered threw on duty officers as well as retired police veterans, who resigned because they didn't want to be apart of the corruption that goes on in these organizations, that the Fire Department shares personal information and location serves threw everyone of our cellphones from the police stations illegally and with out a warrant everyday. This is how they were showing up everywhere I was going and where they would then stock for me until I came out of any building where they would then blowing their horns/sirens and chasing me acting like they were going to harm me with their vehicles. I have many audio/video recoding of them blowing their horns/sirens at me in different locations including my job and work. On a side note, this personal information even leaks out to common folk and groups like BIKER CLUBES, that consist of off duty or retired veterans and even pedestrians who ride Harley Davidsons who have been illegally stalking me everywhere as well. It's unfortunate that the Chiefs of these organizations dont have a grasp of their teams and let them run rampant while wearing a badge that suppose to mean "Serve and Protect". Then when something happens or things get out of hand they are forced to resign or get terminated. Unfortunately, these organizations often retaliate and are vengeful to who ever speaks up against them as displayed during the last few years befor, during and after the election. Luckily, there are review friendly systems inline that provide a paper trail and are viewed world wide forever. For any Journalist, News Organization, Civil Rights group etc who would one day like to know even more of what is going on behind the scenes or need a statement to any active civil suite against theses organizations please drop your credentials and reach out to me threw the comments. You can also find me on yelp where I will be placing future reviews as my experience get worse.

Efficiency Is Winning…read more I had a positive experience at this Social Security office, especially considering the reputation these offices sometimes get. I live in Downtown San Diego but I needed an appointment within 2 weeks. Q: How long did it take to make the appointment? A: The phone call to reschedule the appointment took about 45 minutes, which honestly was the least efficient part of the process. This could definitely be improved. Q: Was parking difficult? A: Not at all. Parking was easy and convenient when I arrived. Q: Did they take walk-ins? A: Yes. The security guard asked whether I had an appointment or was a walk-in. When I arrived around 10:30 a.m. on a Friday, there was only one person waiting for walk-in services. By the time I left, there were about seven people waiting, so it definitely became busier closer to 11:30 a.m. I don't know the wait time for walk-ins, though. TIP: The first seatingrow closest to the kiosk is the waiting row/line for walk-ins Q: Were you seen on time? A: Yes, actually earlier than my appointment time because I arrived early. That was impressive. Q: What was the office environment like? A: The office was clean, organized, and calm. Even the bathrooms were clean. Q: How was the staff? A: Excellent. The security guard was firm but personable and maintained order without making the environment uncomfortable. I was helped at Window 6, and although I unfortunately didn't get the gentleman's name, he was , thorough and professional without judgment. Q: What was your appointment for? A: I was submitting documentation related to conservatorship and was also able to get a copy of a benefits verification letter during the same visit. TIP: be clear on your appointment description because that will determine how much you can get done in one appointment. Q: How long did the actual appointment take? A: About 30 minutes total, and it moved quickly because I brought all the required documentation with me. Q: Was check-in easy? A: Yes. There is a self check-in kiosk, and you may also receive a QR code by text. I used the kiosk without any issues. Just make sure you have your Social Security number available. Overall, I would recommend this location. I need an appointment in San Diego within 2 weeks and this was the only location that was available The actual in-office process was efficient, organized, and much smoother than expected. My biggest recommendation would be: bring all your documents and mid morning appointments may be best. Parking lot was full at 11:35 a.m. "Efficiency matters when people are navigating important life situations."

First I just want to say the security is a nice guy and tried to be very helpful. That being said…read morethe SSA in Oceanside has been remodeled inside from the last time I saw it it now looks like a jail. And the worse is that unless you have an appointment your not getting nothing done that day. I was the first person in the door when they first opened and they told me that what I needed to get done could not get done in person and that they were scheduling me a phone appointment because what I need done can only be done over the phone now. The next day very early in the morning I get a call from the SSA telling me that my phone appointment was being changed to a in person appointment because I needed to do it in person. Lol I told them I was in there the day before and their employee working intake told me I couldn't do it in person. So they told me just to come in person which I did but yea someone gave me false info and made me make 2 trips when I could have got everything done in the 1st trip. But they just want to push people out and force them to schedule appointments.

PD can write tickets for camping after 10pm so thanks for the 25 minute grace period officer K. Colburn #0095. No attempt to speak to me or verify I was in the vehicle. Around 6am the next morning I see the ticket Mr. Colburn left for me along with two more tickets. One was written at 5:58am again for camping in my vehicle and the name is illegible looks like "OW" and badge number also illegible looks like "2191" or "2491" hilarious because everything else they wrote on the ticket is perfectly readable. The third ticket was written two minutes later at 6:00am by officer Guerra #2442. He discovered a new law I was breaking and delivered the city some justice by giving me a third $42 fine. He found that I was in a red zone. By a couple feet! On a very busy street where parking COMPLETELY in the red is commonplace. But I digress, I paid that one. Before I could properly appeal these I had to email this code compliance officer. Another long story but he was nearly useless. He gave me a "one time courtesy for the second camping ticket and upheld the original. After 4 time asking him for the officers evidence he finally told me to file a proper appeal at a court in Newport Beach???? So I did that and asked for the officers evidence and it was upheld because I didn't have evidence I'm not in the van. Sorry but what kind of shit is that??? Basically saying a cop can write a ticket for absolutely anything they feel like and they can get away with it unless proven guilty of HARASSMENT and PROFILING. Never again will I be honest with a cop, cooperate with your needs, or show any kind of respect. At least not in this jurisdiction I should say. I tried to tell you guys that I was unaware of the law and was not formally informed of the law and no evidence was ever provided to me and I tried to explain I'm just going through a difficult time and I'm here trying to empathize with an officer forcing me to donate $42 x3 to the city of SOLANA BEACH LOL

Left on Read by the Law…read more I've had lousy help from the Encinitas sheriffs with serious issues before, so when an on-duty officer gave me his number, I thought I'd give them one more chance. He was sweet, we texted... and then crickets. Guess follow-through isn't their strong suit, on duty or off. 10/10 would NOT recommend.
