When my number was called the staff member at the window was kind and answered all the questions I had. The transaction was fairly quick and easy. I always try to visit between 1 pm and 3 pm when the line is a little shorter.

There's a note that says to ring the bell first before you put it in the bin. So they can see and check that you have it correctly in a sealed zip lock bag. I feel relief it's discarded properly and not in the trash or toilet.

Instead of actually patrolling they sit and wait at stop signs on streets then nobody's driving on just to see how many people they can give a ticket instead of patrolling on the busier streets where people actually run the stop signs. They wait in parking lots of establishments to harass people walking out of bars or other restaurants instead of patrolling. When one person it's pulled over for a basic traffic stop it's not uncommon for about five cop cars to swarm that same person for a minor speeding offense like a hive of bees. Some of them don't even abide by their own traffic laws this includes cutting people off, speeding using their cell phones. One officer actually parked in front of a grocery store in the Red Zone just to go inside and Shop. It is a do as I say not as I do type of agency. It does no good to complain or file any sort of formal grievance because the same Bad actors will still be in power unfortunately. Instead of protecting and serving they bully people or don't help the ones who are really distressed.

He was very patient with the boys, and was certainly amiable and pleasant to talk to. The grounds of the area were a great space for the boys to play an impromptu game of soccer while waiting for the meeting to start. The inside offices were as expected, and the meeting hall itself looks imposing and official. Not sure there is any reason for me to visit again (since I am not a resident of Poway to begin with). But it was a great introduction to politics to the boys who, hopefully, will become our future policymakers someday.

It's the perfect spot for family picnics, bike rides, or just spending a relaxing afternoon outside. There are also some great, yummy restaurants nearby, which makes it easy to turn your visit into a full day out. I do photography as a hobby, and this is one of my favorite locations to shoot--the scenery is beautiful, so much variety, and has so much character. Overall, it's a charming, relaxing place that I always enjoy coming back to.

There is a giant gazebo where a young musician was singing her heart out. There is a working old train, you can pay to take a ride around the park. I had an appointment and I still had to wait about an hour to be seen because they didn't have enough staff. The place was clean and there's a lot of parking. My only gripe is that there's no public restroom. A place where people have to wait a long time, should have a public restroom. Sometimes you just got to Go! When I got there I had to use the restroom (nerves). I probably had that LOST look and I was asked if I was looking for the passport office. The two or three women who were there, we very friendly. I find that most of my experiences with USPS tends to be human related annoyances combined with poorly operated bureaucratic nonsense. First, tell me why, two letter sized parcels cost me close to $50 to mail??? Thats some serious nonsense. Deduct one star for the price. My first letter sized package had a button in it and because of this, the clerk at the desk told me it won't go thru scanner and it has to be mailed as a package and because of this, it costs $10. I was like okay. Deduct another star for that. I had to mail some documents overnight and for it to arrive the next day, it cost $35. That seemed ok to me, I guess. Still highway robbery to mail some paper, but whatever USPS. Another star deducted. This is a nice post office on top of the hill, lots of parking available, but its a bit of a walk to the main area. I don't mind but it might not work for those who have limited mobility. You can get passports here, there's a bunch of PO boxes, self service kiosks, mailing supplies. I might be a very disgruntled American but seriously how are the prices long term sustainable? This is a government service which I belive this current administration is trying to privatize, but really?? Don't count on me making any regular visits or wanting to mail anything, because everytime I come, I have to forfeit a kidney or 3.

They also have coloring pages available for kids. It's always organized and tidy. The staff here is what makes the library. They're always so kind, I've never had a negative interaction. The library is very bright and open with lots of natural light overhead. They also have an outdoor area that's gated in which is nice if your littles need to run around. It is so easy to out books on hold and just quickly pop in to pick them up. They're quick about…read moregetting the books you place on hold. Their staff is kind and helpful. And now they automatically renew your books when you're about to be late in returning them, so that's an extra bonus. I accidentally handed in a book to this library that was supposed to have been turned into a local elementary school library. That library told me later that someone from the CMR public library had hand delivered it to the elementary school. Now that's what I call service!!

The library appears well-organized, but it was somewhat noisy for a weekday early afternoon.
