I had a wonderful experience with Dr B's staff today. I was running a little late this morning and I called in to let them know, and they said it was not going to be a problem. When I pulled into the building and parking was easy, and I walked right into the lobby of the building. As soon as I walked in, the staff was very friendly in greeting me. The decorated suite itself was very well lit very clean. Everything seems to be l shiny and new and plenty of seating. I got checked in and taken into a treatment room very quickly. I received x-rays and a few minutes after that Dr. B came in to give me his assessment. During this entire time I felt very comfortable in this environment. I usually have a lot of anxiety going to the dentist however, due to the way I was treated, the exam room environment, and feeling confident in the equipment that was being used in addition to Dr. B's interaction with me - I feel very very comfortable. Before leaving I set up my follow up appointments and I also got my parking validated, which is a very nice surprise and doesn't happen that much in this side of town. Big Shut out to Dr. Steven Donia!!!! I am the worst when it comes to the dentist. Dr. Donia was extremely patient and understanding and i did not feel a thing during the treatment. He numbed only the one tooth which required treatment which is so cool and you do not have to spend the rest of day drooling and half face frozen. He was gentle and quick. I was out in less than 30 minutes (i think) which is phenomenal. Hands down the best dentist experience i had! I will be back from my cleaning and crown. 100% recommended! read more

DDS Elnaz Hendifar is a thorough, efficient, and talented dentist. She and her staff run a tight ship. She took the time to explain to me in great detail what was going on, my options, recommended how to proceed, and asked my input as to the the final course of action. She seems to genuinely take an interest in each patient so I didn't feel like I was providing her with 32 additional patients. Upon arrival, I'm greeted right away. I'm never in the waiting area more than 15-20 minutes before I'm taken back for my appointment. My followup appointments are scheduled right away. Encino Tower Dental is by far the best dental office I have ever been to. I live in Lancaster, 1 hour away from them, and a year ago needed someone asap to get me in and they had an opening and now I drive here just for my cleanings. That is how great they truly are. Becca is my hygienist and she always makes me feel at home and more than just a person cleaning my teeth. I have the worst gums (I hate brushing and flossing with a passion) and she is always so patient with me. The front desk staff Rosie and Vernetta are great and always have a smile on their faces and make you feel very welcomed. And while I don't get to talk much to Dr. Donia, (i think that's a good thing haha) he is always so nice and you can tell he loves what he does. It's such a shame that the billing and management of this office are so deceptive. I showed up for appointments to see the dentist and was told the dentist wasn't there, I was charged interest for services I paid in full for, on and on. Save yourself hours of torment. FEAR THE DENTIST NO MORE!!!!... I like to thank Dr. Hendifar, Melissa, Anna, Roseanna and All the employees here at this office they are the absolute best! I went in for a deep cleanings and a couple fillings, needless to say I was uneasy about it,like most of us, it had been years since my last dentist visit but they took great care of me. Definitely one of the best dentist experiences I've ever had.Dr. Hendifar is super friendly and professional, I felt so comfortable and safe in her hands, she made sure I wasn't in pain and was very considerate, she gave me excellent advice in keeping my oral hygiene and answered all my questions. Heard about this place on pandora, they offered free teeth whitening kit for new customers so I thought let's give this place a try. Nelly I believe is the manager was friendly and able to get my in right away! The office is brand new, has a cool decor vibe that's fresh and vibrant. Everyone is super friendly, I loved the woman who did my x rays, Nicole. But honestly everyone their is super friendly and concerned with making you feel comfortable and happy. The reason why I give 2 stars which makes me feel very disappointed I have to do so because I really liked this place is because there diagnosis on my results. I went to a second dentist for a second opinion after I already had my fillings at Encino, come to find out I still had more fillings that needed to be done (or was purposely missed. Ill never know) Along with that, one of the fillings I had done at Encino was done either half fast or she really wasn't paying attention. I had a cavity that caved in the center of my tooth and she just put fillings right over it. It was so bad, the dentist I went for a second look said it was very possible if he didn't check it I may have lost my tooth. I was upset, and disappointed because your suppose to have trust in your dentist, thank god I went to another one for a second look. On top of that they charge me $ 20 per tooth for white fillings, at the new dentist he charge me $ 0 with my same insurance. Hmm. Weird. The only thing that I am happy about going to Encino is my free teeth whitening kit. Sorry ladies, I hate leaving bad reviews but I feel people should know my experience especially because I really like this office until I got a second opinion. read more

I thought this was all a sham. I heard about Encino Tower Dental from Pandora and decided to look up their reviews. All reviews have five stars, so I figured that they were forcing people to write the reviews after giving them laughing gas. So, let me first say that I am not on any laughing gas or anything, and I am giving 5 stars. If I could give more, I would. My initial contact was with Anna, the office manager. I submitted a request for an appointment online and did not leave my phone number but left my email. Within five minutes I had received a response, and she and I ended up emailing back and forth at least 10 times. I ended up even having to move my appointment back a week due to not being able to take off work, and where most representatives would have showed annoyance, she was 100% understanding and accommodating. I really felt like I was talking to a friend. Bonus points for Anna! The day before my appointment, I received the standard confirmation call for my time slot from Anna. She was very friendly as always. The real kicker here was that I was very rushed, and I think she could tell, so she was very prompt and respectful of my time during that call. Later that night I received a call from THE DENTIST HERSELF to introduce herself! I have never, never, ever had a doctor/dentist call me to introduce themselves. At this point, I thought to myself: "Hmm...Maybe they are a 5-star company..?" I walked into the office 10 minutes before my appointment because I had rightfully assumed there would be paperwork to fill out. As I walked in, Anna and another girl (Julie) both said "Hi Cristina!" as if I've been going there my whole life. I loved this. Then, both girls stood up and shook my hand to properly introduce myself. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. I filled out some paperwork, which took less than five minutes, and handed it to the girls. Before I could even sit down, a Dental Assistant, Brian, was shaking my hand and introducing himself. They took my X-Rays, which didn't hurt at all like it usually does. Therefore, it was completely unnecessary to ask me "Are you okay? Are you comfortable?", but they did anyways at least five times during that procedure. They then took me to the back to one of those dentist chairs. Again, before I could even sit down, there is the Dentist shaking my hand and introducing myself. She then took her time to explain to me in laments terms everything she was looking at and for in my x-rays. Again, I have never had a dentist be so accommodating and service-ful. I ended up needing one cavity filled and one "sealant", and I had a "calcalus" (which was very thoroughly explained to me by the dentist during my X-Ray). I got all of these taken care of during this FIRST appointment. It could have been a total inconvenience to them to have me there for as long as I was (x-rays, deep cleaning, sealant, cavity filling, and taking impressions all took about an hour and a half) but they NEVER showed it. They were very fast but still super attentive. I cannot express how happy I am to be a client of Dr. Elnaz Hendifar. Again, let me say that this is NOT a sham. This place and ALL of its employees are wonderful. read more

Dr. Hendifar and her staff are amazing! My son had a bad accident when he was two and lost all of his front teeth. His permanent teeth didn't have baby teeth to follow in, so they came in all crocked. Putting braces on him twice while he was growing, it wasn't enough to straighten or fix damaged teeth. There was really nothing more we could do until he reached the age where his teeth were considered "adult" and wouldn't grow anymore. When he turned 21, I took him to Encino Tower Dental and Dr. Hendifar gave us a year to eighteen month plan whereby she and her colleague (Dr. Alfred Penhaskashi - did surgery, gum and bone preparation) would give him the smile he should have with implants. it was a long process for him but today, he has an amazing smile and something I always wanted him to have. Throughout the fourteen months, Dr. Hendifar explained, in detail, the process, the objective, the hurdles to overcome and the goal.
