I tried to work out a damage issue directly with them but they refused to take responsibility. I finally had to take them to small claims court for all the damage they did to my house and fence while clearing the lot beside me. My neighbors took several pictures and wrote an eye-witness affidavit stating the damage they saw being done. When I took them to small claims court with Judge Grammer, the judge threw out my pictures and affidavit since I was not personally eye-witness to the damage. All Sikes would say is that the damage was there when they arrived even though the pictures proved that it wasn't. You make yur own choice but hopefully this will keep someone else having a problem with this company that prefers lies to being responsible for their actions.

Mr Sikes employee Paul, rear ended my vehicle on a weekend in April 2014 when he should not have been driving his company truck...Paul gave us his insurance information and when I filed a claim he denied it. He also hit the vehicle hard enough to cause my daughter to have to go to the Chiropractor 3 times a week for 2 months. I had proof and a confession from the employee Paul, who hit my vehicle but Mr Sikes refused to right his employee's wrong. I even agreed to work on a cash basis instead of through insurance and only asked them to fix my bumper for $500... Only $500! I was being kind. I understand running a business can be stressful, I didn't want to cause any more stress for Mr Sikes... I called a few times to try and get the issue resolved and after a few back and forth calls and emails Mr Sikes responded with "frankly I don't give a damn, harassing me and my employees! I'm done!" Maybe Mr Sikes needs to stop acting like a victim and own up to his employees mistake? He even admitted to me that he believed me over his employee Paul... However, I decided due to my husband deploying and me being ill that it was too much for me to deal with so I dropped the case. I thought I would get this information out there because honestly, would you want someone that unprofessional working for you?? I certainly wouldn't. Very unprofessional, zero integrity and very dishonest. Sounds like a business everyone should stay away from!

We do not want anyone that reads this to experience what we have been through. To put a very very long story short, we signed a contract in July 2020 to build a 12 x 22 screened porch on the back of our home and as of October 2021 the project is still not complete and has not had proper inspections. Every step of the way there have been disappointments and setbacks that could've been avoided with the proper contractor supervision. Numerous subcontractors have walked off of this job due to lack of being paid and in turn left our backyard destroyed and trashed. There will always be somewhere else he has to be and your concerns are clearly not apart of his agenda. We have numerous emails and text communications pleading the contractor to please help finish this project and what we have gotten back in return we consider a slap in the face. His responses, when given, are short, unprofessional and in no way true or helpful to your project unless he's coming to your job site to pick up a check. You will be lied to, led on, stressed to the max and worried more about what he is (or is not) doing at your home than anything else. Save yourself the time, money, and stress and find a reliable and professional contractor. We have been now tasked with paying out of our own pocket even more money to correct the things that this company will not fix albeit a part of a signed contract which clearly means nothing. At the time this review is being posted, the contractor recently agreed to pay us a portion of the repairs, and while he has made a small initial payment, he has now reneged on his word and informed us that he will be hard pressed to honor this agreement and "doesn't have that kind of money laying around." We are in process of reporting his business license to all applicable agencies and taking legal action.

Wade took all of the insurance claim money as well as duped me into fronting him some of my own savings. In the end we were left with unfinished stairs, flooring that is lifting all over, chipped baseboards and the whole interior house needs to be repainted. Additionally he never even started the detached garage or shed, both of which were paid for in the insurance claim. Do not trust Wade...he is a liar and his work is terrible.
