I have had root canals in the past without problems. On one such occasion, three years ago, I was referred to an endodontist in the Portland area. At the last minute my appointment was switched by their office from the endodontist my dentist referred me to, to a different endodontist within the same practice. To say he was unprofessional in his manner and aroused a feeling in me that he was not as competent in his skills as I had expected is to say the least. I have since had two friends tell me they had similar experiences with the same endodontist. That appointment left me with severe apprehensions about ever having to go to another endodontist in this area if need should arise. Unfortunately, the need did arise, and my dentist reassured me when she referred me this time to Oak Hill Endodontics that whomever I got an appointment with, either Dr. Tangredi or Dr. Sebow, they would allay my concerns. My appointment was with Dr. Tangredi and from the moment he and his assistant, Sherri, introduced themselves and I explained my concerns I became completely comfortable. They took the time to listen, really LISTEN, and throughout the whole procedure Dr. Tangredi gave me the information and consideration I feel an exceptional professional affords their patients. I also was completely reassured with his professional ability. I realize in today's modern world sometimes we, as patients, must personally decide to put aside our need for "bed-side" compassion and accept certain behaviors to have competent, at least, professional skills. That is not the case if you become a patient of Dr. Tangredi at Oak Hill Endodontics. I found he considers the patient's emotional needs in addition to their endodontic problems. Dr. Tangredi is a combination of the best; applying his superior professional skills understand the patient's emotional needs within the situation I feel we are indeed fortunate to have in this area such an exceptional professional.

Mine was outstanding, so I feel compelled to talk about it. I had to have two teeth pulled and 5 cavities filled. Yes, what a mess--everyone remember to brush AND floss! All the procedures have been completed except for 2 fillings. The staff is always consummately professional, and also reassuring and kind. My anxiety levels for going to the dentist are beyond ridiculous - bordering a phobia - and when I told them this, they did their absolute best to put me at ease (and they succeeded). In fact, this last visit, I opted to have two teeth worked on at the same time instead of two separate visits even though that meant I'd be in the dentist chair for a bit longer. Huge kudos to Bryce for being so kind and fun during my initial cleaning, as well as the other staff members whose names I didn't get. You all really did a great job, and I appreciate it.

I can't speak to every patient's experience, but mine matched what I've since read about this chain's treatment plans for new patients. If you've been given a large quote here, you have the legal right to request your records and get an independent opinion. Do that before signing or paying anything.

The staff are INCREDIBLY nice and accommodating, and you can tell that they really have a passion for what they do. Whenever I go, I always get Michelle as a dental hygienist and she is fantastic at what she does. She always makes sure to tell you what she is seeing and why she is doing what she is doing, but she doesn't expect you to talk back, which is nice. There is nothing worse than having a hygienist who wants to have a conversation with you while their hands are all up inside your mouth. Michelle will take pauses and ask questions to get to know you, which is a nice added touch. Dr. Kivus is incredibly personable and makes an effort to get to know every one of his patients. It's these little personal touches that make Gannett Drive Dental what it is. I will definitely be a faithful patient to Gannett Drive Dental.

She was so friendly and helpful! She set me and my husband up with appointments, took some basic information down and mailed out our new patient forms promptly. I had my first routine cleaning today and I had a very positive experience overall. I was greeted upon entry, the waiting area was clean and comfortable and my wait wasn't long. The dental hygienist, Gina, was friendly, kind and did a great job cleaning my teeth. I didn't experience any discomfort. She listened to my concerns and addressed them patiently, professionally and knowledgeably. Dr. Fillebrown was also very kind, patient, friendly and knowledgeable. I was pretty anxious initially but after awhile I found myself much more at ease. I'm very happy with my experience and would highly recommend Gannett Drive Dental.

They dropped me as a patient without telling me because I hadn't been to visit enough for their cash registers. Very disappointed and still have a broken crown (that they apparently did it wrong) or the cap wouldn't have fallen off? Sorry, Don't recommend.
