I love the quality of care and how respectful the whole staff is toward patients. I have had such anxiety around dentist for years! A lot of drama from Viet Nam and the whole staff got me through this ..one step at a time ,always respecting my wishes. I spent 40 years avoiding this group of professionals and amazed ar how far they have brought me. From the front office group to all those that treated me I owe a debt of gratitude. read more

10 stars if I could! I chipped my front tooth unexpectedly last night and they were able to fit me in today, this morning and fixed my tooth all before noon. WOW! On top of that the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Dr McVety and his team were fantastic to work with. Rob's work was clean, precise, fast and painless! I'll be recommending this practice to my friends and family. I look forward to being their patient moving forward. read more

When Dr. Rob McVety decided to open his Falmouth dental office in 2019, he knew he wanted to incorporate all of the most innovative dentistry technologies. However, he also wanted to offer comfortable dentistry services in a dental office that would make patients feel like they were embarking on a spa day instead of going to the dentist. From the moment you walk through our doors, you will feel welcome, relaxed, and completely at ease. Dr. McVety earned his doctoral degree through the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, and he has advanced training in a wide range of complex dentistry services. From checkups and teeth cleanings to dental implants and cosmetic smile makeovers.

Meet the Business Owner: Rob M.

When he isn't busy at the practice, Dr. McVety enjoys going running with his rescued Black Lab mix, Baxter. He is a big animal lover! His favorites are alpacas and giraffes, both of which he has met upclose and personally. He is also a big eater and loves spending time at all the restaurants that the Portland area has to offer - he has a particular affinity for gelato. His other hobbies include skiing, traveling, and fishing. In fact, he just recently tried his hand at paddle board fishing and discovered a whole new adventure he now loves. Photography is another pastime he enjoys. He has fine-tuned his skills for use both in and out of the dental office. Some of his work is even featured throughout the website! Dr. McVety is also passionate about volunteering. He regularly provides care at a free dental clinic called Oasis in Brunswick, Maine. In the past, he's gone on service trips to Honduras and Uganda for the same purpose.
