The Energy team was just incredible and absolutely made my daughter's bat mitzvah. Our daughter said her celebration was the most fun party she'd ever been to. But our family and our guests had just as much fun. So many of our guests commented on how amazing Nick was, everyone loved the music, and the dancers were so great. Many friends wanted to know which company we used, and one already called Energy about their 4th of July party. I couldn't have pulled off this bat mitzvah without Energy Productions, specifically Amadea. I had a lot going on leading up to the event, and I knew I wouldn't have as much time to devote to planning as I'd like. Hiring Energy is like hiring a bat mitzvah planner AND DJ/MC/hype company. I knew I didn't have to reinvent the wheel, and they kept everything very manageable and predictable leading up to the big day. They understood what we were going for (not trying for over-the-top), and worked with us to make their services fit exactly what we needed, and never pushed anything we didn't want. Every single person -- owner, office manager, DJ, emcee, dancers -- was the ultimate professional and the very best at what they do. My husband and I could not recommend Energy productions more. They were SO amazing to work with. Brad and Amadea did such a great job helping us organize our wedding. They were so detail oriented and kept asking questions to make sure the day was perfect and they had all their facts in order. We were worried about our dance floor at the wedding because the outside part of our venue was so beautiful. However, Josh kept every single guest on the dance floor all night. I am updating my rating and review of Energy Productions. Coming off the high of our son's bar mitzvah, I loved Energy, Brad, and the team. We immediately signed on to use them again for our daughter's bat-mitzvah, and we were excited. And we put down a deposit for these services. Two years later, we had some changes in our life and decided not to have a reception for our daughter's bat-mitzvah. When we contacted Brad for a refund (six months before the bat-mitzvah date), he told us that he couldn't do this, but would apply the money towards other services we needed at any time. Perhaps we want a small event for her? Or maybe there is a future event that we could apply the funds to. He also gave us some examples of other clients (quite frankly in much more difficult situations than ours, with severe family medical issues) where he wouldn't offer any refunds. A month before the bat mitzvah, we asked Energy for a photo booth, so we could apply some of out initial deposit towards the event. The company couldn't find one for us, but didn't let us know until 2 days before the bat-mitzvah. They said they'd help us, but really didn't seem to make an effort. Am I glad that I used them for our son's bar mitzvah? Absolutely. I deeply regret paying them a deposit for my daughter's and I strongly suggest, that if you choose to use Energy, you don't provide them with any deposit money until you are absolutely certain that the event is happening. Financial changes, medical expenses, or other unforeseen events aren't really considered when deciding to offer a refund. They just don't do it. Frankly, I'm surprised by this. The level of service we received was amazing, up until this point. I thought they were a different company. I guess we were wrong. read more

Brad and his team handled the party for my daughter's bat mitzvah this past weekend, and it was an epic party. We had 120 people, from age 101 down to toddlers, and they were all out on the dance floor the entire time. The dj and emcee were fantastic - I think the older folks were surprised at how much they danced to the "kids" music. And the dancers got everyone involved and connected with everyone. We used their video montage services and also their photo booth, and both were huge hits. We had a big group from SoCal who have been to a lot of mitzvahs, and they all said that this was the best they had ever attended. Thanks so much to the entire Energy team. Josh & Energy Productions put the Master in MC. Our wedding reception was as successful, seamless and joyous as it was thanks to Josh's extraordinary talents and professionalism. To put this into perspective: my conservative parents wanted nothing to do with dancing and music. By the end of the night, I saw my dad go and shake hands with Josh and later told me how exceptional he was. The energy in the room was so lively and heightened due to his expertise and he never once did anything that would go against our wishes. He followed our desires to the T, was extremely organized and timely and brought so much joy on our special day. The only time I was displeased was when the clock struck 11 and we had to wrap it up. I cannot tell you how many compliments we received about our DJ and reception program, which was orchestrated and executed by Josh. I would not dare to consider another production company for my future events, nor should you. Energy Productions provided the entertainment for my twins' B'nai Mitzvah yesterday. WHAT A PARTY! Brad got all of the kids involved immediately and they danced until the very last song! I had very specific ideas about how I wanted the flow of the party to go, and it wasn't traditionally what Energy was used to, but they listened to my needs and they did exactly what I asked and I couldn't be more thrilled with how my party turned out! Dancers Alan and Josh were amazing and had such a great energy between the two of them. And having a live drummer was incredible and really took the party to another level. Happy New Year! We had a great December mostly because Energy Productions was the entertainment at our children's B'Nai Mitzvah! The winning combination of Brad as our MC, Anton as the DJ and dancers Blake, Nick, and Kevelle, left everyone wanting more! As we looked out into the crowd of our guests, we saw people who never dance, actually dancing! Every kid and adult were completely involved and were singing, dancing and enjoying themselves! Because this was our first large event needing entertainment, Brad took the time to explain the process. Once booked, we had access to event specific planning forms that requested our information (i.e.: if we were doing a montage; what songs we wanted played, or not played; who to honor, etc), and it gave a clock countdown to when our event was taking place. It made the process very easy. And working with the Energy team was effortless. They contacted us to set up meetings. We were able to go to a family night and see the dancers in action and request who we wanted to participate at our event. We have been to other events with entertainment. We have seen kids (and adults) on their phones, or moping in the corners of the room. Brad and his crew made sure everyone was engaged. We wanted our event to be unique, so we had a camping theme. Brad suggested that during the cocktail hour, he played "picnic games" with the kids to tie in to our theme. This was a hit with our kid's friends because it was different. Brad and his crew made suggestions to keep with our theme. Also, our kids wanted to do a fun dance during their entrance. Blake helped choreograph a great performance that fit with the dance skills of our 13 year old boy and 13 year old girl. It was a ton of fun and they even enlisted us as parents to do some easy background swaying. It was another hit!! With Energy, there is no pressure. They ask you up front how involved you want to be. They customize YOUR event to YOU! We HIGHLY recommend this group! We have gotten MANY extremely positive comments from our friends, family and parents of our kids friends about how much fun everyone had, and how they couldn't believe how everyone who were able to dance, actually did dance! I have seen Energy Productions perform in many venues as I grew up, and I was nothing but impressed. When I was searching for a wedding DJ, they were one of the first groups that I thought about. I spoke with the owner, Brad, and he was nothing but personal. My venue also had nothing but great things to say about them. They were very responsive to any questions or issues I had. For example, I had to push back my ceremony a hour. Also, I needed to add some elements to the reception at the last minute. We were assigned Lisa as our DJ. Lisa was just awesome. She had the vibe and personality that we were looking for. We hit it off from our initial meeting, and she totally understood the party that we were looking for. I can't possibly write as good a review as Energy Productions deserves - they are simply amazing! We had one of their DJs, Josh, for our wedding reception and he really made the night perfect. He was friendly and funny, and really paid attention to what we wanted. He didn't even make fun of me for demanding a particular Glee cover get played at some point in the evening. Our guests were really impressed by Josh and told us so repeatedly. He knew how to keep people out on the dance floor, and wasn't afraid to change songs if it seemed like no one was into it. He stayed engaged in the music all night. He was professional but laidback, which helped keep me calm on what could have been a stressful day. He went through every single detail of our event with us and later sent a full schedule for our approval. He even handled an issue we were having with our event manager.
