I had done some guided meditation in the past, and loved the thought of doing it again, especially with the way life is going, this was definitely a no brainer. I decided to book this with my bestfriend, as we were spending the day together for my birthday, and she was recently diagnosed with a terminal autoimmune illness. This is a guided meditation that was a DIFFERENT LEVEL!!!! I cannot tell you enough from the moment you walk in, you feel the peace and serenity in all aspects. Kelly was absolutely amazing and just gives off this unreal relaxing aura,-you just know you are going to feel absolutely at peace, especially within. Kelly took the time to get to know each of us and exactly what heaviness- life was putting on us. I could not believe how much Kelly really listened, and understood what we were feeling. Kelly made sure we were very comfortable and did not rush or give us any type of feeling that we were an "appointment". From beginning to end, she took the time to really listen and validate our feelings being woman and mothers. I actually got a little emotional during the mediatation, because it just took me to a place mentally, that I have missed and it gave me a feeling of having control, of my peace and wellbeing IN MIND, BODY, AND SOUL! My best friend had never done guided meditation, and so this resonated with her. My bestie's mindset about her illness, is a much more clear and optimistic. I bought a gift certificate for my cousin just last week, who is so excited to meet with Kelly and learn the various wellness practices Soma offers. I vowed to myself that this will be part of my self care- I deserve this all the time not just because it was my birthday! Kelly made sure to tell us to reach out, (even when our budgets may not allow this for ourselves), because she is flexible and wants (especially women/moms) to truly take care of themselves. Second visit did a 60 minute deep tissue massage. Omg! The therapist was incredible and, again, very thorough. She added hot stones toward the end -- perfection. (They use unscented oil and lotion which were fantastic. And a hot towel at the end to wipe off excess and help the skin absorb.)

The…read morecenter has several studios that can accommodate small to large classes with ease, and the prices are reasonable. The reason I gave 4 vs 5 stars is because of the limited class availability, and I have found this with most yoga studios. Om offers 1-2 classes in the morning and then (I am not 100% positive) nothing until the evening. Most working folks can't attend a 9:30 a.m. class, which makes going quite difficult. Evenings I am usually too busy. They used to offer a 6/6:30 a.m. class that was geared towards runners and/or athletes, but I believe they cancelled it. An early morning class would be incredibly helpful for those that have to go to work. That being said, when I can I will always go back.
