MDS melds the Montessori philosophy with their unique perspectives to create an ideal environment that nurtures their students, instilling in them the passion to learn on their own. Students develop the skills to funnel their natural curiosities into a solid method for learning- students are not so much taught new ideas and concepts- they are given the tools and the guidance to do this on their own. This basic foundation for acquiring knowledge is essential and will serve the students well into adulthood. Students also learn to interact with each other in a respectful manner. The most stunning thing you will notice if you view a school in session is just how quiet the classrooms can be.
