Parking was plentiful, and the check-in process was quick and efficient. After a photo opportunity at the entrance, we were free to explore the museum at our own pace. As someone who isn't a huge football fan, I was mostly tagging along for my husband, who was excited to visit. While there were plenty of exhibits, we were surprised that some notable players we expected to see had very little presence. My husband enjoyed the experience overall but felt there could have been more to see. One thing that stood out was the lack of seating throughout the museum. If you're planning to spend a few hours walking through the exhibits, be prepared to stay on your feet. We spent about two hours exploring and found the two theater presentations to be the highlight of the visit. The films were engaging and, for me, the most memorable part of the experience. The photo packages offered at the entrance were quite expensive, with the cheapest option starting around $38 for digital downloads only. The gift shop was also on the pricey side. In the end, we purchased the digital photos and a few small souvenirs. Overall, it's a worthwhile stop for football fans, especially if you can take advantage of a combo ticket. While my husband was glad he finally got to visit, we both felt the experience was a bit shorter and less extensive than we expected.

Great Lakes Brewing Company is one of those regional classics from the early days of craft beer in…read morethe USA. If you're a beer fan, and fan of local and beer history, this is a must visit stop in downtown Cleveland. There's a ton to see here. If you reflect outside, you can see how this used to be a bunch of separate businesses and houses that gradually turned into the large spot that's here today. The exterior is historic brick facades, some of which carry over inside. It's along a street that has been transformed into pedestrian only access, so you'll have a pleasant visit if you sit outside to enjoy the fresh air, shady trees, and passersby. Inside there is a ton to look at. The main entrance toward the middle hold the original brewing system from when they first started; they've come a long way. To the left you'll find the merchandise store, with beer to go, plus a ton of apparel, swag, and other merchandise. To the right begin the bar areas, and there are a few. The old bar is here, right at the crossroads of all the staircases and hallways: the basement is its own vibe and also has the only restrooms, main level has various seating areas. If you're at the main bar, you can order direct from the bar; our bartender was so fast and attentive despite the huge crows. Upstairs is another experience with old creaky floors and many small rooms for more intimate conversations. Everywhere throughout is historic brewery art, trays, bottles, etc. from the region, most of which are long gone. Their beer is consistently well made and flavorful, I'm told they have amazing holiday traditions and events here. It's well worth a visit.

The beer was cold and tasty, my only complaint was that they were out of a couple of beers. The food was pretty good. They had a good selection to choose from and everyone felt satisfied that they had something they wanted. Service was decent. She was friendly, but disappeared for a bit while we were waiting to pay.

My buddy chose this hotel, both because of its proximity to our show and after party, but more so because of the historic nature of the property and what hides in the basement. The hotel is modern on the inside, with great rooms, plenty of seating space, big open modern bathrooms, and fluffy towels. We didn't get to use most of the shared facilities but were invited to a roof party. This used to be a large bank, which means there are vaults in the basement. Now a nightclub and bar, The Vault is a great place to hang out if you're staying here (see separate review). Prices were reasonable even for a weekend with many big events, concerts, and games happening at once. I'd stay here again.

It's definitely worth the price and makes for a fun, unique night out.

I rarely leave reviews, but what happened at Kalahari Resorts in Sandusky, Ohio, on July 15, 2026,…read morewas so deceptive that I feel obligated to warn other parents. First, let me be clear: my children and my brother's children--seven children altogether--and I had an amazing time. The water park, accommodations, food, and attractions were fantastic. This review is not about the quality of the resort. It is about what I believe is a deceptive practice that targets families. I booked a one-night, two-day stay with early check-in, late check-out, and purchased the Ultimate Package. When we entered our room, there were numerous snacks and treats displayed alongside the items included with the Ultimate Package. To a parent walking into a room with excited children, everything appeared to be part of the package or a complimentary welcome gift. Only after we had already enjoyed our stay did I receive an email informing me that I had been charged $303.18 for those snacks. I immediately went to the front desk while I was still at the resort and spoke with a manager. His response was, "I understand, but I can only cut the bill in half." That response completely missed the point. The issue is not whether I should pay $303 or $150. The issue is that the snacks were presented in a way that reasonably led guests to believe they were included or complimentary. The manager claimed there was a note somewhere indicating the snacks were not included. If there was, it certainly was not obvious enough to prevent this misunderstanding. If you are going to charge hundreds of dollars for snacks, every single item should have a clear, unmistakable label stating that it is NOT INCLUDED and that consuming it will result in additional charges. Hiding a small disclaimer while placing the snacks next to the package items is misleading. As parents, we save for months to give our children a memorable vacation. We budget carefully for the room, the attraction passes, the meals, and the extras we intentionally choose. What we should not have to budget for is a surprise $303 snack bill because children naturally assumed the snacks left in the room were part of what had already been purchased. Frankly, I don't care if Kalahari refunds every dollar. My purpose in writing this review is to pressure Kalahari's management to stop this practice. If enough parents speak up, perhaps they will redesign how these items are presented instead of relying on confusion to generate additional revenue. To every parent considering a stay at Kalahari Sandusky: be extremely careful. Before your children touch anything left in the room, ask exactly what is included and what is not. Better yet, tell your children not to eat anything that has been placed in the room until you have verified that it is free. Kalahari has built a wonderful destination for families. It should be known for creating lasting memories--not for leaving parents with unexpected charges that sour an otherwise wonderful vacation. Until this practice changes, I cannot recommend Kalahari to other families without this warning.

The beds were eh not the most comfortable but fine The next morning we went to the breakfast place. Horrible we thought we got food poisoning so the next morning we went to McDonald's instead Then we did the park till 6 it was wonderful however some of the slides, walking up them felt sketchy it wasn't only me it was the people next to me in line some slides were extremely dirty especially the ones above the lazy river Some slides were leaking water into the lazy river We went to the Italian restaurant and it was wonderful the service was amazing and the food was amazing We went to sleep and packed the next day. The carts are small but 2 worked Some other things The slides get dark, a lot of them, especially the rhino one and Victoria falls more lights would be amazing The water slides should be cleaner especially the ones near the flow rider A lot of the slides were down There was gray and dirty water coming out some slides The bed headrest broke and nobody fixed it The curtains don't shut fully Ai art at the arcade
