Anthony gives himself smiley face reviews by reaching over the desk and selecting it for himself. He's done it more than once for me and does it for others all the time. I have a problem with a man or anyone taking my voice without my consent. Beware. He tried to gaslight me and claimed that it was because the line would get backed up. There was no one behind me. So he lies, too. I talked to a patient Manager about it... she just told me to not go to him anymore, when I come in. The front desk clerk what so rude from the get-go! I asked one quick question which I probably could have been worded better, and he answered, "What does that mean? I have no idea what you're talking about." Then he asked about a second barcode on the package. "You have two bare codes. What is this one for?" I kindly explained that the USPS online store suggested I attach it for quicker updates. No response at all. Put kinder people at the front desk! read more

This is the best post office ever! I drive out of my way to come here.. The employees are fast, efficient, and gracious. It doesn't matter if the line is out the door, I don't think I've ever waited more than 10 minutes, and there is always an apology for the wait. read more

We no longer receive packages from them. They claim my dog is dangerous and preventing them from delivering. That's Bull. Ever since we've moved back into our house, two or more months ago, I've been sitting on the front steps every time I let her out, EVERY TIME! On the 13th I watched as the mail person drove on by, didn't even glance at me. And I was sitting in the top step in clear view. So now I'm bring forced to go somewhere else and rent a box. Put in a temporary forwarding address October 14, due to hurricane damage and having to relocate. Confirmation letter and code received from USPS Oct 28 that mail will be forwarded. To date I have received ONE piece of mail that was forwarded from Englewood to Orlando. If not for FEMA's website to track my application progress, I would have missed ALL mail from FEMA. Then I see in the "Correspondence" tab, that Englewood Post Office has "returned to sender", an important letter from FEMA. Now I'm concerned that my check has been stolen, sent back to FEMA, or otherwise misappropriated in the postal system. I have notified FEMA so they are aware, tried to call the post office (rings until it disconnects), and called ASK USPS. Learned via robot, to submit a Service Request (it sent a link via Text), get a Service Request number from my submission, and that someone will contact me in 1-3 business days. I will also visit the post office in a few days to personally ask about this issue, taking all documentation with me. read more

I was assisted with a missing mail report by one of the employees at this office. She went above and beyond in tracking my package which had been mailed priority two weeks earlier. Within 3 days, the package was delivered. Great customer service. read more

Absolutely horrible customer service! I don't drive so I rely heavily on mail and package delivery. Ordered as usual from Walmart. Package was followed as always for delivery updates. Was informed that my package arrived yet. No package. My husband and I were outside the entire day. No mail was delivered. I will absolutely never rely on Englewood Florida's bullshit customer service and absolute zero assistance. Thank you for allowing my animals to starve since it was an entire case of food that was apparently stolen right in front of our house. Zero use for these people. This is why customer service is going to be automated. Extremely unhappy customer. I will spend the money to have a reputable company deal with any future delivery I have. read more

For some reason this location was listed as, "CLOSED" It's NOT closed. I went this AM. Talk about culture shock!!! I've never been to a post office where EVERYONE is so nice!!! Before I even got in line to mail my item, a postal employee was walking around and asking if I needed any help. I actually did, finding a padded envelope. After getting into line, the same person was making sure everyone waiting was ok or needed anything. When I was called, Postal Employee Rita, was nice as pie! I'm not used to this. It felt like an alternate reality where all government employees aren't rude!!! LOL! They could use some of this back home in Jersey! read more

Very helpful employees. I had an Amazon package sent via mail although I was only renting. They helped me locate it and were quite friendly throughout the process. The clerk I spoke to was Brian and the postal carrier was Sue. They are both exemplary postal workers. read more

We just moved here to Englewood from Las Vegas,Nv back in June. Such a pleasure to come in and your greeted with a warm smile and a be right with you. I've never waited in line longer than 5-10 mins, but they always apologize for the wait. Truly a great experience and so helpful. read more

Take care which clerk you go to. Some are great. The person I had today was terrible. She barely looked at me because she was so busy talking to other clerks about brownies, getting change etc. Rather than use her register she used her "hand held" then tore the receipt, then made me stand there while she taped it back together again. She cleverly tore it right through the on-line address for the customer service so, even with the taping (or because of it?) it is illegible so this is the only way I can comment. As I said, some of the clerks are great. This one was terrible. Next time I'll go to a different clerk or refuse the "hand held" Even though its not on the torn part, the tiny tickertape receipt makes if very difficult to read the tracking number. read more

People inside are very friendly, but many times I do not get my mail delivered in a timely manner.
