This place may one day save my life. I bought a medic alert necklace here. Not a huge selection of them but there is really only so much variety one can do on a disk that is supposed to notify medical personnel what can kill you. I have since moved my engraved pendant onto a nicer and longer chain and it does the trick. They were speedy, accurate and reasonably priced. Service was super friendly and I like that they are locals as well as experienced pros with over 30 years experience. I was very impressed as they had a lot to write on a small area and it needed to be clear. I have a severe anaphalactic type allergy to atropine which they use a lot in ERs, I am a diabetic and I am allergic to penicillin. That is a lot of info but it all is vitally important. They managed to make it all clearly readable. They have trophies, plaques, name plates, you name it. They even etch crystal and marble. They also make custom embossers and rubber stamps. I was looking for a unique monogrammed gift to give to my groomsmen for my upcoming wedding. I purchased a dozen Yeti Ramblers with a black outer coating assuming an engraved monogram would be bold and easy. To my surprise, the black coating makes standard engraving much more cumbersome. When I brought the ramblers in for engraving, the management notified me, that because of the extra efforts required the job would be a bit more expensive than a non-coated Rambler. The extra charge was 100% worth the additional efforts because the final product exceeded expectations. This was my first experience with Engraving Connections and it will not be my last. I had a set of stainless steel beer steins engraved and they did a a good job and returned it within a reasonable amount of time (about a week). They are best when you bring in your own item because they don't have a lot of selection in terms of plaques, crystal, etc. This is also probably due to their small size and location. Price was a bit more than I expected, and you could probably get a slightly better price at a place in a bigger city, but there aren't many other options for stylish and good looking engravings. read more

This is the second time I've used them. Brought a cake server and knife to be engraved. When I came to pick them up, the monogram on the server was incorrect. Not a problem as these folks are easy to work with and very accommodating. They ordered a replacement and within 2 business days, my order was ready and the engraving was spot on. I have used Engraving Connection for a number of trophy engraving projects over the last two decades and have found them to be accurate and accommodating. In my most recent experience, I needed a number of trophy plaques rapidly engraved after a sporting event was completed and before the awards banquet - a period of only three hours between emailing the names and picking up the completed plaques. Although the state of the trophies when they arrived at the sporting event (no available blanks on one trophy, no room on a second, and two more missing completely), the work was completed only slightly after the agreed upon deadline (15 minutes) and completely accurate. I intend to use them for the further trophy modifications needed to enhance the trophies for the future. read more

I needed to find someone who could engrave a large silverplate tray. After I had tried 2 other places that flat out turned me down because the piece was too large and too difficult for them to do I found Rex and Engraving Connection on the internet and gave him a call. I explained what I had and they said no problem bring it in. Although I was 65 miles away it was so worth the drive. I took my fiancé's wedding band here as a referral from the jeweler I bought it from to have it engraved for our wedding which is in 10 days. I was so sad and disappointed when I went to pick it up. I should've known when I walked in the door and they pulled the envelope off the shelves the one girl said how great it turned out and she could see it from where she was standing and the other girl handed me a magnifying glass and told me to stand in the light by the front door. It is so small and tiny that you can't even read it. It could've definitely been larger. Or perhaps a different font and larger, I don't know I'm not the engraver that's not my profession. Now this is what he has as the special token that I tried to do for the rest of our lives in his wedding band. It's not worth bothering telling him it's even in there. I am so disappointed I will definitely tell the jeweler to not refer people there anymore. It was a long drive to get there and a waste of my time. But saddens me even more is that they didn't even own it, it was the best she could do and we're sorry it didn't turn out very good or something like that. But they tried to play it off as great. A waste of $35. There's nothing I can do now I can't have it fixed or redone. So disappointed. read more

I contacted this company and spoke with Rex personally about having some initials photoetched into some small rivet heads that I was using for an early auto toolbag. I was clear from the very beggining that I was looking for nothing short of perfection or as close as was humanly possible to the original example that I had. I followed his needs for what it would take to do the job and mailed him the neccessary items. I waited two weeks without hearing from him and called, the lady that answered said they had not received the items yet although I had sent express mail. I waited another week and again spoke with Rex and was told that he was away all last week but the items had arrived, he would try and get to them that week and would notify me of the progress. Never heard from him, I called back the following week and he admitted that he had completely forgotten about them but would have his guy do them prob. later that day. I called back the next day and he said they were done, wanted my credit card number, I was surprised at that but simply asked him for a photo...something of what I would be paying for, he sent this and the item was NOTHING like the original, it was clear at this point that the staff there are either too busy to take care of customers proerly, stupid, or on drugs. I called him and questioned what had been done, his response was that he didnt have any time to play games and that was the end of it.
