Engroff Catering was an absolute dream to work with! I had chosen another caterer several months earlier for a fine dining party I was hosting April 30th, but due to the other caterer failing to follow thru at the very last minute (8 days before my event) after several months of planning with them, I was forced to scramble to find a caterer. Engroff's was able to seamlessly and extremely professionally cater my event at the very last minute. Their event coordinator was able to meet with me Monday (after I contacted them Friday afternoon) at the venue, offer multiple suggestions about the menu, we set a menu...and when I mentioned I was hosting ANOTHER event the following day (May 1st), informed me they would also be able to cater that event was well, if I was interested. Both events went off without a hitch and after receiving multiple compliments about the food (and Engroff's being extremely professional and understanding about how stressed I was due to the first caterer falling thru), are now my caterer of choice, bar none. Food is here and it is cold with no way to heat it. They left earlier and we had to wait for them to return. Also, they did not accurately compute the amount of food to meet the needs of the amount of people that came to the party. read more

I got married in March of 2018 and needed a caterer to serve us in Lawrence. Aboud's was the only one to both fit our budget and have delicious food! We enjoyed our free tasting and then it was very easy to work through email to plan out exactly what we wanted. We ended up with delicious empanadas for an appetizer that our guests snatched up quickly and a taco bar with both meat and veggie options (plus ah-ma-zing cheese enchiladas). They even boxed up our leftovers for us. We only just finished the leftovers we froze three months later! I would definitely suggest Aboud's for any event due to their great food and service. Amazing food, amazing service. I was organizing a banquet from out of town and had never tasted their food before. They were very responsive and gave me a choice of menus to fit my budget. The night of the event they were on time and ready to serve. The food was plentiful and delicious. I particularly recommend the Caesar salad and hand breaded honey / pecan glazed chicken. I have sampled Aboud's catering at several State sponsored events. Never great, occasionally "passable", usually just at palatable. This morning I experience the WORST catered breakfast I have ever experienced. It consisted of cubed fried potatoes (ordinary), an egg casserole that was completely unimaginative, (people picked half the ingredients out), scrambled eggs with cheese (from the blandness I suspect they were made from frozen or powdered eggs), biscuits (the only recipe item that was remotely good, but my 7-year-old granddaughter can make good biscuits), bland gravy, RAW cinnamon rolls (even the edge ones were gummy and tasted of yeast), ham and cubed fruit. I ended up throwing almost an entire plate of food away, and I usually clean my plate! Lunch will be a long time coming today! I LOVE cinnamon rolls, but not bread dough! That alone could have ruined a good breakfast. If you are attending an event catered by Aboud's, bring a sack lunch! read more
