Unsure of how to time the drive, we ended up getting their pretty early, so parked in their garage, went to the office, and signed in. Although we were close to 1/2 hour early, we were taken back within 10 minutes - something that surprised me. My experience in the past at other doctor's offices is, if they take you to a room early, you wait in the room for a long time. Not so here, we waited about five minutes before the doctor came in. The experience with the Nephrologist was great. It was just an office visit - a follow up appointment. The doctor was very kind, inquisitive, and seemed to know her stuff. (That is a really good quality for a doctor. :) ) When we left, you pay in the elevator lobby for parking. They don't validate so I expected we would pay a pretty penny for the time we were there. Much to our surprise, when we put the ticket in the machine, it said there was no balance due. Wow. While doctor's visits are never a walk in the park, the experience here was actually very good.

This falls on the public safety department,and law enforcement, rushing those who've been treated and insurance has ran out. I,'m now faced with paying for a refill out of pocket and tonnage,still haven't located the medications(An important medication/Mood stabilizer)which I was on for a days has gone missing,and shouldn't stop taking the meds,which could cause seizures or EXTREME spectrums,not to mention other medications. I have never had a run in with law enforcement until a misunderstanding days without the meds,this misunderstanding could've cost me my life. The institutions in Evanstonnareba gem,but need to do better with the less fortunate,who don't have the best insurance, but some of us have the best integrity, and dignity. Evanston needs to stop trampling on its residents,less fortunate,catering to Northwestern,and its other privileged. Community is a fine line from something else.Do not claim to be for the people,then treat them like a nuisance.

So much so that he often runs behind, yet he's so good that you don't mind waiting! I made my husband see him after we got married and now he's his primary as well. He has a great network and always gives good referrals when we need to see specialists. Not sure what we'll do when he retires, but for now, we're happy with Dr. Davis.

Dr. Linn is also very caring. He communicates well and continued to invite my further questions and concerns after he thoroughly and clearly explained my procedure. Once the surgery was complete, he had great follow-up, checking in on my well-being even before I had my after-surgery consultation. Even at that last visit, he continued to show care. If I ever needed a surgeon again, I would jump at the chance to have Dr. Linn perform it. I would highly recommend him.

If you want to talk about relevant family issues he'll actually cancel your physical as it is happening and pretty much tell you to bear your cross with Christian fortitude. Repeated attempts to get him to apologize for violating his Hippocratic oath have been ignored by him so short of resorting to legal proceedings this review will have to do in the meantime.

Did not find him overly focused on that when I used to see him though. In fact, I wish he had been since subsequently I discovered that a low or no carb diet was the only way I could lose weight. I stopped going to him when I moved into the city about 15 year ago. Planning to move back north and see him again as I had nothing but positive experiences when I saw him. This is why I remembered him and want to go back when I move even though I do like my city doctor too. I recently gave birth here, and the overall experience was exceptional. Nurses were attentive and…read moreable to update each other efficiently to ensure continuity of care. In labor and delivery, the nurse told us that the facility was recently updated. All the medical equipment was new, and the fetal monitor they used was even wireless. The only slight hiccup was that there was nearly no room in postpartum care. Fortunately, we got the last room in the overflow floor. Having giving birth in another state, I was extremely impressed by how updated everything was in the overflow room - the shower was brand new, and the bed could be operated to lengthen or sit at various angles. For pain management, I was a little surprised that their policy is to give ibuprofen only upon request. At the previous hospital I was at, they had a regimen switching between Tylenol and ibuprofen. Parking was probably the most difficult part. The main parking lot is a little far, and you have to use a different entrance if you're coming in the evening (rather than the main entrance of the women's hospital). However, when we left, my partner was able to temporarily park in the rotunda to make the commute a little shorter.
