Extremely passionate with the whole family. Another hospice was called for the last patient we waited several days. We never heard from them. I called Gentiva and they were at my dad's door in a matter of hours. Highly recommend. Not only did they care for the patient they showed how much they cared for our family. If I ever need hospice again I will call Gentiva hospice first.

I was given Dr. Connor Overby who clearly didn't understand…read morewhat his patient was needling when I told him, I needed something for anxiety he put me in two bipolar meds. Didn't hear what I was feeling on the first visit. For the second appointment I left wellstone with 6 mood stabilizer medications and nothing for my anxiety... he put me specifically on meds that would get him payed more such as Vraylar. He didn't listen and was unorganized and late to our appointments. When I called the office and told him my medication was as causing me to see things and walk in the woods during the night, not one of the staff took me seriously and wanted me to come in their other location so what they could put me in Psych?! He doesn't seem like he is looking out for the best interest of his patients but more his pocket. Before coming here really consider your mental health. This is a lesson no matter how many certificates are on his/her wall doesn't mean they are good at what they do or know about their jobs. Don't go to these little clinics that the doctors don't know anything and generally do not give a crap about you. I hope this helps... I hope he gets his license pulled and cleans trash for the rest of his life. He doesn't need to be working with actual patients or kids, or anyone who has a pulse.
