So here's my experience: This artist did not fill in my natutal brow; she changed the brow line. She placed the perment brow ink in areas of the brow I did not agree to. Consequently, I think this made me look uneven and told her. She said it was from my previous eyebrow tatoo and that I do not have a symetrical face. But, in reviewing pictures that is not the case. I do not have a symetrical face, but the previous artists compensated and used my browline to make facial features look even. As a solution she recommended using another flesh colored ink to cover up the brow ink instead of trying to remove the ink. Don't ever let a permanent make-up artist do this; I learned the hard way. I really do not like the final result and asked her how to remove the ink. She recommended Lift saline, which does not work with the Tina Davies Permablend ink used. Google reviews reveal that this ink is really difficult to have removed, and others have had atrocious experience with artists who use this ink--that should be outlawed. I'm on my sixth laser removal treatment and the area is only slightly lighted. Nightmare. This artist does give good facials; but, I cannot give more stars due to the cost of fixing the eyebrows.

I appreciate the communication via email and text messages prior to my appointment. I was able to find the office because of the thorough directions. I opted for a brow stain, wax, and shaping. Simone made the experience non-intimidating, comfortable, and enjoyable. Her professionalism throughout the process will have me coming back for another service. The warmed table is a nice touch as well. Her questions and suggestions guided me throughout the process. Since it was my first time, I decided to keep it simple and follow my natural brow shape. I drove an hour to the office, arrived on time, and found the business closed. I waited outside for over an hour in nearly 100-degree weather, sending text messages and trying to find out what was happening. No one contacted me to let me know the appointment had been canceled. Eventually, I was informed that the owner had experienced a life-threatening medical emergency. I truly sympathize with that, and I sincerely hope she has made a full recovery. Medical emergencies happen, and I don't fault anyone for that. What I do fault is the complete lack of communication. If a business is unable to operate due to an emergency, there should be a process in place to notify clients who are driving long distances and taking time off work. Instead, I spent over three hours traveling and waiting, with no explanation. Unfortunately, after expressing my frustration over the situation, I received an email from the owner stating that she would no longer provide services to me because the tone of my communications was "shocking" and not consistent with the professional relationship she strives to maintain. I respectfully disagree. My frustration was directed at being left stranded outside a closed business with no communication--not at someone's medical emergency, which I didn't even know about while I was waiting. I believe clients deserve timely communication, especially when appointments are canceled unexpectedly. While I appreciate the refund and genuinely wish the owner continued good health, the way this entire situation was handled--and the follow-up response I received--left me feeling that my experience as a client was dismissed rather than understood. I hope the business develops a better emergency communication process so that no future client has to experience what I did.
