I'm very particular about my brows and she accommodated all of my needs. She made sure that what she was doing was what I want her to do. She also offered to put makeup on my brows using Benefit products but I declined because it was pretty late at night and I was just going home anyway. But, if you book your appointment in the middle of the day and have somewhere to go afterwards, then take her up on her offer. You're eyebrows will be on fleek! :) However, the pricing is pretty hefty for waxing. It's probably the most expensive brow place in Norman. Also, one thing that somewhat throws me off is that they wax you in the middle of the store while seated. It's kind of awkward when the store is busy and there's a lot of people browsing the Benefit counters. Some (mostly little kids shopping with their moms) will even stare and watch as you are getting waxed. Additionally, Ulta gets pretty hectic some days especially if they have an event so I recommend going on a weekday and booking an appointment in the morning if you want to try this place out. I like this place, but you can get your money's worth somewhere else. My current aesthetician charges a third of what the Benefit Brow Bar charges. Plus, you get to lay down and relax; the atmosphere is zen and calm (which you cannot find inside Ulta).

My eyes immediately turned red, bloodshot, burning on fire, and Haze covered my eyes. My technician asked her coworker. If her coworker had ever had an experience and her coworker said that this particular product irritates her eyes as well. She was very apologetic and kind. We had to immediately flush and rinse my eyes and nothing was working. After trying everything we could I ended up canceling my appointment and barely made it home because of my vision and the burning. When I got home I sent my technician a text message asking for the ingredients of the product because I was going to have to have an emergency eye doctor visit and I also wanted to know how the owner wanted me to handle that visit to my eye doctor and my technician indicated that the manager was on the phone with the owner and that someone would be getting back with me ASAP. Not one person has called me or reached out to me in four hours and I think this is horrific customer experience. To not even have a little bit of humanitarianism to reach out and check on me. I am sure that the Young technician showed the images to the owner and to the store manager because they were offering me free services but no one has reached out what kind of human being doesn't have enough compassion to reach out and see if someone's OK are they that worried that there's gonna be a lawsuit or a situation that we have forgotten what it's like to be a human being and care about somebody and that's what makes me angry about this entire experience. Everybody has different reactions to products, and I understand that but the lack of humanism in this whole experience is infuriating and I am sharing my experience with everyone. I will not go back to this place and I will share my personal opinions and my personal experience with everyone that I come in contact with about how the leadership of this organization handled this situation I would not recommend this business in my personal opinion.

My tech (Kinsley) was super sweet and social. I ended up getting another service since they were doing a promo for half-off an additional service. When I paid, the girl at the register was kind, told me about deals and promos but also didn't push me into anything. I was in and out in about 20 minutes and everything went great!

They do not take walk-ins, and their late policy is strict to the point of being unreasonable. I arrived at the 9-minute mark and was turned away, despite being told that 9 minutes is the cutoff. Instead of attempting to work with me or see if there was any flexibility, I was offered an appointment three hours later -- which obviously doesn't work for most people with busy schedules. There seems to be little effort to accommodate clients who are trying to make appointments work within real-life constraints. A bit of grace or customer-centered problem-solving would go a long way. What's frustrating is that the Moore location does not operate this way and has never made things this difficult. The difference in service between locations is noticeable. Unfortunately, based on multiple experiences, I won't be returning to the Norman location.
