We moved our son to Kreative Kidz Preschool after a really difficult experience at another center,…read moreand the difference was night and day. From the start, the environment felt warm, welcoming, and genuinely focused on the kids. Our son absolutely loved going every day--he was excited to be there, which was such a relief for us as parents. During his time there, he moved up into another class and truly grew by leaps and bounds, both socially and developmentally. The play-based learning approach struck the perfect balance of fun and education, and it was clear how much thought and care went into their programs. The staff is incredible--Director Ms. Vanessa runs a tight ship while still creating a nurturing, positive atmosphere. Ms. Kiki and Ms. Alice were especially wonderful with our son, showing so much patience, kindness, and encouragement. One moment that really meant a lot to us: when we had to move out of state, they threw our son a going-away birthday party--even though his actual birthday was more than a month away. That level of thoughtfulness speaks volumes about how much they care about the kids and families. They were also very communicative throughout our time there, which we appreciated. And as a bonus, they helped solidify our son's potty training, which was a huge milestone. We only left because of our move, otherwise we would have stayed without hesitation. Highly, highly recommend Kreative Kidz Preschool to any family looking for a caring, engaging, and supportive environment for their child

He looks forward to going to school every day and is always excited to see his friends and teachers. He even asks us to let him go to school on weekends! What I love most is how much he enjoys learning--even at home--which he says is because his teachers make it so much fun! My husband and I are also aware of what's going on since the teachers (especially Miss Vanessa, Miss Adriana, and Miss Rosa) keep us updated in Class Dojo and also makes time to talk to us during drop off/pick up. As a mom who tends to worry, seeing my only child beam with excitement every morning gives me so much peace knowing he's in such caring and capable hands.

If you are looking for a childcare facility that does NOT prioritizes consistent communication with…read moreparents and keeps families uninformed about their child's daily experiences, this may be the right fit. As a parent, I believe it is important to know how my child is doing, how he is interacting with other children, and whether there are any concerns that need to be addressed. Unfortunately, that level of communication was largely absent throughout our experience. There were multiple occasions when I arrived to pick up my son from his assigned classroom, only to discover that he was in a different classroom. When I asked why he had been moved, I was often unable to get a clear answer. As a parent, it is concerning not to know where your child is throughout the day or the reasons for changes in their routine. When we first enrolled our son, we were informed that the center was in the process of implementing the Procare app as a communication tool between parents and staff. We were told that parents would receive updates, photos, messages from teachers, and notifications regarding supplies such as diapers, wipes, extra clothing, or any other classroom needs. As a mother of six, I appreciated the convenience and reassurance that this system was supposed to provide. However, in practice, communication through the app was nonexistent. There were very few updates about my child's day, limited photos, and little to no information about his progress, activities, or interactions. If supplies were running low, I often found out at the last minute rather than through advance notification. There was also very little proactive communication regarding behavioral concerns, developmental milestones, classroom changes, or incidents that occurred during the day. On several occasions, I learned about issues only after they had become ongoing concerns rather than being addressed collaboratively from the beginning. Most of the time, I had to initiate conversations myself to get information about how my child was doing. Another disappointment was the lack of classroom work and artwork coming home. I expected to see more age-appropriate projects and creative activities that reflected what the children were learning. Artwork was sent home very infrequently, and when it was, it often appeared to be largely teacher-prepared rather than work that my child had independently created. As a parent, I enjoy seeing my child's creativity and developmental progress through the projects they bring home, and that opportunity was limited. My son is an energetic and active child who loves to run, jump, and explore. While I understand that children learn from one another and that no childcare environment is perfect, I began noticing behaviors and language that were not being modeled at home. In addition, I personally observed instances of children hitting one another and using inappropriate language. While occasional behavioral challenges are expected among young children, I was concerned by what I witnessed and by the lack of communication regarding how these situations were being addressed. As time went on, my son began coming home using words and phrases that are not used in our household and displaying behaviors that raised concerns for us as parents. Whenever concerns arose, I took the opportunity to talk with my son about making positive choices, treating others with kindness and respect, and using appropriate language. However, I would have appreciated more communication and partnership from the staff regarding behavioral expectations and incidents occurring during the day. Over the last four months of his enrollment, my concerns continued to increase. Rather than feeling like I was partnering with the staff in my child's care and development, I often felt disconnected from what was happening throughout his day. Open and consistent communication is one of the most important aspects of a quality childcare experience, and unfortunately, that was something I found lacking. Every parent deserves to feel informed, respected, and confident that their questions and concerns will be addressed. My experience left me feeling uncertain and frustrated due to the lack of communication, limited transparency, and difficulty obtaining answers when concerns were raised. While every family's experience may be different, these were significant factors in my decision to reevaluate whether this center was the right environment for my child.

Charisse, the owner, has over 25 years in childcare, and you can tell that she is sincerely passionate and caring for kids. She takes the time to make sure you can tour her daycare, meet her staff (who were also lovely), and even meet a parent for some non-bias reference. We hit it off right from the start. With some other daycares we toured, we felt uneasy and concerned. But with Charisse, she restored our faith in loving childcare daycares. First thing I noticed when I walked in was it was CLEAN! The childcare room is spacious. The place was well-organized. There is also a camera for the daycare's records, which made me feel safe that should anything happen to our baby, they would be able to pinpoint and review, in the rare case that they didn't see it. She showed us the log they use to track babies' activities. Social interaction and development was very important for us. They showed us flashcards that they go thru daily. You hear the laughter of the kids and see the smiles on their faces - we already felt like we could trust them to care for our daughter. We also LOVE that they (with permission of parents) take the kids on walks, go to the library, or go to the park. We were bummed that after discussions, we couldn't go with full-time care, because it was far from home. We ARE going to consider them for date nights though! They are open 24/7 which puts the stress off for time constraints. Charisse is truly a gem, and we hope we can bring baby girl here when we plan date nights soon!

I knew this would be a right fit for my daughter right away since my main concern was for her to be in a safe caring environment while having the opportunity to learn. Well, it has been six months now and my daughter is now almost two years old, and its incredible how much she has learned! She knows her colors, the first few letters of the alphabet, and has created great relationships with the staff and fellow classmates. The kids always seem to be having fun and Teresa is great at keeping me informed, and sends me pictures of my daughter without needing to request them. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent!

Nayana isn't just a caretaker... she's a toddler whisperer, snack sommelier, and tiny human growth architect all rolled into one. Thanks to her thoughtful curriculum, they're hitting (and let's be honest, crushing) every developmental milestone like it's a competitive sport. Letters? They know them all. Numbers? Counted, sorted, and probably color-coded. Shapes? Mastered. Arts and crafts? We're not sure if they're learning or training to become Etsy entrepreneurs. The program director, Savi, told me that the information could not be provided until after paying a fee. After paying $125, I later learned from the funding agency that there is a waiting list over a year long, and we are currently #49. The agency also stated that providers are fully aware of these waitlists and should be disclosing this before collecting any fees. To make things worse, I was later told there was an assumption that I was already approved for assistance--which is completely untrue and contradicts the email chain. On April 9th, I was told we would need to be approved first before selecting a school, by the program director confirming we were starting the process from scratch. Because of the lack of transparency, my child still cannot attend daycare, and we were put in an unnecessary financial and childcare bind.
