We had an elopement here on October 6, 2025 and were so grateful they were able to accommodate us as we wanted to get married on our anniversary which fell on a Monday. From our first meeting with April we were blown away by the venue and how kind she is and after months of searching for a venue, we decided on site that we had found the one. The venue has 3 gorgeous locations for your ceremony and or reception and tons of photo areas. Our guest have not stopped raving after attending and seeing our photos. There is even getting ready areas for bride and groom which I loved as the peaceful atmosphere in the woods helped me to calm my nerves before our ceremony. They have a golf cart to transport you and your guests and so many great add ons to make your day comfortable and special. I loved that April was able to recommend a local photographer, Pam Smith who took stunning photos. April made sure our day was perfect and walked us through every detail from day one up until our big day. She thought of everything and more so that our day was seamless. I am also grateful that our dog was able to be apart of our day as that was important to me. I was wowed at our consultation because Lisa actually LISTENED to what I wanted and was able to bring my vision to life with minimal direction. Everyone in the office was spectacular when I kept calling to add boutonnieres or change drop off locations. Overall, the flowers and centerpieces were absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted. The best part is that Amore is completely affordable! When I found out what friends spent for the same quantity and quality of flowers, I couldn't believe my ears.

All of a sudden Kenisha brings up another gay wedding similar to ours they did. How does she know our wedding is similar? We have not communicated the details, just a generic email based on vibe. And why was is she bringing up a gay wedding to us? Because we are another gay couple? To prove there's no homophobia? What was the point of this?! They are a company full of excuses. In this economy turning down work? They just did not want to work with us from the beginning. This whole interaction was gross.

The ceremony space had a huge skylight and a large window where the couple stood enabling you to see the stone bridge, rock fountains, etc. so much beauty!! After the ceremony we were directed to "The Chantilly" room and the display and selection of appetizers knocked my socks off! There was a salad station- cold area with cheese, crackers, fresh fruit, roasted beets, salmon, caprese salad and much much more! There was an Italian station w pasta, meatballs, sausage, pizza, then carved pork and skirt steak area, lots of seafood and even a mashed potato bar and a macaroni and cheese bar. Stupendous! Every time I got up I found something new to try. The wedding space was elegant and large for all to enjoy. We ordered the filet and that was served with tasty asparagus, potatoes, a peeled carrot and a light gravy sauce. I was very happy with all the desserts I tried too. The staff was ultra pleasant and attentive. This was a first class affair. I loved my time at Lucien's Manor and if you have the chance to attend or host an event there I know you will too. I am at the point where everytime i think about our wedding day i regret where it was done and if i could have reversed time and picked somewhere else, or even gone to the courthouse like we originally planned we would have been happier. getting in contact with your planner is so hard, it would take days to respond. we didnt even get to pick our cake flavor or anything like that until two days before (which they got wrong, we asked for chocolate and got vanilla). thats not even the part where im upset, we spent an EXTRA 300$ on a wedding video. after our wedding we received an email stating that we should be getting it in a few days. a week passed by and nothing, i emailed them and waited another week for a response and found out that they LOST OUR WEDDING VIDEO and is looking for it. my husband then emailed but with no response. another week went by and i texted them and was left in read for about 1-2 days before they told me that they figured out the problem on the technical side but no luck on our video, we should be getting a refund in about 10 days. it has been OVER 10 ten days and we have received nothing so i have texted them AGAIN and got left on read, which lead to another text a week later and still left on read and ignored. its sad to see this company more active on instagram than their clients. im grateful for the beautiful day i got with my friends and family, but i wish we picked somewhere else. i am heartbroken. we have no way to look back on our special day except with iphone pictures my friends and family took. we had a friend record the whole wedding and told him we didnt need it because we were getting a professional one done, so he deleted it. we understand they are very busy people, but when you screw up so bad like losing a whole wedding video you should be a little more caring than you are. reading these reviews have showed us that we have been treated worlds differently than other couples, unfortunately not in a good way. thank you elegant celebrations, for making our day definitely something we wont forget.
