I absolutely love this salon and everyone here! Kayla is so kind and welcoming and was great at helping me figure out a cut that would work well for my hair type, wants, and low maintenance styling routine. I left feeling absolutely fantastic and my hair was so shiny and soft! She also had great recommendations for products but was never pushy and even sent me home with a few small samples to try before committing to buying a whole bottle. My brows have never looked better than when Jac does them! She takes the time to outline the perfect shape and discusses everything to make sure they look EXACTLY the way you want. She's also a wealth of knowledge about skin and skincare products. I so appreciate the care taken in choosing great products and creating a supportive, fun atmosphere. I've never felt all that comfortable in salons, but I genuinely enjoy my time here and often find myself hanging around for a bit after services to chat. I was going to wait to write a review but what happened this morning cemented that this will be my permanent salon as long as it exists. They are so amazing making sure you are comfortable I've had three appointments and they have been perfect. they have a very safe vibe especially as a trans girl it's been a time since I've had that in the seat of a stylist. today I called about a product that I had grabbed, and I found out I could exchange it for the one I needed and while I won't go into specifics so that they can't be taken advantage of they handled the situation perfectly and it only makes my next appointment seem far more distant than it actually is, and I am counting down the days. read more

Brittani was fantastic! One of the things I love about coming to Enlightened Beauty is how much you feel like family as soon as you walk in the door. Today was no different. Brittani and I had fabulous conversation and she even offered to style my hair in a way that I usually have no time for (curls). It made my day! The color refresh looks amazing and I feel so confident! I also had the pleasure of having my unwanted beard removed by the talented Jacqui, she took her time and was very attention to detail by getting all of those unwanted stubborn ingrown hairs. ​ It is always a blast when I come here. I was stoked to support an LGBTQ+ business and to find out their products are all sustainable was a bonus! Kayla was spectacular with my hair, especially since it was such a big change for me. She helped me relax, gave me SO many pointers on maintaining my hair when I dye it at home, and also gave me tips on styling my newly shortened hair. She didn't shun me for using an at-home dye, which a lot of salons/stylists have done to me in the past. I'm looking forward to my next appointment. Kayla is the only one that I let touch my hair over the last 10 years. I enjoy that I don't have to have a lot of input for someone to know exactly what to do with my hair. You have not LIVED until you get a scalp massage from Britt. I've started adding an awaken scalp mask to my hair cuts to combat the winter dry flakes and it's heaven having Britt massage my scalp with all the good scalp things. Plus, she's kind of a hair cut expert to boot and I always walk out looking fresh. Highly recommend. read more

I was able to get in for my first facial with Jacqui and it was another amazing experience for me at Enlightened Beauty!
